Angelus was the first (and turned out to be the only) Bridal store I visited in the fall of 2012. As I started picking out dresses to try on (of course the saying is true, I ended up getting the first one I laid eyes on)... I was greeted by CoCo and David. Before I go on, let me say that they *MADE* my dress buying experience. They not only helped me find what i was requesting, but also what looked best for my body type, but were blatenly honest with what fit, both me, and what I described as my wedding venue. It wasn't stressful; completely fun! I kept in touch with David via text in the months approaching the wedding since i was out of state and everything went off without a hitch. Reina did my alternations in-house-- she was fabulous as well! To this day, EVERYONE talks about "the dress"! They worked with my budget as well
I had tried on gowns at Angelus and they were very helpful and friendly. They have ladies at the back of the store who alter gowns. Reina and her assistant were amazing! My dress fit like glove and they were very fast and efficient. Very afforable as well.
Rhonda the salesperson was great! She took her time and was very nice. The selection is plenty and my dress was delivered within a month to the store. I had it steamed there and ready for me days before the wedding!
Went to Angelus as a bridesmaid for a bride that had purchased her dress there. I fell in love with a wedding dress for myself elsewhere, but Rhonda was soo awesome and warm that I ended up loving a dress she showed me and purchasing on the spot. Since that day, I have had NOTHING BUT HORRIBLE from Angelus. My dress came in perfectly , approximately two months after I ordered it, and there were no visible blemishes on the dress itself. I have pictures!!! So I left it at Angelus, assuming they would take good care of it. WRONG! I went in 2 weeks ago to pick up aforementioned bridesmaid dress and decided why not try my wedding gown on too?! Good thing I did. The dress had several Pee yellow stains all over the lace and bodice of my dress! Stains that were apparent right upon unzipping the fabric bag. and hmmmm if it were kept in a fabric bag and got stained, one would assume the bag would have some sort of tinge as well? NOPE! nothing on the bag. Basically they stained my gown while it wasn't in the garment bag... my paid for gown was taken out of the bag... for what reason? Nobody there could tell me. Not even the owner, who told me that me and all 5 of my bridesmaids and two of his associates must have missed the gargantuan urine looking spots on my gown the first time I tried it on..... Awesome customer service, right? -_-. To make matters worse, they told me that there was not enough time to order me a new gown and that they would have to try to get the stains out themselves. It is July, my wedding is September 13th..... No time? So basically they ripped all the lace off of the bodice and cleaned the gown then reapplied new lace at the store... not the dress designer's craftsmanship... but of course, I still had to pay for the designer's work for Angelus' seamstress' stitches.. It looks fine which is the important part , but the owner couldn't even be bothered to be there the day I picked it up stating "I'm Jewish, I don't work Saturdays".... Not even the seamstress could be bothered to deliver the dress downstairs to me herself should there be an issue with it. They offered me no discount, no compensation, not even an apology for the damage done to my dress. STAY AWAY FROM ANGELUS! The prices are good, that I can not argue. But the staff, besides Rhonda is terrible. SO if you go, be sure to schedule with her! Who I gather to be the manager there, is another piece of work who yelled at me for sitting on their chair in my gown because the chair was "probably dirty".... why do you have dirty chairs in the bridal area with brides trying on their gowns and getting a feel for how to move and sit in it? Gross, absolutely disgusting.
I am sorry you feel this way, after everything we did for you to fix the problem on your dress.
Unfortunately some of the stuff you wrote on your review is untrue.
For everyone to know, this is what really happened to Vanessa:
Great price and first time discount. They ordered the wrong size dress and was able to order the correct size and get it in time for alteration and the wedding. Rhonda the store manager is sweet, kind, patient, compassionate and very understanding.
When I came to this dress shop, I at first wasn't sure I wanted to go in because the outside looks very run-down. I went in anyway and was greeted by a very friendly older woman. She helped me try on a couple dresses, but encouraged me to try on the dress I really liked, but was a little out of my price range. The dress happened to be $200 less at this dress shop compared to somewhere else I tried it on. I decided on getting the dress, and she also gave me a 20% discount on my purchases including my veil, jacket, blusher and wedding gown. The service after my first visit was not very good. I ordered my dress in July and did not come in until the end of December. My veil did not come in until two weeks before my wedding date and I also ordered it 8 months before my wedding. Everytime I called and they said they would call me back, they never did. Good service in the beginning and not so good at the end. The Alterations place in the back called "alterations by Reina" was amazing service. They don't speak a lot of english, but everything was on time and my dress and jacket came out wonderfully.
Angelus had exactly what I was looking for. Rhonda actually listened to what I wanted and pulled out my fairytale dress. The prices are reasonable and the turnaround was quick.
The staff at Angelus Bridal is amazing. They were so helpful while I was trying on TONS of dresses before finding the perfect one. I fell in love with one dress, but thought it was too revealing for the ceremony. The owner came by and helped come up with an idea that I ended up LOVING when it was finally completed. Very knowledgeable staff, very professional and extremely affordable. Highly recommend.
They had the dress that i wanted- but the service was not great. After they get your money they don't care to be nice.
When I walked in the door I saw the dress that I wanted and bought it! Rhonda was awesome with me! I did try on 10 dresses and left with the first choice!
I LOVED my dress. I showed my consultant pictures of what I wanted and she came back with multiple options to choose from. She gave honest opinions and wasn't just trying to sell me every dress I tried on which I appreciated. Only downside was they kept pushing me to buy the blusher for my veil even when I kept telling him I did not want it. Overall, very happy
I loved my dress! I only wish I could wear it again. Everyone at the store was patient and extremely helpful.
I found the perfect dress for a beach wedding here. The price was very reasonable. I came in with a certain budget and was shown only dresses in that budget. Service was OK. I had better service at other shops, but happen to fall in love with the dress here. I also got my veil from this shop.
I walked into Angelus Bridal with intentions of just looking at swatches for my bridesmaids dresses. I still hadn't found my own dress and learned that they carried bridal gowns from the designer I had been searching for.
Rhonda was the first person to greet me and I have to say that she was absolutely AMAZING!!! I got to try on 4 dresses today by Mori Lee. I am in a woman's size (18-20) bridal gown and was concerned about not being able to try on the dresses because they wouldn't have my size. But Angelus bridal has a very large selection in all sizes. All of the dresses that Rhonda pulled for me fit me like a glove and looked so gorgeous. I felt glamorous in each of them. I loved that my problem today was "which one do I choose" and not "they don't have it in my size to try on".
With Rhonda's help, I found my dress today! The staff at Angelus Bridal are all so friendly. But I personally think I hit the jackpot with Rhonda, not only was she great at knowing which dresses to pull to flatter my figure, we also had a great time today. I had my "say yes to the dress" experience. I really enjoyed Rhonda so much.
And while at Angelus Bridal today, I visited with their in house floral vendor and ordered my flowers and also did a cake tasting which was delicious! I will be booking my next appointment with the cake vendor!
Oh and one last thing, the owner of this store invented a strapless bra that you will fall in love with. No back fat, full lift and support, and a flattened waist line. I couldn't believe it!
My dress is beautiful and it wasn't crazy expensive. Service at Angelus was great! They worked with my budget which was $2000. The alteration department which is owned by Reina is spectacular, every one is super sweet and accommodating!!! The whole store is very understanding and accommodating. I recommend Angelus for any bride!!!

Coco helped me find the perfect dress for me. He even stayed opened after hours. Every time I came into the store he recognized me and gave me big hug every time. I recommend this place to all my friends.

We came to this store first for looking at dresses and found one right away. The discontinued gowns available made me able to afford the designer I wanted. The staff was great during this initial visit but was difficult to work with on future visits when things did not go well.
We're so happy you could find the dress of your dreams at our store. Customer service is our number one priority, and we apologize that our staff did not deliver. Thank you for your review!

This is a great place to shop for a wedding dress. But what makes it even better is Rhonda, the sales person. Rhonda knows how to pick your dress style, help you decide when you are undecisive and walks you through every dress if need be. If you want an "honest" opinion, Rhonda is your girl and don't go to this shop without seeing her. You will be greatly pleased and her personality matches her smile. Just "beautiful". The only problem i have with this shop, is the owner doesn't offer much of a discount when you buy multiple items in the store. That's the only downfall to the bridal shop. If you are buying multiple dresses, there should be more of a discount. He has a jewel in "Rhonda" and he needs to realize it.
I found the gown of my dreams at Angelus Bridal. I had been to 3 other shops that day when I went to Angelus. The lady that helped me asked me what I was looking at and I showed her some pictures of the dresses I had tried on at the other shops. She said "oh hunny, you are too young and beautiful for those dresses." She picked 3 and sent me to the dressing room. I came out in the first one, me and my mom starting crying and it was bought in 15 minutes. They were helpful, professional, and well within my budget! I definitely recommend them:)
We're thrilled to know that we could help you find the dress of your dreams. You looked absolutely stunning. We'd love for you to send us a picture from your wedding day.

I first went to Angelus Bridal with my family to try on a dresses. It was surprising to find the shop in a not-so-nice area. But we went in anyways and were pleasantly surprised to find a good selection of dresses.
The woman helping me was curt, but helpful and didn't mind slipping me into a dress multiple times. We found the perfect dress on the first visit. We went in March., 11 months before my wedding. We were told my dress would be in in a few months (about 3). By July, I thought maybe I should call to find out where my dress was. It was on it's way I was told. It made it there by August(5 months later).
I went down in October to get fitted and have alterations. The alterations would take a few weeks (8 or so). The alterations lady seemed knowledgeable and said she would add buttons for my bustle and would take in part of the dress, etc. etc. etc.
I didn't worry about my dress. Little did I know that I should have. I went back down to pick up my dress a few months later thinking that the alterations would be done. This was 1 months before my wedding. None of the alterations were done!! I was freaking out!!
The woman said that she could have the alterations done the next day and my maid of honor said she would make the 1 hour drive again to get it. SO, I had to get back into the dress and have the woman re-measure me for the alterations (she hadn't even kept the ones from before).
Well, things were looking good because I had lost about 5 pounds from the previous fitting and she was going to have to take part of the dress in she was previously going to let out (YAY!)
My maid of honor got the dress the next day and I went to try in on. I couldn't believe it...she let out the part she was supposed to take in!! The dress didn't fit at all! It literally fell off!
In the end we had to go to another seamstress two weeks before the wedding and get it taken in. Thank goodness she knew what she was doing!
