Linked Forever Photography/Hope Joy Photography: DO NOT USE THESE PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!!!!! You will have a fight on your hands to receive your product after your event. Communication via phone and/or email is extremely poor – voice mail messages and emails go unanswered for MONTHS. It took 1 year and 50 days for us to receive the flash drive with copyright release of our event after the initial order was to have been placed and 10 months and 14 days since the first email was sent to the photographer inquiring on the status of our order. As I said you will have a fight on your hands! After over a year and all our efforts to receive what is rightfully due us per the contract we are still not done. We are now faced with the decision of how to proceed and what options are available in order to recover some of the monies paid to them.
My husband and I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Linked Forever Photography, which has recently changed its name to Hope Joy Photography. Everything was fine until after the wedding. At that point, they had already received the majority of our payments-how convenient. We fought tooth and nail for almost a year to receive our products-countless phone calls never returned and countless e-mails that are responded to months later. Due to their lack of follow-through, we decided that we didn’t want our products from them any longer. All we wanted was our flash drive of pictures and a refund due to their lack of follow-through on products. We finally just got our flash drive, 16 months after our wedding. We are working on receiving our refund from them now.
This company is UNPROFESSIONAL, DISORGANIZED, and POORLY RUN. Their lack of communication is unbelievable, and they have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced. They make absolutely no strides to satisfy their customers. Our experience with them was incredibly frustrating and an absolute nightmare. I will never recommend them to any future brides. Save yourself the stress-USE SOMEONE ELSE.
Meghan and Rachael were an absolute pleasure to work with! They were very professional and have a great eye for photos!
They both arrived early for the engagement shoot, did a site visit of our house for the reception, and were extremely helpful with photo ideas prior to.
Their photos are gorgeous and they are true artists!
We had booked this vendor probably a year before our wedding date. A old friend used them with no problems. I had no problems with them at first. Meghan answered all my questions ect. When it came time to book our engagement pictures in July 2012 is when everything went down hill (I have saved every email for proof)
We scheduled our engagement session no problem about a month prior to the date we choose for our shoot.... The impending date was coming up and I realized we hadn't even picked a meeting point ect. I probably emailed the now customer service rep 5-10 that week to confirm the date, time and location. I even called with no response until a day before. VERY PROFESSIONAL.... To make matters worse this occurred in July and it is now the end of November and I had to fight to get my engagement pictures. I was told about 5 times via email that they mailed them. Even was given a date they were mailed... When my pictures (no cd with all the photos) were mailed it was post marked 2 weeks after I was told they were sent. I had to beg and plead for the cd with our photos on it again it took over a month to mail out after numerous requests.
About a week an a half prior to my wedding date, (where I had emailed the photographer for probably a week numerous times to confirm things) I still hadn't gotten any confirmation, engagement pictures ect, I was fed up and decided to find a new photographer. The funniest thing is when I emailed linked forever to tell them I had a vm waiting for me within 14minutes. And a email within 4hours.
I could comment more on what I think of them and their business. However I only want to warn other brides about losing money and never getting products. They may be good photographers but be prepared to fight tooth and nail for your photos
49 weeks since our wedding and no album or pictures. They dont return calls or emails. They constantly miss deadlines and delivery dates. This continues to be the worst part of our wedding.
I only saw a sneek peek of my pictures so far, but they look so amazing i can not wait to see the rest. The girls were amazing to work with. They are kind and I highly recommend they to anyone I know gettign married.

We got married on April 29, 2012 and had our proofs emailed to us by May 9th. Incredible pictures!!!
LF took thousands of pictures. If you click very fast it looks almost like a video in some parts! They captured every moment of our special day!
The best part about it - I never saw them! They are not intrusive but still manage to photograph the feelings and emotions of every important part!
We loved working with LinkedForever. They were extremely helpful the day of - getting ready, going through our shot list and checking up to be sure we got every picture we asked for.
We did not want to do a lot of posed pictures, because we wanted to enjoy the cocktail hour, and they worked with us to get all of our family shots and us in in a very quick amount of time and got every shot perfect! They were very organized and professional.
I would highly recommend LinkedForever to any bride!
The post-wedding customer service is terrible!!! We have called and emailed numerous times and are still in the dark about receiving our albums. I would NOT recommend using this vendor as you will not receive the products that you paid for.
Rachel & Meghan went above and beyond the normal expectations of wedding photographers. They knew the perfect poses for our pictures, Meghan fixed my bustle after numerous attempts from the bridal party, and even were able to do videography last minute by my father's request (he wanted his performance on video- he sang to me before our father daughter dance) I cant wait to get my disc!
So flexible, willing to work with me, and great price! Meghan was incredible the day-of and I loved how comfortable she made everyone feel. Definately consider them for your wedding!
Do yourself a favor and find a photography service that gives you what you are expecting! It was so hard to get these people on the phone. The only thing they contact you for is their payment. It took them 4 months to get our wedding pictures on their website for my guests to view. All of my pictures were out of order, which made it so difficult to sort through our 3500 pictures, which were of all of my husband and I and NONE of our guests. It took them a year and a half to get my album complete. They didn’t even hand it to me, they left it on my doorstep while I was at work. Their professionalism is unacceptable, especially for counting on them for one of the most important days of your life. The pictures were good but that was about the only good thing about their service.
We also used the videography service they provided. They were awful! Originally, we were supposed to have just one videographer (which was just fine). The week before the wedding they told me a second videographer would be there too. And then the day of the wedding three videographers showed up! I felt like we were on TV; it was annoying. And even with all that footage you would have thought that they would have gotten every part of our wedding but it was like watching our whole wedding from a corner. Again, they only shot my husband and I. It was very poorly edited. AND again we didn’t get our video for a year and a half.
Seriously people! Save yourself the headache and spend the extra money to have someone do it right. The disorganization of this vendor is absolutely frustrating! If you are going to use their services, make sure that you add a specific timeline to your contract.
I would never recommend this vendor and I tell all my engaged friends to steer clear of this company.
I had a horrible experience with these ladies. To this day, I have no wedding album. They are very nice people, but I found the business to be run quite poorly. They were very difficult to get in touch with throughout the entire process, whether I attempted communicating through email or phone. On many occasions, I would wait 1 week and then forward my initial email to get a response. This was usually followed by me making a phone call! After the wedding, the lapse of time between our communication went on for so long that I thought I had be a victim of a fraudulent company! I could not get in contact with anyone! I also believe them to be disorganized. They lost track of one of my payments. I had to go back months into my bank statements to prove I had made the payment. These are all issues that I could and did deal with. The reason for this negative review is that after all this, my pictures did not turn out nicely. I have no close ups. Many photos are blurry or focused on the wrong subject. The disc they provided with with has many photos, but 70% of the photos taken are at 45 degree angles. As you can imagine, this is very annoying to view! Also, contrary to what they may believe, tilting your camera does not equal photojournalism! The photos on this disc are unedited, so the church photos and posed family portraits have a red hue. I could go on... Please do yourself a favor and spend a bit more money on a more professional and experienced team of photographers.
We booked Linked Forever after hearing about them from a friend. My husband and I met with Meghan and told her what we wanted and she created a package for us. We got everything we wanted and thought the quality was amazing and the value was great. As part of our package, we received engagement pictures at 2 locations, we wanted a beach and wooded area for pictures. Meghan set it up so we could do two shoots two different days. Also, at our wedding it’s self, there was one picture I wanted and they made sure to get the picture and make sure it was perfect and just as I wanted. They are very flexible and more than willing to work with you. The only down fall is they can be slow to respond, however I have noticed it is getting better. I would highly recommend them.
We used this photographer because they seemed very friendly and helpful. They offer to do whatever you would like and have a clear cut contract that says 60 days for your photos. (This seems somewhat reasonable)
It has now been over 60 days and we have not heard from them at all. We have tried email, voicemail and facebook. We were supposed to meet for a one hour after session instead of engagement photos and we have not even been called back to arrange this. ABSOLUTELY awful!
I would never recommend these photographers again.
I wanted to give an update that it has now been a year since our wedding and we still have no pictures. We have run into endless excuses and broken promises. I am extremely disappointed. It is unreasonable to have to wait this long!
I cant even explain in words how amazed i was having linked forever be my photographer. Rachael and Theresa were amazing and they got every shot i wanted and even more. They were so easy to deal with and they always made sure to ask if there was anything else i needed or wanted. When things in my day got turned around (because of the slight chance of rain that ended up not happening) they rolled with the my changes.
I only saw the preview and I am beyond thrilled. I cant wait to see more. Even in just my preview I was blown away by their ability to capture my every emotion (i was a big baby)

I really wish I didn't have to write this review. But as a paying customer, who waited over a year for my wedding photos, I must warn other brides. Everything was great before and during the wedding (although they were dressed a little too informal imo). But afterward, they were very unresponsive. I was told that I could have digital copies of a few photos emailed to me for personal use (thank-yous, prints for my mom, sharing on facebook etc.), and I never recieved them (even after multiple emails that I sent requesting and re-questing them). Once I met with them to pick out my album style, I quickly got the list of all the photos I wanted in the album emailed to them. I got a response saying it was received and that they would email me the digital proof for my approval and "keep me updated". (6 months go by.....) I don't hear anything from them. No email of the digital proof. Not even an acknowledgement that they received any of my emails. Whenever we tried to call, there was no answer. Finally, when we contacted them publicaly on their business facebook page, they decided to respond and immediately sent the DVDs of all my photos to me. It is very frustrating as a bride who already paid over $1300 to be ignored for months, and having to wait over a year to receive any photos (aside from the limited time they were on a horrible photo site, weddingprints.com...but that's another review for another time). What makes it even worse for them, is that they made public on facebook all the recent weddings they were doing, posting preview albums etc. (the whole time I've been waiting for mine for a year). I don't know if this is a fluke or something and I'm the only one this happened to. But if the honest truth is that they took on more than they could handle and got really behind, at least have the courtesty of letting your brides know. Ignoring them is not the way to go. AND if you're really behind, you probably shouldn't expand your business even more by doing family/maternity portraits as well (not without hiring some extra help!). When all is said and done, the actual pictures they took aren't that bad. But customer service can make or break one's overall experience. And I'm sad to say, their's ruined it for me. 1 year, and 2 months after my wedding day, I finally have my DVDs, but the order for my album just went through this week. Had we not informed all their facebook fans that they left a bride stranded and waiting over a year, I'm not sure when I would've receieved anything. For the amount of money their services cost, I should not have had to go through all I did just to get a response from them. It's unprofessional.
These photographers will fool you with their nice website but look out they are unprofessional, not responsive, and honestly make no effort to connect with the bride. They came dressed down for a black tie wedding. Tee shirts are NEVER appropriate. I heard from numerous guests that they talked loudly throughout the ceremony and were stretched out in the pew. They left the reception without saying a word aka double checking we were satisfied with shots taken. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. What a deal, I saved a few bucks compared to other photographers but really got what I paid for.
I highly recommend that you select a different photographer. You would expect an employee owned company to want to grow their brand, but they treat you like they are doing you a favor. My experience was one where I had to remind them to bill us every time a bill was due. Their email system does not work or at least that is the excuse they give for ignoring you when you try to contact them. As far as I know their voicemail system works, but they take their time getting back to you, if they return your call. If you don't mind a lack of communication, a lack of direction when it comes time to take the pictures and month after month of delaying tactics, they are a good value.
Horrible Photographers!!!!! Lost wedding photos and terrible customer service skills(Meghan & Rachael). Never call back and very irrresponsible. DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR
The photos are beautiful. The girls did everything we aked - were really friendly, professional and super easy to get along with. They helped not only with the photography stuff, but were there to help tie everything that day together - such a stress relief!. My only complaint is that since the wedding they are impossible to get in touch with, very rarely return emails - or wait weeks or even month to reply. Also, every timeline they gave to get stuff back was at least a month behind what they actually did. I tihnk they overbook themselves. They need to expand to hire more photographers as well as editors, or not book so many photoshoots/weddings.
