I was very happy with the service of Bella Pictures, and liked the fact that my husband and I got to choose from photos and then a photographer was assigned to us who matched that style. However, be sure to review the photographer who you are matched with before your approve the choice just in case. I was very happy with my experience and the staff, however the website is very difficult to use so my advise is to call Bella directly, they are very helpful with any questions. Also, if you want unlimited hours/coverage this is probably not a cheaper option that some of the other photography packages out there that might include 2 shooters and video with unlimited coverage for example.
We scored a great deal for 2 photographers and a videographer, and we could not have been happier. Ethan and Jake did a wonderful job shooting our wedding. They understood what we were looking for and took pictures at neat locations. I cannot wait to see how it came out! Derek did a great job filming our wedding--he captured all of the important moments and all of the fun on the dance floor!
Bella Pictures were great. They worked around our budget and we received a lot for the price. I liked how things were done online. For example I could rate pictures that I liked and my ratings were used to help determine our photographer. Planning was also online. They answered most of my questions immediately and our photographer Jonathan was amazing. He followed through with most of our requests and was very laid back. He is more of a photo journalist which is nice because we did not want to take too many posing pictures. We can't wait to see all of the pictures

We had a little mix up with the photographer in getting to our venue but overall it was a good experience. We bought the largest package with full editing so we are looking forward to seeing all the pictures.
Our photographer from Bella Pictures, Jay Bryant, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He knew which shots to get and when! He arrived on time, and was accommodating to all of our wishes and requests. The candid shots and portraits are beautiful. He was also happy to "go with the flow" when some plans had to change during the day due to weather issues. However, there were some moments that were missed. Be sure to specify everything you want to capture, even if you just realize you'd like that picture during your big day!
TERRIBLE! My husband and I were short of time and Bella offered us a decent price. We were skeptical about using them and I really wish we didn’t. They ask you to rate 200 pictures to pair you up with a photographer, which I did. Our hired photographer called me a week prior to the wedding to get details. He was a little rude on the phone, but what can you do a week before the wedding date? He showed up at my house the day of and I introduced myself. He immediately said, “What do you want pictures of”…1st of all, I already told him this. 2nd, it’s his job to instruct me since I’m all flustered anyway. 3rd, how about a “hello, I’m so and so, nice to meet you.” Our photographer was completely unprofessional throughout our family and friends pictures. At one point, he yelled at my husband, in turn my husband yelled back which caused a look of disgust on his face in our portraits.
As a bride, you are busy with the day and I didn’t think anything of it when I barely saw him all day. He was hired from 3-10pm and I only have 342 pictures, most of which I am completely unhappy with. Most companies produce at the least over 500 to pick and choose from. I put in a complaint to the company and had to write a book on why I was unhappy. I dealt with one man who worked there, Brandon, who really kept me sane throughout the process was wonderful. However, his supervisor denied my complaint and only gave me more print credits and upgrade to my album. Oh that’s great so I have an upgrade to my album but hate all the pictures…ok, so I picked mostly guest photos (which you can upload towards your album). And now I’m dealing with a new person. Are you crazy! Brandon was the only person at Bella that I liked! I now get the attitude in emails from this girl they have assigned to our case. Unbelievable.
I picked 60 pictures for the album and just sent my 3rd request to have it changed (Our wedding date was almost 7 months ago). They rave about how you can have there “art” department alter pics for you, but be prepared to spend $40 per picture. This company is a joke. Don’t waste your money and spend it on a “professional.”
They shouldn't even get one "star" in my review..
When I went to meet w/ the Bella representative I was blown away by the books she showed me. She assured me that my photographer would be local AND if I didn't like them, I could change. I was given my photographer two months before my wedding. I didn't like her portfolio. My request to change my photographer was ignored. By the time they listened to me, it was too late. I then had to travel 1 hour from my home to meet with said photographer for a 15 minute meeting to tell her all my wishes and desires for my wedding day. I was so flustered after getting lost driving 1 hour to meet with my LOCAL photographer that I forgot to tell her to take more pictures of me and my mother than of my sister in law's cat. I had 3-7 contacts at Bella so communication with them was NOT easy. They tell you that you will get the personalized feeling of a local photographer but you don't. My photographer was impersonal and she didn't care about my day. My photo's are crap. I paid almost $4000 for this photographer - for 10 hours on my wedding day and I got crap. If any bride to be wants to view my album before going with Bella - please let me know. I will have no problem sharing. I will admit there are SOME good shots BUT my friend who basically followed me around all day taking pictures took BETTER pictures and I didn't pay her a dime. Please please please do not repeat my mistake! Interview a dozen photographers. Find someone who CARES about you and your day. Make a specific list of photos that you WANT taken. If your photographer says they "understand what you want" ... write it down anyway. Many of my guests told me I had the best wedding they had ever been to BUT my photographer sucked so bad I don't even care about getting my album. How much does that suck? I want your day to be captured and for you to have amazing photos! If you are in NJ (South) do not use Bella because you might get the photographer I used and guess what? Bella doesn't care that I got crappy photo's. Oh they are giving me a $300 credit to FIX the crappy photos that their photographer took. BLECH Use someone else!!!
One star rating only because this site doesn't let you give zero stars. I entered my contact information on a whim when a friend sent me a link about a wedding photo package sweepstakes from Bella. BIG mistake. I've been stalked continuously for two months, even after asking repeatedly that the company remove my name and contact information from their database. They are incredibly unprofessional. I wouldn't let them document my wedding day if they were the last photographers left on the planet. I would rather have no pictures than pay them to continue their scam.
Our pictures came out amazing! I was a little nervous about not knowing who our photographer was until a few weeks before the wedding, but once we met I had no more worries.
I was really unhappy with the engagement photos and tried to get out of our contract but couldn't. They assigned us a new photographer less than 3 months before the date (which gave me such anxiety) but she turned out being great... I was lucky. I would recommend hiring a photographer that you can talk to and see their work to avoid the anxiety I went through.
I used Bella for my wedding and was very pleased. The customer service can use a little work but the photographers are amazing! There was a huge snow storm and my main photographer got stuck. Bella had my second photographer and a back up there as promised! I havent seen the pictures yet but knowing the experience we had with them the day of the wedding, I am sure they will be great!

the sales rep was great and helpful the entire time. problem is she had to be. inside c/s had a tag line on their email they'd get back to you in 72 hours, and i never wanted to wait 3 days. i also felt that they never read my email completely before responding and i had a hard time getting someone on the phone.
Photographers and videographer were very professional and unobtrusive.
It's been two and a half weeks since our wedding and i have to wait 28 dayts to see the first pictures.
We loved our photographer assigned to us from Bella. She was very friendly! Not all the photos were that great, but overall the experience was good. In the process of creating our photo album...seems okay.
My fiancée signed up for Bella Pictures after we had a discussion & initial meeting with Jamie Robertie, sales representative with Bella Pictures on Friday, July 30th at 9 am in Cherry Hill, NJ (267-918-7223 & [email protected]). Our initial meeting Jamie explain that Bella pictures has access to over 700 professional photographers that meet our high expectation. Paul was very specific in our needs: 1) Pictures taken will be handed over in both RAW and JPEG format for our own use. 2) We are looking for a photographer that has an artistic approach for excellent background pictures, unique styles & suggestions, close up and candid photography. We were not looking for a portfolio photographer. 3) Photography must be familiar with a local approach photographer style in Haddonfield, NJ with scenic shots around town which we have submitted an example to: http://www.christopher-photography.com/ . 4) Fun & creative with the pictures & wedding party is involved with the photographer. 5) There is lots of light and color in the photographer Jamie Robertie agreed that Bella pictures will be able to achieve our high expectations, therefore, my fiancee signed up online. I did not personally review any of the information or contract. In the meantime, Paul’s father was extremely sick in the hospital but were able with the confidence of Bella pictures based on the works and the promises given my Jamie Robertie. Jamie also knew our wedding was close approaching, set for Sunday, September 19th and continued to guarantee an excellent professional photographer with urgency. Paul signup online on August 3rd. We immediately completed our personalized wedding expectations that Bella pictures provided for us online. There were many glitches in their server online, after submitting the questionnaire, their website scripts would not take our answers per some technical difficulties that Bella pictures admitted to you. Our online photographer and video planners were completed on August 11th due to Bella Pictures website technical difficulties and log in problems. Our new contact person at Bella pictures is Melissa Hill, [email protected] or 888.556.7590, x5170 who is the team lead person to help us with the wedding planning process. While she was helpful, she was never available via phone to help me and seemed to be playing phone tag with each other after I left several voice mail messages. At one point, after we had technical difficulties with Bella pictures web site, she thought our online process hasn’t been completed while we did complete the process online. Melissa Hill delayed in getting back with a quick response (usually 1-2 business days), she did not respond after I contacted her on August 6th, she finally responded by email on August 13th ( 1 week later). We were urgently waiting for our assignments, which again took approx. 6 additional days after we contacted them and the confusion about finishing our online planner due to technical difficulties. Once again, Paul called out to them and talked to another representative Joanna. Melissa Hill finally responded by email back to me on August 13th, stating the assignments are underway. She stated, “I should have photographer portfolio and biophage for you to review by Wednesday of next week…” Melissa Hill did not contact me after I emailed her the following week on Thursday, August 19th, asking our assignment photographer so we can review
The photographer got a lot of cool shots. She also wasn't all up in my face the whole night either. And the pictures were awesome looking. But they were a bit pricy but you got a lot for your money. And all the rights to the pictures.
