i could not of asked for a more perfect day but what i got was beyond perfect
thanks to Eric and everyone at Crest Hollow!!! Eric is the best banquet manager you can ask for!!! he goes beyond any means to help you out with your special day!!!! i am sooooo happy that i was able to work with Eric for my wedding!!! My ceremony outside in the Italian gardens was sooooo beautiful and amazing my husband and i were soooo happy with everything. Carol was great she helped me out soooo much with my dress flowers and even my shoes they were killing me feet!! lololol!!! Rich was amazing he made sure all my guest were comfortable and got everything and anything they needed or wanted!!! the Service at crest hollow is better than any other place i have ever been too!!!! the food at cocktail our and dinner was amazing!!!!!! My cake was beautiful and delicious and every single dessert at viense hour was sooooo amazing the best food i ever had from any wedding venue!!!! we are soooo happy that we choose to have our wedding at Crest hollow!!! the grounds are beautiful the pool is gorgeous especially at nite!!!!! i recommend that everyone and anyone should have there wedding or any party there you will not be disappointed!!!!
I could not have asked for a better place to have my ceremony and reception! My banquet manager was Eric and he was amazing very dedicated had so much patience and helped us every step of the way! The food at the cocktail hour was great the food at reception was even better! The staff went well above and beyond what I had expected of them it was such a perfect day! The venue itself was beautiful inside and out we got many great pictures! Also my bridal attendant Carol was great she held my bouquet for me carried the back of my dress even helped me to use the bathroom which I was worried how I would do that with all the layers of dress and my slip! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place with amazing memories to be married at! I especially recommend Eric Sauer as banquet manager to help with your planning and Carol as your bridal attendant they both were great! We have gotten so many compliments on the service of the staff and how great the food was!
we would highly recommend crest hollow. they put on several events per day, and usually 3 simultaneous, which at first caused us hesitation, but the truth is, they are PROS. they really know what they're doing and space things out time-wise and physically to make sure no events or guests are overlapping, and they make you and your guests feel like you're the only event going on at a time or even that day. The food is outstanding, cocktail hour is mindblowing. The staff are amazing, especially day of. The bridal assistance is there to help you the entire day, even though you don't meet her til day of, she knows everything and is the most helpful part of the day, as is the Matre D for the groom. Our banquet manager Marc worked closely with us and over the course of several months leading up to the wedding got to know what our likes and dislikes were, our expectations and scheduling issues and was really patient with us. He communicated well with all of our other vendors, and we could really trust that everything would turn out perfectly in the end, even though the process itself is naturally so stressful. The venue is beautiful, clean, well maintained. Our guests were all so impressed. The pricing was within range of the average pricing for venues in the NY area (you get more for your value than you would in manhattan, and about the same for most of the knot-rated vendors on long island and westchester.... we considered all 3 locations and out of the 20ish places we visited among the 3 locations, Crest Hollow won out in every regard.
From the moment we walked through the doors on our wedding day, my husband, myself and our families were treated like royalty. The venue is beautiful, the staff, especially Ralph the Maitre d, were amazing. The food was superb- and there was lots of it. The drinks were wonderful and the dessert was amazing. I am so glad we got married here. Despite the fact that one bathroom and the possibility of several events seems to put people off, Crest Hollow is a great choice.
Helen was great to work with during the planning process. The place was a little pricey but somewhat flexible. Our family and friends were impressed with the staff and delicious food. More specifically our Bridal Attendant, Diana was wonderful. She was very personable, friendly, and on top of things throughout the day. The only negative I would say is that some of the décor needs updating (like the hideous chairs!) but I would surely recommend the CHCC to others for their events.
I will preface this review by saying that my husband and I had an AMAZING time, everything was delicious and beautiful. Unfortunately, if I had to go back, I would probably select another venue. Leo was my banquet manager..he was very nice, but very inflexible in the negotiating aspect, which I found to be shady. They provided what they provided, and any single change/extra thing was an extra charge. I wanted 1 stationary bar and 1 rolling instead of the 2 "rolling bars" that they included, which was an extra $300. The cake that they include comes exactly as is-All i wanted was for them to smooth out the icing design and apply a few ribbons/embellishments-they charged me $150 to smooth and apply ribbons that I PURCHASED and provided!!! They also tried to pull a fast one with the alcohol on the day of, saying that Corona and Heineken were not included in the "package that I selected" ....no option was ever given to me, or I would have chosen the highest one (after all the money I had already blown on a Saturday night wedding, why would I skimp?). Of course after they were called out on their lie, the Corona and Heineken magically appeared. The bridal suite wasn't available (without an extra charge!!) before 4:30, and my ceremony started at 630. I refused to give them another extra dime, and thus, my pictures were extremely rushed and didn't have a lot of variety. I'm not even wearing lipcolor in a majority of my pictures because there was no time to freshen up :( My bridal attendant, (I think her name was) Marina, was rigid and nasty and really stressful to deal with on a day that was already nerve-wracking. She wouldn't let anyone else fix me, insisting she was an expert in bustling, only to have my bustle come undone-I looked like a hot mess during my reception. Luckily, I was having such a great time dancing that I stopped worrying about my appearance. My MOH told me she tried to fix it and got yelled at by Marina. After my mother spoke to her, she became nicer and stopped being nasty to my bridal party. I also received complaints about one of the very old, very miserable bartenders being cranky to guests.
I also had no idea that I would be sharing my outdoor cocktail hour with another party across the pool. When I asked, I was told I wouldn't be able to see any other parties going on.
Although we (and all of my guests) still had the time of their lives, I would have rather spent the money elsewhere and been the only bride, not an after-thought.
I cannot express how amazing my wedding was and how attentive the staff at Crest Hollow was. Every single detail was beyond perfect. The staff handled every thing in a professional manner; no one had an attitude, everyone was gracious. My guests have been raving non-stop about the quality of the food, from the beef to the fish and everything in between. By far the best part of booking Crest Hollow was my bridal attendant, Marina. Words cannot express what a wonderful job she did. She was an absolute angel and could not do enough to help me. She was there whenever I needed anything and anticipated anytime I needed help. I only hope other brides can enjoy their weddings as much as I enjoyed my own. There was nothing wrong: nothing to stress over. Booking Crest Hollow for our wedding was easily one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding process!
Crest Hollow is a beautiful location with excellent service for your wedding. They don't call it a wedding factory for no reason! They are a truly well oiled machine working for each couple to have a great day. We did have more than one banquet manager during the planning process. I am ultimately happy we ended up with Costanza. Attentive and helpful from when she started with us. She wasn't there the day of our wedding which I thought was odd but everything at the venue went smoothly despite of that. Our guests had a great time and raved over the food and the overall beauty of the venue. I am looking forward to being a guest next summer at a wedding there which the couple choose after attending our wedding!!
First off our Banquet Manager Helen: AVOID AT ALL COST!! I'm not sure if that's other venues are the same but they lure you to book with them in the beginning then try to rip you off towards the end. We've inquired many times early for quotes on specific decorations like draping and chair covers. All we kept getting was "I don't know" and "It depends". How could she not know? She pretty much won't tell you anything until the party planning meeting when you have no time to look for other vendors.
Helen was not helpful at all during the party planning meeting. Pretty much sat there and did not explain anything besides taking our choices for the menu. We had to plan everything ourselves and gave her specific instructions of how we want things set up which she agreed to do.
BUT we've dropped off boxes of our own decorations the day before and specifically told them not to do anything until we arrive on our wedding day. Of course when we got there, all our boxes were opened and scattered into different areas. They've also rearranged and misplaced everything within our boxes making us scrambling all morning to locate things in the different areas. The set up instructions we gave during the party planning meeting were not followed at all. We've told matron'd to move things several times but he only did it at the very last minute right before when our ceremony was about to start.
The bridal suite was not safe at all. They claim only a few specific people know the code to get in but any staff was able to get people in. When we inquired, they stated that the password is changed every two weeks?!? Shouldn't it change every time there's an event? Also, they opened the door while we were in the middle of changing. Dont they know how to knock?
Overall, the food was good and bridal attendant was helpful. The matron'd tried to accommodate us. Helen, horrible. They need to give you direct answers earlier, follow instructions and have better security.
Was so excited when first went for appointment and then when came back to book appointment with my mom and future mother in law, was very embarrassed to hear that the price was now raised with the number of heads I was originally told. Instead of the Mgr telling me she made a mistake, she was absolutely rude and not helpful. Finally after 2 phone calls Lauren admitted she was wrong and made a mistake. She told me she was so frustrated that it was just not worth it. Not worth it.. well you are in the wrong job. No apology at all and just said nothing she can do. I spoke to the Banquet manager and to my surprise he wouldn't honor the pricing I was originally given. I had this on paper and was really annoyed. If the Manager can't even get the pricing right , how are they going to manage my wedding!! I've never been mistreated so bad from a vendor and would not recommend this place... .that is unless you don't mind them scamming you. Unacceptable!!
This place is beautiful, the staff is amazing and they helped me with my wedding every step of the way. I was always able to get in contact with my banquet manager constanza at all times, fyi she is amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place that gets the job done. They remembered to do things without me even telling them.
My wedding at Crest Hollow was almost perfect. Leo was my banquet manager and he was a little hard to reach at times but when he did respond he was very knowledgeable and helpful. My bridal attendant was Diana and she was A +++! She bustled my dress for me, brought me drinks, and told me everything I needed to do. She made it as stress-free as possible. There was only thing that drove me crazy about the day. It sounds like a small/petty thing but it actually really upset me. The waiters/waitresses were clearing the appetizer plates as the speeches were being given by my maid of honor and the best man. You could not hear a word they were saying over the CRASH! CLINK! CRASH! of the dishes. No one at the wedding could hear a thing. I was almost in tears. Could they not stop clearing for the maybe FOUR MINUTES it took for the speeches?!?! One of my friends tried to talk to the maitre d' but by then the speeches were basically over. Other than this, it was a great day. A lot of my friends had great things to say about the food and the bartenders were great. Crest Hollow is one of the very few venues ANYWHERE that allows guests to choose from a full menu of 9 different entree choices. No tacky entree selections on the reply card necessary! The bridal suite was very nice and they had food waiting for my husband and I after the ceremony, and champagne. I really had a great day and overall Crest Hollow did an incredible job. Just maybe request no clearing during the speeches...
I just had my wedding at Crest Hollow, and have already been to a few others there in the past. I am always amazed by the beautiful rooms, outstanding cocktail hour, and breathtaking grounds. The outdoor areas are unbelievable and perfect for photos. Our coordinator, Mitch, was on top of every detail throughout the planning process and was even there the day of the wedding. My attendant as well as my fiance's attendant were incredibly helpful and always there when we needed them. They took care of everything for us and made our wedding day stress free. Crest Hollow helped to make our wedding the most perfect day.
Fantastic venue! We had so many compliments from the atmosphere to the food every thing was perfect. There staff that helped us all night were by our side for any request and guided us so we made the most of our night. Very professional they made everything fantastic ! It's a must see before you book your venue

This venue was gorgeous and the staff was very professional but I feel there were many hidden charges(seat covers, upgrading cake) that we did not know about until about a month before the wedding. But other than that we loved every bit of the wedding!
Crest Hollow is very professional and a great place to have a large wedding. The only thing is they Nickle and Dime you. You have to pay extra for seat covers, outdoor use, and other hidden fees that they do not tell you up front.
Working with CHCC was great, everything was perfect and the venue is beautiful!
We started looking late for most couple, 10 months prior, and it was a holiday weekend, Columbus Day, but CHCC made it happen when all other halls werent available. Luckily they were my first choice anyway as my parents had got married there 33 years prior. Everything was flawless and we heard rave reviews from every guest. If anything went wrong I had no idea then and to this day have no idea. Everything I wanted and then some they made happen. I plan on using them for all big events in our lives. Lisa was my attendant and she was amazing. Leo took care of all the arrangements as my consultant and I couldnt have asked for someone better!!

The food was appetizing and service was great
He suggested JackRose's flowers who were so nice and helpful the flowers actually made the wedding.
So did the chocolate fountain too
