Our wedding at the Piazza was absolutely perfect. Michelle, our onsite wedding coordinator, took care of every tiny detail and I was not stressed for even a minute. Several people have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to and the food was spectacular. The venue is absolutely stunning. Although it was a bit pricey, it was worth every penny for the all inclusive service we received. I can not think of a single thing I wanted at my wedding that wasn't there...down to our Eiffel Tower ice sculpture for our Parisian theme! I would highly recommend this venue for even the pickiest bride!
The Piazza was an amazing venue built solely for weddings. They have great options for different sized parties, they offer photo booths, all kinds of food, they have several options to choose from on bar services. The only negative thing I have to say is that there is a fairly high minimum that you must pay for, so smaller parties of 50-100 will have to eat A LOT of food or drink A LOT of alcohol. Other than that, it was spectacular. The day-of went off without a hitch, thanks to the coordinator they provide. She kept things running smoothly and stayed nearby the entire night to make sure I had everything I needed. Overall, this is an amazing place. The total cost for the chapel/ceremony/food/alcohol was less than $15k, which when compared to paying separate costs is pretty close to average. Plus, I got a coordinator thrown in as part of the package who organized all the vendors and took care of EVERYTHING on the big day.
Piazza in the Village was my absolute dream venue. I had seen it a few years back through a mutual friend’s Facebook photos and couldn’t believe how gorgeous it was. Fast forward a few years to my engagement, and the ONLY thing I knew was I had to get married there. It was the first venue we visited, and after a few other visits to venues I made my fiancé drive us all the way back to Colleyville to sign the contract. There was absolutely no comparison to the feeling I got when I was at the Piazza.
The Piazza is breathtaking and they thought of every detail! The chapel is like a dream and I loved that it gave a church feel for our ceremony. The chandeliers are to die for. The grand ballroom is just as perfect. I can't stress enough how beautiful every single part of that place is!
Debbie, my coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She was easy going, funny, sweet, approachable and I truly felt like she cared about my wedding day. Every bride wants to feel special and she did just that! A few of my bridesmaids had been in other weddings before and said that those weddings and mine were night and day difference because of my coordinator. Debbie made everything run smoothly and it was wonderful not having to worry about the logistics.
Everyone complimented the venue and THE FOOD (it’s delicious) all night. I am so thankful for such a wonderful venue that made my wedding night so unbelievably perfect. We got married on a Saturday night so compared to other venues, it was on the higher end of our budget, but worth every penny. As a bride you hear all of these horror stories about how things inevitably go wrong on your wedding day- I can honestly say everything was perfect and it was the happiest night of my life. Thank you Piazza!
Piazza in the Village is a wonderful place to have a wedding and reception. The quality is top notch! Our wedding was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator. Mckenzie took care of everything for us and I just had to show up and enjoy the night!
From the beginning everyone was so wonderful. This was the first venue we looked at and the last. We got married on a Saturday morning, therefore, we got a pretty good deal cost wise. Our wedding planner, Laura, was amazing. I did not have to worry about a thing. All we had to do was get to the venue and the rest was taken care of. The chapel was gorgeous. The reception was so much fun. All of our guests raved about the food. We served the Southwest buffet and everyone loved it. They even served a vegetarian option for my sister who doesn't eat meat. Everything turned out perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better day.
I recently booked my wedding at the Piazza for next June and I have been so impressed by their staffs service. Robin is absolutely wonderful and has answered every question I have had in a timely manner. The Piazza has made an effort to get to know my fiance and I, and has done everything to accommodate our special needs and wants. I fell in love with all of the personal touches the Piazza offers when I toured and after comparing it to other similar venues, nothing compared. I CANNOT WAIT to get married here and to continue working with their excellent staff.
My husband and I had the best experience getting married at the Piazza. We had a relatively short engagement and the staff at the Piazza were able to help us walk through every step during that season of our lives. We had so much fun going to the food tastings and meetings. The rehearsal went so smooth. My wedding coordinator, Lorna, handled everything perfectly! I was not stressed at all that day and feel like I was able to enjoy the day. It was worth the money to have them take care of everything. My parents, in-laws, and bridal party all got to enjoy the day too. No one was worried about set up or clean up. It was amazing!!! I love the Piazza and would recommend it to any bride who wants a flawless and beautiful wedding!!!
Our wedding was this May, and it was the best day of my life! Not only did I get to marry the man of my dreams, we had an amazing wedding at the Piazza!!!!!!!!
We looked at several venues in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and let's just say that the Piazza in the Village was the best decision we made.
The whole building is designed beautifully as well as the chapel. So bridal pictures, and all photography will turn out great because of the whole atmosphere of the venue. There's a romantic modern feel with a touch of vintage soft decor. So decorating will be fun for all styles. I absolutely loved my bridals because of the background of the cross in the chapel, and the wooden door.
Everyone who is stressing out to see if they need a wedding coordinator or not, choose the Piazza and don't! The Piazza provides a wedding coordinator that will literally go into detail about your day and beyond. From decorations, music, slideshows, the arrangement of your wedding party, to coordinating the best schedule for the day of. (And trust me, for those that need a specific set schedule, they are on top of their game.) They will coordinate with your DJ, florists, officiant, photographer, and ect.
I was able to work with Lorna and she was amazing and was able to help me envision our wedding day perfectly before it even happened. The owner of the Piazza was able to work with my Mom and I on many last minute changes. Also, some places would try to rip you off an arm and a leg for food/drinks, but the Piazza will work with you in order to serve a great night for your guest. So no overselling here….
They are great to work with and are flexible in order to accommodate to your needs. The whole entire staff is dedicated to perfecting customer service, so therefore the food, drinks, and whole atmosphere was amazing and very well organized. Communicating through email/phone was easy, all the paper work and contracts were all organized and accessible.
Wedding planning is fun, yet stressful for some. I can't say this enough, but if ya'll choose the Piazza; I guarantee that there is less stress because they are so well organized and will accommodate to your needs.
They also have open days to where you can come in and meet some of the vendors that work with them! Everyone should go! There’s food and great deals if you choose the piazza!
On the day of, the staff does very well in communicating with each other in order to get the party going! Their payment plans were very accommodating in order to pay off before the big day.
I definitely recommend the Piazza in the Village to all you newlyweds because y'all won't regret it! Plus if y'all want some "Oh wow that's a beautiful venue.." Well, that's what it is.
We looked all over Dallas for the perfect venue and were absolutely taken by Piazza in the Village. The chandeliers and vaulted ceilings in the chapel and the elegance of the lighting in the ballroom won us over instantly. At a great expense, we had a wonderful wedding. Piazza in the Village is a top-notch place with the most amazing food of any venue we tried. Food was very important to us as many places had mediocre food for a high dollar price. I feel like every dime spent toward the food was well worth it. We served filets wrapped in bacon and the pecan crusted trout. I highly recommend the trout. It was a huge hit. They were able to accommodate my vegetarian friends easily and without any crazy charges. The mixed drinks were served up well, but I think the margarita machine might be a waste... They were more like icees. :P We had an ice sculpture included in our package and it was beautifully done. I was very impressed with the detail.
The coordinators are extremely helpful and flexible. You do not need a wedding planner if you use Piazza. They will help you with any and all questions. We were able to pay for our dream wedding over 6 months which made it easier to do. McKenzie was our coordinator and I would recommend her to anyone.
Overall, I think this is a great place for a formal wedding. The staff, food, and appearance of both the chapel and ballroom are fantastic.
I called in for a quote to have my wedding and reception here and was transferred to Robin. She sent me the exact proposal within an hour and emailed back and forth with me on trying to get everything the way i wanted. Finally we booked an appointment for me to come and look at it/sign the contract with my fiance even though he and I had attended a wedding there before.
3 days before our appointment, Robin emailed me saying that there was another couple there looking at the venue for our date. I asked her what we had to do to secure it because that date was our anniversary. Robin stayed late at work to put together the contract for me to sign and sent it over. She waited to get it back and receive my card payment so she could secure our date in their system.
I kept the appointment for that Saturday and my fiance and i came in to look at it again and go over our contract. I have never been more blown away in my life. I've worked in the service industry for over 8 years and have never experienced the level of service provided by the girls at this venue. Not only are they so sweet and accommodating, but the venue was recently updated and expanded.
On top of the renovations, they also have an inclusive package that is saving me around 1500$ in other vendors fees. If someone gave me $1 million to pick any venue in the world, i would still pick this venue. This level of service isn't describable in words.
Words cannot describe how happy and excited I am. My fiance and I had chills throughout the entire tour. He isn't interested in wedding planning at all but was so overwhelmed and kept talking about everything he loved during our tour. Robin went above and beyond in her duties and I cannot wait to work with them throughout the next year in planning my wedding.
I was so amazed at how perfect Laura and the rest of the Piazza staff made our wedding!! Everything was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't have been happier. Laura was determined to make my vision come to real life from our very first meeting, and she definitely did!!! Everyone here is so professional and made sure that everything went so smoothly; it was just perfect!! It was like 20 minutes before our ceremony was supposed to start, and I realized that I had forgotten about the CD for our music and we couldn't find it anywhere!!!!!! And before I was able to even freak out, Laura had the music downloaded and ready to play!! The food was the absolute best!! When we did our first tasting, my fiancé said: "wow, this taste nothing like the usual wedding food!!" Laura was our 3 month planner and she was so wonderful. We loved her from day one!!! She made sure everything went smooth, everyone stayed on time, and if there were any mishaps - I had no idea!!! I would 100% recommend Piazza in the Village to anyone looking for a venue!!!! We love you, Piazza in the Village!!!! xoxo Amanda & Justin
I decided to book with the Piazza because of how gorgeous the venue is and I am so glad that I did! The beauty of the place is not even what I was most pleased with in the end, it was the service and how amazing everyone that works there really made it our special day and bent over backwards for us throughout the whole planning process and the night of. I had to change some of my tables and seating arrangements the day before the wedding and my coordinator was so nice about it and took care of everything! Not only did they take care of me and the groom but I had so many guests come up to at the wedding saying how well everything was run and how nice everyone was! They made the wedding process very easy and stress free with how accommodating they were! I could not have imagined a more perfect place to get married and I would highly recommend it for any bride and groom!
I had my wedding the day after Valentines day in the morning and I have to say the Piazza staff did a remarkable job at making sure everything went smoothly. I cannot give enough props to Laura and the other staff. She made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and that everything happened in a timely manner. I had so many compliments about my wedding and I couldn't have done it without their help. Yes, it was pricey at $11,000 for a daytime Saturday wedding with 150 people, but it was well worth the money! The food was delicious, the venue is already gorgeous so there is little decorating needed, and they have their own photo booth to rent so you don't have to deal with another vendor. Absolutely the best wedding ever, though I may be biased :), but so many of my guests have told me how awesome it was. I would definitely recommend Piazza and Laura! :)
Just got married about 2.5 weeks ago and could not ask for a better place to get married! Everything was beautiful and went so smoothly! Laura was my planner and she was absolutely AMAZING! Would recommend this venue to anyone!
My husband and I got married at the Piazza on September 16, 2012. The Piazza made our day the best day of our lives. We have been married for a year now and our friends and families still talk about our wedding, how much they enjoyed the venue, how excellent the food was (filet mignon and steak was Awesome!) and how organized everything was. Our wedding coordinator was excellent, the venue was everything I had dreamed of and the customer service was AMAZING! Thank you so much Piazza for making our day Flawless! You guys are the Bestest!!!

I have been a slightly high maintenance bride so far with a hectic travel schedule for work, and the staff at the piazza has been so helpful. We get married there at the end of the year and are absolutely in love with the place and all of the amenities. The value is great because so much of the stuff we would end up spending extra money on is included in their packages. You get an onsite coordinator for your last few months and it is so helpful in putting all of the pieces together. I am so excited for our big day, but so grateful to the staff at the piazza for running such an efficient and beautiful venue.
We are getting married this Sunday and I could not say enough wonderful things about the groupd at Piazza. Everyone has been so wonderful and helpful with the whole process and really helped us to enjoy the planning stages of our wedding. We had our tasting a couple weeks ago and the food was amazing! The chapel and ballrooms are gorgeous. I love the chandeliers and all the little touches of glamour throughout the venue. It is also located in a cute little village which sets a wonderful atmosphere. I cannot wait for our big day and we are so blessed to begin our lives together in such a wonderful place!!
I got married here in May of 2013. Every guest at my wedding said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. The Piazza waits on you hand and food, and makes you feel like a queen. They are very professional, and have a lot of personalized items to offer such as: name emblems on the dancefloor, the name waterfall thing, the engraved words in the wood in the chapel, etc... My wedding coordinator was Michelle, and we got the premier package. It was an amazing night, that I will never forget.
Pros: Beautiful venue, one-of-a-kind, food is delicious, lots of options on food and hors d'oeuvres, very professional staff, they send you a copy of ceremony on video, very little decor needed in chapel because it is breathtakingly beautiful on its own with just the candles.
Cons: A wee bit expensive, but you pay for quality. One hiccup of the night, I specifically told them I needed a vegetarian option and told them what table # the guest was at. I found out weeks later they told her they didn't have a vegetarian option. Also, I had three flavors to my wedding cake, they told me and my husband they would walk around with each of the flavors and ask guests which one they wanted. They didn't they just cut and served and guests didn't even know we had 3 flavors. That kinda ticked me off when I found out weeks later.
Overall, if that's the worst things that happened, it was an amazing night!
The Piazza staff made excellent suggestion for our seated dinner and the service was outstanding. They also did a great job of helping us plan the beverages for the open bar and it was just right.
Overall, the Piazza was gorgeous venue to have our wedding. It comes with all the extra amenities that you normally have to pay for seperate, in an all in one package deal! It really worked well with our budget and the type of atmosphere we wante to have. The only bumps we had we when deciding on food. They are willing to make it work out some how, you have to be willing to not accept no as an answer and really think outside the box, which the chef was willing to do. The food was amazing!!! No guest complained about the flavors. The other bump was the amount of food. They wanted to provide more, which is understandable becuase they didn't want to look bad for not having enough food for everyone, but the "buffet" style that we did allowed us to do less servings and we still had plenty of food. Another small bump was the alcohol. Make sure you check your money on that, it gets very expensive to provide "open bar", we had that at first but then we switched to "cash bar" and it worked out perfectly. For 65 people and roughly 1800.00 was perfect! Last bump, would have been the lack of ability to create a truly original plexi glass monogram. They have specific, very plain, unoriginal (in my opinion)options to use for your plexi glass sign. That part was the most hassel! It was rather frustrating, not on Piazza's fault, but more so on the vendor that they use for the signs.
Overall, the staff is very helpful, understanding and truly want to make this day about you and your husband!!! Hands down, I would highly recommend anyone have their wedding at the Piazza. Laura is a wonderful coordinator.
