Susanne W. from Journeys of the heart was the most amazing part of our day! But what made her so incredible was that the warmth and kindness started from the first time we contacted her. We live in Florida, but planned the wedding for Pennsylvania, which made our process a little different. But I didn't feel for a second that we were slighted the opportunity to connect with her. She was available anytime for a phone call or email and had fun and sweet ways for us to give her "our story" where she really listened about the two of us but also our family and friends. She crafted our ceremony along with us and gave us many ideas and examples to use. We were able to bring in ideas that we had and make each second so special and personal. As she spoke she brought about so much emotion and really was passionate about what was important to us. So many of our guests said that it was THE MOST romantic and sweet ceremony they had ever been to. We felt that we knew her forever. After the ceremony she even stayed to wish us off and mingle with a few guests, making her even more like family. We would recommend Susanne over and over again! But you would be so lucky and blessed to work with anyone.

Susanne was our officiant and offered options (not an overwhelming amount) to guide us and help us figure out our vows. She was amazing. Our vows were very personal and meaningful thanks to her.

We were very fortunate to have Dianne Smith-Hoban officiate our wedding. We met her at a punk-rock wedding expo and her positive personality drew us to her. Throughout the whole process she provided guidance and offered great suggestions for the ceremony, including wonderful options for vows, and you can tell that she genuinely cares. We incorporated many of her recommendations into our non-traditional wedding and it was really beautiful. On the day of she came prepared with everything to make the event stress free, which is what you want in a vendor on days like that, and was great at making sure everyone involved knew where they needed to be. She handled all of our guests with great care and her positive, friendly and caring personality shined through during the ceremony. We can’t recommend her enough.

We worked with Al for our small ceremony. We only invited immediate family. He wrote a lovely ceremony and helped us with the vows. He was easy to work with.

We used Journeys of the Heart for our wedding ceremony as we needed an Officiant to perform the service. We met with Heidi Minich beforehand to get to know each other better and to help decide if this was in deed the path we wanted to go. We knew after that day that she was a perfect fit. We appreciated her kind, confident, and soothing personality. She made us feel confident too as there were at times questions we did not know quite how to answer. The ceremony is such an important part of everyones wedding and we felt that she was not judgmental in the decisions or questions we had. She included such a touching reflection to our ceremony that encompassed our relationship history and personal appreciations for each other. Heidi was so easy to talk to and get to know. She made the time to help us along the way and even reassured us that she would be there that morning to make sure all went smooth. We felt our guests were touched and impressed with the experience they encountered as well. Thank you so so much!

We chose Journeys on a whim - we liked a picture of a nice looking man with a nice biography. What we ended up with was a terrific guy that made our wedding very special. Wilson Kratz was very professional and set up an appointment to meet with us at Starbucks. Upon meeting him, he gave us a binder with hundreds of options for customizing our ceremony. We went over everything and he left us to figure out exactly how we wanted it to go. Once we finalized everything on our side, all I had to do was email him our choices and he helped us edit it until it was perfect. On the day of our wedding he delivered every line just like we hoped it would be and he was very personable, warm and charming. We felt like we really knew him and we'd only met once before. We were absolutely impressed with Wilson and by default - Journeys. We will definitely recommend him!!

We had Jim Haley as our officiant. He had some creative ideas for vows and worked with us to create a ceremony that was exactly what we wanted. I'd highly recommend him. The only downfall is that journeys of the heart was expensive, although we did not shop around so I'm not sure if they cost more than anywhere else.

Maria-Odilia Romeu from Journeys of the Heart was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! She helped us create a ceremony that was personal and meaningful. Several guests told me it was the most touching and romantic ceremony they've ever been too. She ran the rehearsal beautifully, everyone left feeling secure in what they were doing but still having had a lot of fun and day of... she was on top of every little detail so the ceremony was super effortless for us. We just loved her. One of the best choices we made!

My husband and I come from different religious backgrounds so a church/religious wedding wasn't an option for us. We ended up having our ceremony and reception all at one venue. We had been to several weddings where the minister/pastor didn't seem to know the bride & groom and I didn't want our ceremony to be like that. While my husband still wanted some mention of his beliefs in our ceremony, my main concern was that it be personal and tell our story. Journeys of the Heart is perfect for having a tailor made ceremony. While they have tons of suggestions and lots of experience to offer, they will do whatever you ask because they understand it is your day and they want it to be about you. We had Tim Dalton perform our ceremony and he was amazing. We only met with Tim once to go over our ideas and suggestions, but from that point on he was in constant contact through email with updates and drafts that he worked on. He always asked for our opinion and offered guidance when we needed it. The best part of a "Journey of the Heart" ceremony is called the Reflection. This is the part that tells your personal story. The officiant uses questions that you answer or stories that you tell to write a reflection piece about you and your fiancee which he/she reads as part of your ceremony. We loved this. Also, Tim offered great suggestions like having a wine ritual rather than a unity candle. Instead of lighting candles, we each poured our own glass of wine into one glass and both drank from it while he did a reading about how love is like wine and gets better with age. It made our ceremony a little more unique because a family friend was able to make the wine for us and called it "Wedding Day White" and put our picture on the label. Tim was a true professional and fantastic with our families. We got compliment after compliment about how wonderful our ceremony was. I would highly recommend using this service.

My husband and I chose Journeys of the Heart because I grew up Catholic (but I'm really no longer practicing) and he is Russian and Jewish (but also non-practicing). We wanted a non-religious ceremony but also wanted to incorporate traditions from both families. Journeys of the Heart seemed to be the best way to achieve our vision. We selected Urbane Peachey after reading his info--what a sweet man! We met with him several months ahead of time to plan the ceremony. He gave us so many options and really listened to who we were and what we wanted. In the end, our ceremony was so true to us, and we received so many compliments on how heartfelt, genuine, and comfortable it was.
Journeys of the Heart is a great choice--with them, you can hand pick your officiant (and there are many options), you can tailor your ceremony to your preferences, and they have different package options (for instance, you can choose to have a rehearsal with your officiant or not, you can choose to write your ceremony or have them plan it for you, etc.) Great company!

I cannot express how grateful we feel to have found and had Susanne Wilson as our minister. We had briefly met her at an open house event at Stroudsmoor Country Inn, as we were planning to have a family member conduct the ceremony, but she had such a wonderful presence that we grabbed her info. to have on hand just in case. Well, we needed that info and were so glad we had picked it up as our original plan fell through just weeks before the wedding. We live out of state and were able to communicate with Susanne over Skype and through email. After our first meeting, we both looked at each other and felt like she was the perfect fit for our day. She has a special talent for connecting to people and then sharing their story with others (you would have thought at the ceremony that she had known us for years). She provided us with many great ideas that were personal and made our ceremony unique and special. I don't think there was a dry eye at the ceremony, so many tears of happiness, support, and love you could just feel around you (even the groom was in tears, after stating earlier that I shouldn't be upset if he doesn't cry - I have never seen him cry in the 6 years we have been together till the moment Susanne shared all the wonderful things his family and friends said about him). I would HIGHLY recommend Susanne to anyone that would like a ceremony that is as special as your relationship. As wonderful as each part of our wedding day was, she is the one part that everyone commented how wonderful she was and the many happy tears they shed. THANK YOU!!!

We used Journeys of the Heart and more specifically Anita Bondi. Anita was so great every step of the way. From the first meeting to the final word she was a pleasure to be around. On the big day she was there as a support system to keep us calm and focused as well as to ensure that the day went off without any snags. We have received so many compliments about her service- everyone thought she was fantastic. If you are looking for someone who will take the time to get to know you and truly wants to be a part of your special day, look no further, book Anita immediately. You will so be happy you did.

We used Naila from Journeys of the Heart, and couldn't have been more pleased! She is a gifted writer and such a happy person, and that came through in the beautiful ceremony she married us in. It was very non traditional and light hearted, which was exactly what we were looking for! Naila was a great listener and really incorporated our ideas for the ceremony into her readings. Would recommend Journeys of the Heart to any couple looking for a unique ceremony.

We had Diane Smith-Hoban as our officiant. We heard so many compliments about Diane and the ceremony, more than any other aspect of the wedding. I can't count how many times someone came up to us and said it was the best wedding ceremony they have ever attended. She made it personal and beautiful and has great comic timing and wit and had our family and friends laughing.
Journeys of the Heart creates a ceremony which honors the couple and glories in the partnership they are creating. This isn't the same ceremony everyone else does, you get a one of kind experience. I cannot recommend it enough.
PS. We had two couples at the wedding who are getting married next year, they both asked us for Diane's number.

We were getting married outside and are not very religious. Our venue recommended Journeys of the Heart and they were was wonderful. We specifically worked with David Braneky. He was very responsive with all the questions I sent to him. The day of he was there when he said he would be and had a great personality. He made us feel at ease when we were nervous standing up in front of almost 200 people

Bob Pileggi from Journeys of the Heart officiated my wedding recently. He was a pleasure to work with and really took the time to get to know us so that our ceremony would be personal and uniquely ours. I can honestly say that our ceremony was the best part of our wedding. That was the number one thing that guests complimented us on. Throughout the whole reception and even afterward, people kept telling us it was one of the most interesting and beautiful ceremonies they'd attended because it focused on our relationship and our love and commitment to each other.

I enjoyed working with Journeys of the Heart, right from the start when I was selecting my officiant from all of their choices. We decided to work with Gabrielle Kaplan-Mayer, and I'm so glad we did. She provided a warm, intimate ceremony that included Jewish traditions. She was easy to work before the wedding, and let us pick all of the wording choices. I would highly recommend her! My only regret is that we didn't videotape it :(
