Perona Farms was everything i expected and more! They listened and followed all of my instructions; they were so accommodating with every detail. The food was OUTRAGEOUSLY delicious! Every part of the meal from Cocktail Hour right through to the dessert/cake! the venue is beautiful and they gave everyone free reign of the grounds to walk around; not just the bridal party for picture-taking. it couldn't have been a more perfect evening and place to have our wedding reception! Great value, too, for everything they include in their base-package!
I just had my wedding at Perona Farms and it was lovely! My fiancee and I booked originally with Ron, who stopped working there in January, which was a shame. I then worked with John. Aggie, my maitre'd, was beyond helpful and completely made our evening worry-free. I took pictures of the way I wanted things set up (helpful tip!) and she laid everything out beautifully according to my demonstrations. She got us food, cut off too-intoxicated guests, and organized everything perfectly. My guests raved about the cocktail hour, and the food, which I was concerned about because they don't do tastings (you have to go to their Sunday brunch instead.) But still, everyone had a great time from the ceremony to the reception and it was a success. Special thanks to Aggie for everything she did! She should be promoted! My favorite part about Perona was that it was AFFORDABLE! I would definitely recommend this spot, not only for everything I just mentioned but for all of the picturesque opportunities!
I just had my wedding at Perona Farms, and from the first time I saw it, I knew that it would be perfect. The staff is so accommodating, and really worked with everything that we wanted. There are so many options that they provide, to really make your wedding personal, and unique. The food is delicious, the grounds are impeccable, and the rooms are beautiful. I would highly suggest this venue to any bride and groom, as it makes for a fairy tale wedding. Everything from start to finish was perfect!
We had our wedding on October 3, 2014 at the Barn at Perona Farms. Everything about it was amazing. We worked with Becky in the planning process and she was always helpful and quick to answer our questions. As soon as I saw the barn in person i knew I had to act fast because it was so amazing and beautiful!! Our wedding day could not have went more perfectly. Justine was so helpful as our ceremony coordinator and Courtney was our Maitre D who was fantastic as well. The ceremony was so pretty with the trees in the background next to the barn. The cocktail hour was downstairs in the barn. There are lots of seats and places to mingle. If its nice out you can go outside to the back patio that has a fire pit. The cocktail hour food was EXTENSIVE. There was SO MUCH to choose from. All local and seasonal too! I didn't get to eat everything(i tried!!) but our wedding guests have been telling us how much they liked it. Then we go upstairs to the top part of the barn. We chose the white uplighting but all of the colors they had were so pretty. The tables are natural wood and the floors too. No ugly carpets or curtains anywhere in sight. They also recently added an elevator and some windows to see outside which were really nice. We had about 125 people and could have had a lot more and would still be comfortable. We used a lot of the suggested vendors and everyone was great. Thanks Perona Farms for making it easy and fun to plan our wedding.
If you are looking for a Barn wedding, Perona Farms knows what they're doing. The food is amazing, the staff is helpful and nice, and the Barn is the most amazing place for a wedding. Our friends and family said it was the best wedding they've been to in a long time!
Thanks for an amazing day!!
My daughter recently had her wedding at Perona Farms and first let me say, the food was amazingly good! The grounds were beautiful and the staff was top-rate! All except for our wedding coordinator John Tierney. He was the rudest, most arrogant and uncaring person we have ever met and for a person like this to be in the wedding industry is an affront to common decency! We originally were booked by a really nice gentlemen whom shortly after we signed were told he retired? Kind of young for retirement but so be it. Anyhow, we were saddled with John. He treated us like we were a nuisance to his existence. He half listed to us and then tried to backtrack on things we were previously promised both verbally and in our contract. When we disagreed with his position, he almost became hostile and very short and dismissive with us. When my daughter hit the parking lot she was in tears! After two weeks of frustration, John approached us on the morning of her wedding to let us know he restored almost all the items promised with a huge grin and stood there like he was waiting for us to drop to our knees in gratitude. No remorse for the torture he put my daughter through…nothing! If we thought for a second that we could book another venue in that short notice and receive a full refund two weeks prior to our wedding day, we would have!! The only painful memory of an otherwise amazing day.
We just had our wedding in the Barn at Perona Farms on July 25th. Our day was PERFECT! Not only did we luck out with beautiful weather in July (75 degrees, no humidity, and not a cloud in the sky) but everything else went off without a hitch. Becky helped us coordinate and plan all of the details for our 145 guests. She was pleasant to work with and so easygoing. Very happy with her! Justine, our ceremony coordinator was sweet, organized, and helped get my family down the aisle with ease. Even with two young nephews as the ring bearers. Kevin, our maitre de for the reception, took care of us the entire night. He made sure we ate hot food, always had a drink refill ready, and helped us stay on track with the timeline of the night. The wait staff and bartenders were friendly and professional. The food, from cocktail hour to dinner at the reception, was immaculate! Everyone I spoke to couldn't believe how wonderful Perona was. Everything was truly perfect for our special day. We want to throw another party there already!
Perona Farms is BEAUTIFUL!! We specifically choose this venue for our July 2014 wedding because of the land and grounds. Our ceremony was in the Piazza and our reception in the Florentine Room. We had about 175 guests. Becky our coordinator took such great care of us. She really made the process so easy and was always available. Justine was our ceremony coordinator and was so awesome- she personally transported our butterflies into the release box for our ceremony and thought of everything!!
The ceremony was beautiful and the transition to cocktail hour was great. Although we missed cocktail hour because of pictures, EVERYONE raved about the great food and variety offered. Our reception ran smoothly and there was plenty of great service. I cannot believe how quickly the night went but can't imagine having our wedding at any other venue! We will be back for brunch to celebrate our anniversary every year :)
Just had my wedding there on June 7th (in the barn), and it was amazing! Down to every last detail Perona did a great job! All of the guests raved about the food and the grounds and how gorgeous they were! Justine was my ceremony coordinator and she did a great job! My maitre d was amazing and my bridal party could not stop talking about how wonderful she was! Perona set up everything for us and did a beautiful job! They also asked me before the reception to make sure everything was just how I wanted it. I wish I could get married every day, that's how perfect the day went!
We recently attended my daughter's ceremony and wedding reception at Perona Farms. The food and personalized service were excellent, as was the overall coordination. The grounds are well landscaped and maintained. The indoor facility is spacious, updated and very clean. I highly recommend Perona Farms
The Barn at Perona Farms. I was so excited to check this venue out. What a disappointment attended wedding last summer. 2 afternoon weddings going on in the Perona farms across the street but were ending at 5:00pm then I see 2 more weddings coming in for the night shift plus the wedding I'm attending at the Barn. That’s 5 brides in one day, wow talk about get em in and get em out. I arrived early the parking lot was full no space to park until I saw the dirt road leading to the Barn parked and I decided to walked the property with my fiancée, had to cross street but I had to wait for a pack of Harley's to go by first very busy road. Once across I saw the apple orchard tons of rotten apples on the ground being hovered over by bee's also people who own the house in orchard were outside play tennis on their courts looks like they own the orchard too. Continued to tour the grounds saw the Island in the middle of a algae pond next to the busy road 2 brides waiting to take pics but the grounds were nice. The ceremony was about to start so we headed back. The parking lot was insane and I guess due to the amount of guest there was a very strong odor of septic in the air. Made it back to the Barn almost twisted my ankle walking up this dirt gravel road to the entrance of the barn valet guy was really nice and pointed us in the right direction. The white chairs were set up on the side lawn in the middle of the barn and someone’s house, which the people at the house were outside on their deck during the ceremony. The bride and groom are very good friends and now I'm starting to feel bad for them because I know they paid close to $200.00 per person. Ceremony was nice but felt like 100 degrees no cover on a day like that Ceremony was over and now were going into the Barn for cocktail hour. Hmmmm a little different nice plywood ceiling, concrete floor like around a built in swimming pool. Just looked unfinished. The food line wrapped around 1/2 the inside of the barn. Finally get up to the food pizza station looked like pizza for one no assorted topping just one little pizza, carving of salmon that was good, pasta just sitting in 2 sauté pans over cooked, then a sausage station that was different, then shrimp on ice and platters of sliced cold cuts the salads well I felt like I was at a picnic. Cocktail hour was over and they moved us up stairs a friend of mine had to take the elevator which was very scary it was like an old slow moving freight elevator we took the steps 2 flights Now we are all upstairs the floor is the original barn floor and my heels are getting caught in the middle of the wood floor thank god the bride provided flip flops there was no dance floor just a space left open to dance the tables were set up like a convention the tables looked like they were pulled out of a pool of lacquer and 12 of us at one table the plates china and glasses looked like they came from the dollar store, Already on the table a small bowl of olives some cheese and red peppers and a bowl of salad we all had to pass this around. Then the bide was introduced they had to wiggle through the tables to make it up to the dance floor next they placed platters of beef and chicken and platters of vegetable and potato again we all had to pass the platters around at this point I felt like I was at a high school sports award dinner. This place looks like they just swept it out put up some up lighting. The staff told me the smell is from not upgrading the old septic.
Ron was great handled everything before even my annoying emails. Emily was fantastic day of. No pressure kept us on track without being pushy.
Our wedding at Perona Farms was everything we had hoped it would be. We had visited many different venues, but we always kept coming back to Perona Farms. The location is absolutely gorgeous and everyone is still raving about the food. My husband had an old family recipe that we wanted to include during cocktail hour, and Perona Farms was more than happy to oblige. If I had to do it all again, Perona Farms would still be my #1 choice.
Perona Farms did an excellent job at my September 2, 2013 wedding. The staff was exceptional and on top of everything during the ceremony and reception! Every time my husband and I had a question or concern it wasn't warrented because either Tracy or Kevin the captain of reception was on top of it. Everyone LOVED the food and said they had food they had never tried before. The wait staff was always attentive always to clear someone's plate or help in someway. We had the "cocktail reception" with free seating and guests loved it! No lines for food and they all got to sit where they wanted. Tracy really worked with us to make us happy on the day, making sure we had extra cupcakes to go home with and changing sides last minute due to weather (there we no other functions our day) because we liked the venetian inside better (was supposed to be outside on other side). Would recommed Perona for any function!
Everything was perfect and the staff really helped to make that possible! We could not have asked for anything more!! Kevin, our maitre'd, was amazing!! There are endless opportunities for beautiful pictures and ceremony sites. The food is amazing, everything was delicious!!
Our wedding at Perona Farms Barn was so perfect. THe venue itself is so different and unique, all of our guests loved the rustic touches it provided and how different and fun it was. The food was amazing, we had nothing but positive feedback. The space was perfect and great for a bride wanting a rustic wedding but still a formal setting. I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff. Everyone was very helpful and accomidating!
I am specifically referring to the barn in this review. I really can't say enough good things about this venue. Everything was perfect and picturesque. The food was phenomenal. The venue itself is absolutely amazing. Everyone can't stop talking about the offbeat feel to the place and the rustic charm. It was awesome!
Our wedding at Perona Farms could not have been more beautiful. We worked with John while planning our wedding and he was amazing. He always got back to us right away and made sure our day was perfect in every way possible. The staff was amazing and on top of everything. One of the best things about Perona is that there is more than enough space for all your guests (when booking a venue we wanted to make sure the rooms were large and people were not uncomfortable). The food is incomparable to anywhere else. Everything about the night went perfect.
Perona Farms was the absolute most perfect place for our wedding. We wanted something that could be outdoors, was a bit rustic, but still had that polished, chic look. Perona farms exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by everyone there we knew that this place was something special. Jonathan was a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions instantly and put my crazy wedding concerns at ease. Perhaps the most important thing is that they were willing to work with and able to meet our budget. On our wedding day Kevin was a perfect maitre d. One of our guests surprised us with a beautiful painting and he instantly found an easel to display it. When our flowers were running late, Perona Farms was ready on hand to offer their house florist just incase our flowers didn't get there in time. Overall we couldn't have asked for anything better and we wouldn't change a thing. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. Not to mention their grounds are gorgeous and perfect for photos!
They were great to work with Ron was amazing and they took care of every little detail. It was great! They were willing to work with us on everything, and you can make changes so that your wedding really represents you and your soon-to-be. Beautiful location! They take wonderful care of the grounds so you don't have to worry about going anywhere else for pictures!
Everything at Perona Farms was perfect...from the amazing staff, to the beautiful grounds, to the delicious food. It couldn't have been a more perfect day. All of our guests raved about the wide variety of offerings of food and drink at both our cocktail hour and the Viennese tables. The dinners were delicious and elegant. The staff was incredibly helpful with everything. I would absolutely recommend Perona Farms.
