We had our ceremony and reception at Agave Road, one of the venues that Agave Estates has, and our wedding was perfect! Everything went off perfectly and we couldn't have asked for a better or more gorgeous place to get married at.
We got engaged in June 2011 and just had our wedding March 2, 2012. Our cordinator was Lindsey, who was absolutely amazing and helped us figure out every last detail. She lets you say what you want and how you want to do things, then if she has a suggestion she will let you know and not make you feel like you have to do it, which is great! But her suggestions are outstanding.
They have a great Bridal and Groom's suite that we used before with refreshments provided. We also used the Florist and Invitations from Agave Estates, and were so happy with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend this venue to any bride who is looking for a place to get married! It is absolutely outstanding!
love it so romatic with my husband
Agave estates was absolutely wonderful!
I recently got married at Agave Road on 6/20/2014 and it was the magical experience. My fiance and I had looked at other venues prior to and when we arrived here it was love at first site. From the moment we booked with Agave everyone was so accommodating and were always available for phone calls or emails. All the preferred vendors that they provided were amazing, from the DJ, Officiant, stationary, florist, caterer and the cake designer. The best and easiest part is that Agave is all encompassing so it made our wedding experience so simple and with less hassle. The fact that we didnt have to find all the vendors was the best thing that we could have done. The day of the wedding was even better; all the lightening, decorations, flowers drinks and etc. we already done or being setup when we arrived at 2pm and it looked absolutely beautiful. My fiance and I cant say nothing but great things about our wedding day and Agave Road and would suggest it time and time again to any bride to be. :)
I am so thankful we chose Agave Road for our wedding day! For me, what made this place special was the people. We weren't just another wedding, they actually cared that our day was everything we hoped for, and so much more. And you see that in everything they do. Diana, we couldn't have done it without you! From the vendors you work with, to the office staff, everyone is fabulous! I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The one thing I can say is you will regret not choosing them. I seriously doubt anyone could ever compare to the quality and care we received. I look forward to booking our wedding vow renewal and doing it all again one day!
This place was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way for what we wanted. It has a real Texas feel to it without being over-the-top. It was natural beauty and fun that all our guest still talk about! I would recommend it a hundred times because of the friendly service and ease that the vendors on site create for you.
I don't know where to begin. From the moment we walked into Agave Road on the day of the wedding to head to the bridal suite to get ready, we knew we were in for something special. First, the bridal suite was an awesome place to get ready. We enjoyed the mimosas, the finger sandwiches and the chocolate covered strawberries. Plenty of room for the hairdressers to work their magic! Our coordinator, Lyndsey, couldn't have been more accommodating. She allowed us to add our own little touches to the venue which made it even more special. When we returned to the venue with our guests after the church ceremony, it was pure magic walking into the venue. All of the candles lit, music playing, the buffet had been set-up and the tables looked awesome. We received so many compliments from our guests on the venue and it's beauty. The DJ was so accommodating and pleasant! So, a big thank you and as high a recommendation as I can give you, Agave Road, for making my daughter's dream wedding come true!! You are worth every penny!!
My wedding was at Agave Real. We chose the venue because it had an old Spanish feel and looked like a vacation destination. We also chose Agave because almost everything for the wedding was included in the price. The only things that weren't included were photography, videography, and transportaion. Lindsey was our wedding planner that helped coordinate everything on the wedding day. She was fabulous! She kept the day running smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The food, the dj, the atmosphere were all fantastic! The venue didn't require any decorating and it looked beautiful in all of our pictures.
My daughter got married at Agave Road in May. What a beautiful wedding! I can't imagine having a more beautiful wedding venue anywhere else. Invitations, cake, food, DJ, liquor, ceremony, programs, table decorations…all included. Where else are you going to find that. Not to mention a fantastic wedding coordinator who goes above and beyond. Alli was incredible. If my daughter wanted it, she made sure it got done. My daughter and her husband wanted a private meal in the beautiful bridal suite before being introduced at the reception. (Let's face it…that was the only way they were going to get anything to eat because once you enter the reception, forget it) It was no problem. Alli made it happen. I have nothing but great things to say about Agave Road. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and the day was fantastic!!!! The landscaping is so beautiful that you might not have enough time to take all the pictures you want, but that is a good problem to have. :)
I LOVED my experience with Alli at Agave Estates. They have two venues and we were at Agave Road. Everything was beautiful and well done. Alli made sure everything was taken care of and there was nothing to worry about. My mom said that everything was packaged neatly and to where we could find everything at the end of the night. They are AWESOME!!! Everything in one place - just about. I have nothing but great things to say for this venue. They have excellent recommendations for vendors and everyone is so nice and helpful! I am so happy I came across this place and would recommend this venue to everyone!
I was initially reluctant by the sticker shock, but Agave really goes above and beyond in every way. They take a lot of pain out of planning, make sure everything goes smoothly. It's a gorgeous venue.
My husband and I had a great time at our wedding at Agave Road! Our guests had a great time too. Here are our pros and cons:
Pros: The venue is beautiful and unique. They offer and all inclusive package that is really great. Agave works with some of the top vendors in Houston. Jessie (Edible designs be Jessie) made us an even better cake than I expected. Tawnya (Agave Floral) was creative, and was willing to go over the proposal several times with me so we could fit my budget. Ivan was our DJ, and he was great! There was never a lull on the dance floor. The invitations and programs that are included are top notch. We had Corua catering, which was delicious and filling.
Cons: I found out later that my mom and sister had to request the Agave team to perform several tasks that should have been already taken care of- the salad dressing was not originally included at the buffet, they did not cut the cake until asked, they had to be told twice to put spoons at the dessert bar, they mistook my LED lights in my glass lateens as candles and tried to light them on fire- burning the lanterns. When I brought these concerns to their attention, I was told my concerns were generally overstated.
What I was actually most disappointed about was that they were unable to get my DVD with our pictures to replay on their DVD player. None of my guests saw our photos :( I totally AGREE with them that it probably had something to do with my DVD's formatting, but I really wish they had told me during the reception. Perhaps we could have come up with a solution together (like opening and closing the DVD player in between cycles or turning off and turning on the DVD player).
I had a wonderful experience with having our wedding at Agave Road. Its a beautiful venue with a wonderful staff and they make it so easy to plan a beautiful wedding. We had a couple hiccups along the way with planning, but i think i was being a bit of a bridezilla! Once we got the communication flowing well between myself, my mother and the wedding coordinator (Grace) everything went along seamlessly. The night was perfect in almost every way, and if I had it to do all over again I'd pick Agave Road again.
This venue was GORGEOUS!! The staff made everything so easy for my big day! Alli did all the work coordinating with my other vendors and even set up all my decorations the morning of the wedding leaving nothing for us to do but worry about getting ready! All my guests told me how beautiful my wedding was. I am nothing but pleased :)
I got married at Agave Real. This venue is beautiful. Leading up to the wedding, it was often hard to in touch with and get answers from my wedding coordinator, but we figured it out. On the day of the wedding, our wedding coordinator set all our stuff out for us in the reception area, which was so helpful, but she wasn't able to figure out how many people were sitting at each table even though she had all the place cards. There were people at the reception without chairs. Small mistake, but this could have been avoided. Two of my guests got annoyed and sat at the bar. =(
The bridal suite was phenomenal... although the mimosa's were terrible.
It was raining on the day of my wedding, but let up RIGHT before the ceremony was to begin. The venue worked hard to dry the ground, which was amazing because getting married outside was so important to me. Drinks at the reception are small and they won't allow you to have shots. You can also not, under any circumstances, bring alcohol from outside.... which sucked because we needed a special wine for the jewish parts of our ceremony.
This venue also ends up being very expensive. It's "all-inclusive" and you pay the all-inclusive price... and then you find out about all the upgrades. Unless you want black and white linens, absolutely nothing special, plain cake, well liquor, boring invitations, their DJ, no past hors d'oeuvres, etc... you will end up spending a lot on upgrades.
During our reception, the manager went up to my dad THREE times claiming was had 147 people when our limit was 125. For one, we did NOT have 147 people (which he later stated was 135 or something), but going up to the father of the bride three times (taking my father away from the guests) saying the same thing (but also stating he wasn't going to charge extra for it) is ridiculous and inappropriate!!!
In the end though, our wedding was outstanding and I couldn't have hoped for a better evening.
We went to Agave Estates to order invitations. They were very professional and I received my order withhin a week of ordering them. I went into a romm with lots of books with invitations. They do custom invitations and order ones from books. I told the staff member what I was looking for and she opened the books and showed me what they had. We put labels on the ones I liked. After looking through the books we then went back through to find the ones I wanted. She was very helpful. Also in the invitation room you could also order bridesmaids and grooms gifts. I also ordered napkins from them I received them the same time I received my invitations. I woulld recommend them to anyone. Even if you are not using Agave has your vendor, you can still order invitations from them.
I was so happy and excited to get married at this venue. The service for wedding was excellent and very organized. The only disappointing factor of the venue is that the staff was a little unorganized and did not respond to things in a timely manner. My overall experience of the venue is, a phenomenal experience for any bride and groom! Thank you so much for the great time and a great wedding!
Agave Road is the most beautiful venue and made our wedding the night of our dreams!
We booked the new Agave Real venue and it made all the difference! When we booked, the venue was still under construction and the finished product far exceeded our every expectation. The staff is so committed to making your day special! Especially our coordinator Audrey. She wen out of her way to make sure everything went off without a hitch. The all-inclusive pricing was a life saver! It made everything so much easier and less stressful. The only con was how far the venue is from where we live downtown. It was about 45 minutes each way and I had to go out there multiple times to get everything done. But it was definitely worth the trouble!
Agave definitely offered one of the most complete packages around. We would have chosen them if we hadn't lucked out and secured a free venue!
