Trust the bad reviews about Sadie's Bridal (I wish I did) I can't even give this shop a half star. They completely ruined my wedding gown purchase experience. Unprofessional, dishonest, deceptive and uncaring are just a few words that describe this so called "business".
To add insult to injury, the poor treatment was not just by the employee Kim, but primarily by the owner herself, Danielle Cinque.
Long story short - I was sold what turned out to be a sun-damaged gown yet this owner insisted on hiding behind her no refund policy. It was not until I exercised my chargeback rights that she miraculously came up with a replacement gown.
From deceptive price negotiations to arrogant attitudes - this transaction had it all. In addition, my mom and I were subjected to many harassing /threatening texts and voicemail messages.
I used Sadie's Bridal for my bridesmaid dresses and for the mother of the bride dress. We loved working with them especially Carmella. They have a great selection of gowns. They were all very nice and helpful. we also got our invitations from them. They work with an outside vendor for this service but we loved how they turned out. The costs were very reasonable as well.
My daughter picked her Gown after shopping at 5 other bridal stores. Carmella was the best. She knew exactly what style was the best look for my daughter - and she was right on. The Service was personal and as promised. I would highly recommend Sadie's Bridal for every Future Bride. You can't go wrong with Sadie's
Sadie's Bridal has BEAUTIFUL wedding gowns! My mom also bought her dress here and. The service we received was superb, which I did not find at the chain stores.
All 6 of my bridesmaids got their dresses from Sadies and we all couldn't be happier. Their prices are better that other bridal stores in the area for After Six dresses. The dresses came in about 2 months sooner than expected which was great and everything with the order was perfect.
I came in with a small budget and the sales person was very friendly and helpful. They did the alterations on site so there were no additional hassles
I spent about two hours trying on dresses and they were wonderful with advice. When I finally found the one I fell in love with, they didn't rush us into buying or push us out the door. My dress came in quickly and we got to fitting. The seamstress is AMAZING! Because my dress was a lace overlay, she took it apart and even repositioned some of the lace so it still sat perfectly. She suggested a triple bustle and it was so perfect for my dress. She worked with my dress until a week before the wedding, making sure it fit(everyone knows how much your weight fluctuates the few weeks before from stress!!).
I, unfortunately, didn't have the best experience at this salon. The selection of dresses was great, but we weren't too impressed with the quality of service. I found a dress that I really liked, but wasn't ready to make a decision yet. The saleswoman originally told me it would take 8 months for the dress would come in - when we told her that my wedding was in 8 months, she said that if I ordered it that weekend, I would be pretty safe that the dress would come in 4-5 months later. It seemed like she was just trying to force the sale. I was from out of town so was hoping to get sized that day so that if I decided on the dress after returning home, I could call and order the dress and she'd have my measurements. She said she couldn't take them unless I was definitely getting the dress so would have to come back to have that done - she then said if I was really serious, she could take them that day "but she'd get in a lot of trouble" for it. Again, felt like a sales pitch. She also told me that if someone else had an appointment if I came in again to get measurements, she wouldn't be able to just leave them to take care of me, because how would I feel if she did that to me. In fact, she did do that to me when some other people came in.
In addition to that, we had a two-hour appointment and still had about 40 minutes left, so my bridesmaid that was with me decided to try on some dresses there. The saleswoman told her that she could only try on a few because our time was up. We were being rushed out when we still had plenty of time left for our appointment! We were very disappointed in this service, and thought I loved the dress I tried on there, I decided not to buy at Sadie's because I didn't feel I'd get the best service.
Sadie's Bridal is the best place to go! I love you Danielle. I reviewed many professionals on this site to check a photographer and saw a couple bad reviews so I thought I'd post about my experience. I love how you knew your customers and developed a relationship with them. While I was there a girl stopped in and asked to try her dress on for her sister. She apologized by just dropping in and without missing a beat or looking at any paperwork, you knew her name and the dress. The girl said she hadn't been in for months which amazed me because you knew every detail about her wedding dress. To other places, us brides are just customers but you really opened your heart to that girl and to me.
Thanks so much for really caring about me and helping me out.
My biggest regret from my Wedding is going to Sadie's Bridal. After I bought my dress there, I had all my Bridesmaids buy their dresses there, I bought my shoes there and opted to have them dyed there and also got alterations done. The first time I ran into trouble was at my first fitting. The seamstress insisted on sewing cups in my dress that I did not want. They ordered the wrong belt so we had to rush order the correct belt... and my shoes were not dyed. They apologized and promised the shoes would be dyed by my final fitting. My Bridesmaids dresses came in in the wrong size also. Girls dresses came in 2 sizes smaller from the size they ordered. So, a couple girls needed to return their dress and rush order new ones. My major problem happened at my final fitting. When I arrived to what should have been a 30 min tops appointment filled with happiness...it was just the opposite. My shoes were not dyed and when I asked the manager Kim why they weren't she gave me an attitude and said the dye just came. This was unacceptable because they had my shoes for about 3 months and promised they would be done by my final fitting. The seamstress sewed my belt on completely loop-sided and caused terrible markings on the front of my dress from where she sewed in the cups- that I did not want. I was upset and while I confronted the manager I had to actually tell her not to raise her voice at me. The owner, Danielle handled the situation somewhat better. We ended up staying there for 2 hours trying to fix what was wrong with my dress. When we left, I still felt uneasy about them having my dress, but they said they were "too busy" to let me come in a few days before the Wedding to try it and and get it steamed. They also said they would have the shoes dyed overnight and I could get them the following day. When I picked them up... It was another disaster. The red dye streaked inside the shoe and had dark red streaks on the sole of the shoe that were noticeable when worn (not to mention most people get pictures of their shoes the day of their wedding) and the diamond gem was not covered during the process and every other gem was now a pinkish tone. When I told them I was again unhappy with the services... They told me I was out of luck because there was not enough time to order new shoes. At that point, I decided to take my dress and get out of there. They tried to charge me over $400 for poorly done alterations and when I refused and walked out with my FULLY paid dress, they told me I was technically stealing it. So 6 days before my Wedding I had a dress that was not steamed, poorly altered that still had markings in the fabric. I had to take my dress an hour away to a place who took me last min to get it fixed. They ended up taking out the cups and fixed the dress and it fit me perfectly- which wasn't the case at Sadie's. After talking to people in the area, a lot of people said Sadie's had either messed up all of their Bridesmaids shoes close to the Wedding and someone even said her MOH's dressed was ruined by them days before the Wedding. To top it all off, instead of contacting me and trying to fix the problems they caused, the owner wrote on her professional facebook wall that I had emotional issues, among other unprofessional statements. My best advice: Brides, please stay clear of Sadie's. They did nothing but add stress to the week before my Wedding. They were unprofessional also. Something no Bride ever needs.
I purchased my wedding dress from here & got a great deal. The staff were extremely nice & professional. I highly recommend them.
Everything was ok at this store until I got my alterations. I asked how much it would be before I got them done there and they said about $160. I went and started getting measured and they did the sides and the cups. Went back to do the heim and I happen to see the computer with my information up and seen that I had a balance of over $400.00! When I asked what that was and why it was that much there was no answer. I told them not to touch my dress anymore and I didn't know why they would tell me it would cost around $160 and it went well over $400. It was a week before my wedding and I had to find someone fast to get it done. Also, when I went to pick up my veil and was just folded in a little bag. You think for the thousands of dollars I spent in this store they would have had it steamed and hanging for my but I had to do it myself when I got home.
I had a very helpful sales consultant and was very happy with my beautiful dress, and the price!
Don't waste your time! I made an appointment for my out of town bridesmaids to try on dresses a few weeks ago. I set up an appointment for 1:00 pm. When we walked in, no one greeted us and no one was at desk, finally we just went
into the room where dresses were. So we are looking around. Someone walks through, saying they'll be "right with us." At 1:20, someone comes in and says for us to look around, pick some things out and they'll set us up in a room to try. We
find looked through and picked out a few different dresses. We hang them on the side so they are ready to go. We wait some more and finally she says she's gonna bring us up to one of the rooms. Then she leaves us saying she will check in with us. I asked if there was any way someone could help with the clipping and all since sample dresses are one size. She says sorry, we are really busy. At this point, it was unclear whether or not she realized I had made an appointment so I clarified by telling her that I had. She said she knew that I had an appointment but "everyone walked in all at the same time." This would be fine except everyone didn't have an appointment. She said they couldn't turn away walk ins. I didn't expect them to, even though proper etiquette requires an appointment. My expectation is that they honored the appointment that they did make and kindly ask those who were walk ins to wait. I assisted the girls in trying on their dresses. However, 20 minutes later no one came back to check on us as promised. This was a miserable experience. Luckily my bridal party is incredibly patient and looked beautiful in all of the dresses they tried on. So we will be ordering elsewhere. Unfortunately, one other customer who was there and ordered a bridesmaid dress was also being treated rudely from one of the 3 store employees. This wasn't in time for her but hopefully this review will save others the aggravation.
