Naylor Hall was top top notch!! Every detail was thought through, and done with flair and grace! All communication with Sunny (owner) and the bride and myself was over the top.
She knows what she is doing, has GREAT vendors, and is FUN. Even let us bring a tractor for the couple to leave in!!

Historic Naylor Hall…    posted 11/19/2013 (modified 11/20/2013)

Comments and reviews praising wedding venues are just words if they don’t match up to your performance expectations. Take my sincere advice—if you’re trying to plan a wedding in the Roswell-Alpharetta area, save yourself a lot of time and energy and call Naylor Hall. Reserve a date as soon as you can. You will have the event of a lifetime with all the amenities of professional vendors included.

Sunny Bailey will go out of her way to see that every need is met, every desire satisfied, and every dream fulfilled. Nothing is beyond her reach. We wanted everything to be perfect—including the weather—and she and her staff made it happen. A simple ‘thank you’ seems so inadequate but it comes from a grateful father on his daughter’s special day.

In today’s busy world it’s far more common for customers to complain when things don’t go right, then to compliment when things do go right.

This short note is to say how much we appreciate the outstanding level of customer service delivered by Sunny Bailey and the staff at Naylor Hall.
Sunny and staff went out of their way to take care of our needs in a prompt, professional manner. The staff of Naylor Hall works with the kind of enthusiasm that you would only expect from the owner(s) of a company.
Sunny and the staff at Naylor Hall made the day a pleasant experience for us, family, and friends.

It was a beautiful wedding at Naylor Hall on Sat Sept 28 when our youngest daughter, Susan, was married. My husband has already written a thank you. However, I wanted to take a moment to express personally my gratitude to Sunny Bailey and her staff for making this such a magical event. I have heard from many of our guests expressing what a wonderful time they had. Without fail, they each commented on the beauty of Naylor Hall. If our two older daughters were not already married, this would be the venue. Sunny was so easy to work with from start to finish. She genuinely cared about Susan having the most beautiful experience possible Thank you again, Sunny. It was great!

Fantastic event!    posted 10/3/2013

My sister recently got married at Naylor Hall and the entire experience was amazing. Sunny is incredibly knowledgeable and, through her relationships with the vendors and professionalism, was able to make the planning and wedding a breeze. Naylor Hall is beautiful, with its large front lawn and trees, and then inside has perfectly restored floors and character. The upstairs has great places for brides and grooms (and their parties!) to prepare and the downstairs has the perfect amount of space for a party, with plenty of room to move around. On the rehearsal and wedding days Sunny was a huge help, making sure everything ran smoothly and on time, and available to assist with any problems that may have arisen, yet it was also very discreet. Our experience with Sunny and Naylor Hall was excellent, and I would recommend her to another bride in an instant. She has done a wonderful job with the house and its grounds, and takes obvious pride in her work.

Naylor Hall---Memory of a Lifetime    posted 10/3/2013

My daughter, Susan, was married at Naylor Hall last Sat night. We explored numerous venues while planning her wedding. Had we gone to Naylor Hall initially, we would have saved a great deal of time and effort. From the first time we met with Sunny Bailey on March 13 until the last guest had departed on Sept 28, it was a wonderful experience for all of us. Not only is Sunny the owner, she truly became a friend. She was there at every step with guidance, reassurance and patience. No detail was left unattended and no question unanswered. Her pricing was more than competitive, and there were absolutely no hidden fees or add-ons.

Naylor Hall, located in the Historic Roswell District, is a beautiful venue, and Sunny's elegant touches are evident throughout. The expansive front lawn leading up the columned portico is a picturesque wedding spot. The vendors Sunny provided...DJ, florist, caterer and baker.. were all top notch professionals.

Among the numerous unique options made available by Sunny was a horse drawn carriage for the bride and groom. It was a true WOW factor! The bride arriving in her white carriage and walking down the red carpet to her soon-to-be husband is a fond memory every guest will long carry. From the moment my princess stepped from her carriage until she left with her prince charming under a shower of white rose petals, it was indeed a fairy tale wedding. Thank you Naylor Hall. Thank you, Sunny

My name is Erin Hudson, and my husband and I absolutely LOVED our experience with Naylor Hall. My sister had her reception there, and I couldn't imagine mine to be anywhere else. It is absolutely beautiful, and I knew that I would have nothing to worry about! Sunny and her team are wonderful. I am incredibly thankful for all that she did for my family and I to provide such a magical night. She took care of everything she possibly could and made our whole experience as stress free as it could be.

The perfect venue for your perfect day!    posted 9/29/2013 (modified 9/29/2013)

Ok, I will confess it. I don't have the "bride" gene. I was so excited when my fiancé proposed but then was overwhelmed by the daunting task of planning a wedding for two large families (and me living out of state). When we found Naylor Hall a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and I finally started to feel excited about planning my big day. Sunny and her team are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced about anything and everything "wedding". If I had a question, Sunny had an answer and a smile. You can walk into Naylor Hall at the height of wedding drama and after meeting with Sunny you will leave knowing all will be well on your big day.

Planning a wedding out of state can be really difficult, and staying in touch can be one of the harder things to manage. Sunny and Anne were always very quick to respond to my emails or phone calls. I never had to worry if they had received my message.

Sunny only works with the best. We used her recommended caterer, DJ, photographer, florist, and wedding cake designer. Sunny was also able to recommend a wonderful priest for us, as well as a great string trio and vintage car company.

Sunny was so helpful on the day of our wedding and knew exactly how everything should flow. There were a couple of opportunities at the reception where I might have needed extra help with my dress or transition from one phase of the evening to the next. Sunny was there whenever I needed her with the answer, before I ever really needed to ask. When you book Naylor Hall as your wedding venue you are also getting one of the best wedding coordinators in Atlanta.

Everything about our wedding day was perfect. I have had several guests tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. They have raved about the venue, how beautiful it was, and what a wonderful time they had. Sunny and her team did an amazing job at making our wedding feel special and unique. We received individualized attention. Never once did I feel rushed or pressured to make a decision or worry that I would end up with a cookie-cutter wedding. Naylor Hall really is a wedding landmark of historic Roswell and I would not hesitate to recommend it for your perfect day. You also have to try the lovebird lemonade or you are missing out!!! :)

Naylor Hall ceremony and reception venue    posted 9/28/2013

Choosing Naylor Hall as our venue for both our ceremony and reception site was the easiest decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning. Naylor Hall was the first and only site we visited and immediately fell in love. I saw my wedding vision the moment I walked into the house. I worked with Sunny for the year leading up to the wedding and she made every part of the process easy. There were a couple open houses that Sunny invited me to and I was able to meet the different vendors. We opted for a wedding package and Sunny took care of everything including the contracts for the food, flowers, preacher, and cake. I had my own photographer and DJ and Sunny welcomed them and kept in touch with them throughout the planning process.
The wedding day was flawless. I didn't know what to expect that day, but Sunny kept me at ease the whole time. It started down pouring before the ceremony and Sunny was able to keep me calm the whole time. It stopped raining and her staff went out and took care of everything. By the time the guests arrived, you would never have known it rained! The day before the wedding I dropped off favors and other items. Sunny had them set up beautifully when we arrived the next day.
Two months later and I'm still getting compliments about the venue and how beautiful the place was. There isn't anything about this experience that I would change. I feel so lucky to have met Sunny and have been able to work with her through out this process. I would recommend Naylor Hall over and over again!

Gorgeous Home full of gracious Southern charm!    posted 9/27/2013 (modified 9/27/2013)

My daughter's wedding was at Naylor Hall in late July 2013, and it was absolutely beautiful! The 7 pm ceremony was in front of the home and the bride & groom were on the front porch - so everyone got a great view! The reception inside was a blast! We had 125 people, and a buffet plus a slider station so that food was in more than one place. Sunny was such a pro - so calm and reassuring, and made sure everything happened on time,so that we could really enjoy our guests and the party! She also had a lot of great ideas - like having family members bring their own framed wedding pictures, which Sunny displayed beautifully on a table - it made a nice conversation area. We used all of the package suggested vendors - the caterer-3 Sisters, flowers-Magnolia Street Floral, harpist-Dania Lane, DJ-Hal Meador and cake baker-Sweet Caroline's Cakes were wonderful!! The home/grounds are absolutely beautiful - the photos are all so wonderful both inside and outside the home. So many guests told us they had a fabulous time! We couldn't have picked a better venue! Sunny, thanks for your role in creating a memorable and fun evening!!

Naylor Hall, and specifically Sunny Bailey, has hosted the wedding receptions for both of my daughters. The first was in May of 2005, and the second was in June of 2013. They were not "cookie cutter" receptions, since my daughters and sons-in-law have very different personalities; however, each was absolutely perfect. We had 265 guests at the first wedding, and around 200 for the second; There was plenty of room for everyone, and it was not cramped in the least. Sunny was the consultant for the first wedding, but has since purchased and renovated Naylor Hall, which is a beautiful house set in lovely manicured grounds. We had the pleasure of working together for the second wedding, as well. The experiences were almost identical - sensitive and professional "guidance" as to what was available from their list of approved vendors (a huge advantage, since they know these people well); listening to what our vision was for the reception, and making sure it was provided; productive suggestions when we weren't certain about various aspects of the process. I have to admit I was extremely nervous the first time around, because I had listened to horror stories from many of my friends who had planned weddings, or were in the process. I can honestly say that not one of those horrors materialized either time. The planning process was as stress-free as possible, but the best was yet to come. Both times, on the day of the wedding, the evening progressed seamlessly. Sunny made it clear that my daughters and their prospective grooms were the guests of honor, I was the hostess (but I had a staff), and as soon as we stepped on the property, we did not have a care in the world - she did. Amazingly enough, she delivered. Lastly, I have lost track of how many of our friends and family have made it a point to contact us, young and old, and have said they'd had an incredible time because of the wonderful service, entertainment and food. Sunny and her staff interacted with my family, as well as our guests. All felt welcome, including the bride, groom and me. I was able to relax, and enjoy my children, family and friends. I apologize if this sounds gushing, because it's not meant to be; however, I've thought long and hard before putting this down, and I can't honestly think of any problems we encountered. Considering how complicated and involved this process can get, that in itself is quite a testament. I can't recommend this facility highly enough. These people became our friends, and because of that relationship, we have wonderful wedding memories.

The perfect place to have a wedding! Sunny and her staff were fantastic and Naylor Hall is beautiful. They took care of everything and my husband and I did not have to worry about anything. The food, the music, and the flowers were all included we were able to stay on budget. Everyone said it was the BEST wedding they had been to! Thanks Sunny and Anne for making my daughter's wedding truly special and "perfect"!

A Wonderful Experience, from the Mother of the Bride    posted 9/26/2013

Being the mother of the bride can be an exciting time. But if the bride lives out-of-state, it can also be a stressful time.

This is where I found myself. I am so fortunate that my daughter and her fiance chose Naylor Hall as their wedding venue. Busy with full-time jobs, they were often unable to make it home for wedding-related appointments, etc. I was able to help out with much of this, and in doing so came to realize how lucky we were that selecting Naylor Hall also included the expertise of Sunny and her staff.

From the beginning, they made the wedding planning as easy and uncomplicated as possible. If, like us, you don't want to find individual vendors on your own, they can provide a list of experienced and dependable people from which to choose. Knowing we had high-quality people who would show up and do a good job was so helpful and a load off my mind.

Sunny was a true professional to deal with, always returning phone calls and emails promptly, and doing her best to help us stay within our budget while making the big day as special as we wanted it to be. We had quite a few guests traveling here from across the country, and she was able to give tips and recommendations on hotels, restaurants and other things that actually had nothing to do with the wedding day itself. She had so much good information and advice on so many things - all I had to do was ask.

During the last, hectic days of the "wedding week", Sunny was the calm in the center of our storm. More than once, her helpful ideas and assistance saved the day for us!

Since the wedding, we have heard so many compliments from our guests on just how beautiful it all was, and how much fun they had. Some even said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

Looking back on it all now, I am happy to say that my daughter's wedding was a beautiful success - and I am so grateful to Sunny for helping us to make it so. She and Naylor Hall are truly a class act!

Naylor Hall-The perfect place to tie the know    posted 9/25/2013

How can I even begin to describe how perfect Naylor Hall is? It's such an elegant yet charming venue! The venue alone is enough to choose to get married there, but the owner Sunny will push it over the top. Sunny took care of everything! I had no stresses besides looking as beautiful as possible on my big day because Sunny coordinated with all of the vendors and made sure everything ran smoothly, which it did. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and in my opinion went above and beyond what you could ever expect from a wedding coordinator. You are not just a bride when you get married at Naylor Hall, you are family. I am confident when I say that thanks to Naylor Hall and Sunny, my wedding was absolutely PERFECT and I still get compliments all the time from friends & family how my wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. I could never thank Sunny enough for all that she did.

Awesome Venue    posted 9/24/2013

Where do I begin to talk about this awesome place? I knew renewing our vows for our 25th had to be at some place amazing. Naylor Hall offered it all! Southern charm, beautiful antebellum home, and the most wonderful staff and vendors! It was a pleasure working with Sunny and she offered so much advice and really set my mind at ease. I know how special we wanted this day to be and we were not disappointed! Sunny is a true wedding professional as were all the vendors she recommended too. We loved the all-inclusive package and found that every vendor had a long history with Naylor Hall and they were all familiar with each other and were happy to assist us with our wedding needs. We truly felt like we couldn't have picked a better place! Thank you Sunny for making our day so special!

WOW....Naylor Hall....    posted 9/21/2013

I can't wait another minute to rave about Sunny and Historic Naylor Hall. I hosted my wedding celebration at in June and could not be happier with EVERYTHING. We had a large party and held the ceremony on the front lawn then moved into the house for cocktails and hors D'Oeuvres while Three Sisters Catering flipped the lawn for the reception. By the way....the food, service, staff was absolutely fabulous. We chose several chef attended, small plate stations and our guests LOVED the "small" meals and the variety of each presentation. Now, back to Sunny...she planned everything. From the ceremony layout, vendor selection, and the whole flow of the evening. I truly felt like a guest at my own party. If you are looking in the Roswell area for a fabulous vendor and wedding planner...Look no more. Seriously....call Sunny at Naylor Hall! She's got you covered!!!!

Naylor Hall is the best.    posted 9/19/2013 (modified 9/19/2013)

The first time I walked into Naylor Hall was in 2001. I owned a business affected by the 9/11 tragedy so I worked part-time as a bartender. We kept the doors open but I did not take a paycheck until good times returned. While serving drinks it was hard to imagine how our daughter would have a grand wedding in Naylor Hall. Happily our business recovered and my wife and I gave our daughter and her fiancé that storybook wedding. Based on my catering experience Naylor Hall was my first choice for our daughter’s wedding. I’m happy to report it is even nicer than it was in 2001. Sunny is a gem, she effortlessly insures the planning is on track and calms nerves. She is very particular about the quality of her vendors. We used Sunny’s recommended catering company, florist, wedding cake designer, photographer, DJ and string trio. Each did a fine job and the pricing was very reasonable. We were not treated as “another wedding”. Everyone took a personal interest in our happiness. Two weeks have passed and we are still hearing from guests telling us how they enjoyed the wedding. Sunny, her staff and Naylor’s vendors are so buttoned up and caring you don’t need a wedding planner. I recommend Naylor Hall if you want a personalized, memorable experience and want to relax during your wedding.

Party planning 101    posted 9/18/2013

Here is what I learned about getting a daughter married:
1) give the girl what she wants
2) find someone else to plan the details

After getting my first daughter married at another venue several years ago we knew that we didn't want to be responsible for all the planning required to have the perfect reception for 200 guests. When we found Sunny our prayers were answered-she has been planning parties and receptions for over 20 years, and she is the owner of this beautiful historic gem in Roswell.

She let us design a beautiful reception for our daughter, but she handled all the vendors and the thousands of details that go into a big party.

Most importantly she created a dream reception for our daughter, her husband, and all of our guests. No one has quit talking about it yet. She also ran the dream party flawlessly so that the bride, the groom, and the parents could relax and enjoy the biggest party we have ever thrown.

Thank you Sunny

Unique Rehearsal dinner party!    posted 9/16/2013 (modified 10/2/2013)

Being from out of town, it was important to me to be able to depend on the expertise of the staff at Naylor Hall for all the details of our rehearsal dinner party.

We wanted our rehearsal dinner party to be fun and unique, so Sunny suggested a pig roast and lawn games! We enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and lawn games until the sun went down, then ventured indoors for dinner, dessert, coffee and memories.

The guests loved the casual games, yet beautiful setting of Naylor Hall. Sunny's professional manner and attention to detail made my life much easier. What a blessing to have everything completed and looking beautiful when we arrived. All we had to do was have fun!
