We had our reception at Tekoa on July 20th, 2013 and I can't begin to tell you how amazing our day was. From the moment Kate Sklarski took on our account in February, (Kate was coming in replacing our original coordinator because she took on another position) I knew we were in GREAT hands. She called me within a week to introduce herself and start going over details. Kate made this entire process so incredibly easy for me to the point that I was questioning whether or not it really should be this easy. She was extremely easy to contact and always super prompt in answering any questions I had. Did I mention she made this all SO EASY for me!!??
Now onto the days leading up to our wedding and day of. Kate made our wedding day her top priority and made it clear in letting us knowing that. She went above and beyond to get anything we needed and added amazing personal touches as well. She would send me pictures of set ups along the way and kept me in the loop with every little detail to make sure it was all ok with me. She and her staff did an AMAZING job with setting up. Our room and cocktail hour space looked breathtaking!!!
Tekoa did an absolutely amazing job with our reception and did not, I repeat DID NOT miss a single beat. I guess I should also mention that we had 400 guests!
With that many people, and for our reception to go as perfectly as it did, I cannot thank Tekoa, Kate and the staff enough. I was lucky enough to run into the owner, Dan, towards the end of the night to tell him how amazing our day was. People are still calling our parents to tell them that they had never been to a wedding like ours. The food, although my husband and I did not have a chance to eat, was delicious! So many people commented on how good their meals were and that was very important to us and our families, both coming from European backgrounds. There was PLENTY of staff to go around with our huge party. Drinks never stopped flowing and dinner was timed perfectly.
We are so happy to have had our reception at Tekoa and wish we could re-live that night over and over again. Thank you Tekoa for putting on an AMAZING night for our huge, crazy Greek and Polish wedding! Kate - you and your staff are amazing!

Tekoa Country Club was the site of our recent wedding. Both my husband (I can now say HUSBAND!!!!) and I were extremely impressed with the flawlessness of the day, but were sure that we were biased in our opinions and felt that in the whirlwind of the day, we must've overlooked some things that our guests noticed. As we spoke with our guests, we kept hearing similar stories: "I've never been to a wedding before where everything went perfectly...until yours," "The food was delicious - tender steak, hot meals, tasty," and most of all "Kate was absolutely amazing!" Kate Sklarski is the wedding coordinator at Tekoa and she truly went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding went perfectly. From the beginning, Kate made herself readily available to answer any and all questions I had in remarkable time. She walked us through the big details of the day so that all major decisions were ours, but took it upon herself to add the extras that truly made the night perfect. For example, she went out and bought bug spray and citronella candles for the outdoor deck to protect our guests from the mosquitoes. She personally checked in on guests throughout the night to see how they were doing and if there was anything they needed. I truly feel like Kate did everything she could to give us the absolute nicest wedding possible for the price we paid, and then she found ways to make it even better. Everyone I have spoken with from our wedding had a positive interaction with her. If there were more stars to give, I would certainly give Kate Sklarski and Tekoa Country Club a hundred stars!

Tekoa was amazing! They worked with us to make sure that our day was everything we wanted. All of the staff was simply amazing, but especially Kate Sklarski. Every complication that came up she handled like a true professional, and she worked so hard to make sure that I wasn't stressing out over anything. The food was delicious, even the professional chefs on our guest list were raving about it. The grounds were beautiful, and everything from the front entrance to the bathrooms was spotlessly clean. Our experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend Tekoa Country Club as a venue!

When we first started the planning process, we looked at many area venues. None of them seemed to be THE place, especially since we wanted to have our ceremony on site. We toured Tekoa and immediately knew. The reception room is perfect. There are no little nooks or crannies, and the ceiling is all one height. Some place had oddly shaped rooms and not all guests would be in the same spot, some would be in the back section around the corner with the lower ceiling, and that was not going to work for us. The ceremony site at Tekoa is also gorgeous. The back drop consists of a beautiful wooden fence, tall pine trees, and the golf course.
We had specific things in mind, such as a candy bar, a flip flop table, DIY centerpieces. We showed Kate how we wanted them, and they were done to perfection.
The food was delicious. It was hot, unlike some weddings I've attended where the food arrives already cold. Everything was bursting with flavor and many guests complimented on the food.
Kate, the banquet manager, was there to help us with anything and everything. If we needed vendor recommendations, advice, or just someone to talk to and de-stress, she was available.
The bar made delicious mixed drinks :)
Overall, it was a perfect wedding. Everything went smoothly and better than I could have ever dreamed of! Only downside is how fast the day really does fly by!!!

We couldn't of asked more for our wedding day! Tekoa Country Club was the perfect venue! Kate was amazing every step of the way! When Kate started the job she was there to assist with everything! She has abundant years of experience and was able to provide her input and guidance when needed! We had an outdoor ceremony and it was set up perfectly! Awesome place for pictures and the atmosphere is peaceful. The room was set up exactly as described and they worked on it the night before so we were able to get a sneak peak! The staff was wonderful and kind! They were prompt when assisting and were great to the kids! Kate was there for every moment of our wedding (even when one of the groomsmen got sick, she had someone go get him medicine and it was accomplished within 10 minutes)! She kept the flow perfect all day long and not one thing was missed. I would recommend Tekoa Country Club to anyone who is thinking of getting married. Their prices were reasonable and for the service that was received, honestly seemed like a steal for us!!! Thank you Kate and Tekoa Country Club for a dream wedding!!! Love, The Malloy’s

We can not be happier about our choice of Tekoa Country Club for our Wedding Reception. From the day we reserved the date, to the end of our Reception, we recieved the best service. Kate Sklarski, the banquet manager, was absolutely terrific. She kept in contact with us and always offered ideas and solutions that made planning our wedding enjoyable. On our actual Wedding Day it poured rain and was a chilly 48 degrees out. We had an outdoor ceremony planned at a local park. Due to the weather, the ceremony was held indoors at the park, and all our guests departed the park in a hurry because of the rain. Kate and her staff had everything ready to go for us in a snap. Our reception flowed beautifully, with Kate coordinating all of the festivities. The food was served in a timely manner and it was hot and delicious! The bar and wait staff were courteous and smiling and made all of our guests feel welcome.
We honestly did not have one single complaint about our wonderful day. Everything ran smooth and without a hitch. We will recommend Tekoa Country Club to anyone we know planning a special function. Thank you so much for making our Wedding Day stress free and so much fun!

Where to even begin on how amazing Tekoa Country Club truly is for a wedding, or any function. There staff is so friendly and flexible. The one person I spent the most time with there was Kate who is the wedding coordinater at Tekoa. Let me tell you she is genually the kindest most thoughtful person! She will go out of her way to make sure that your special day is everything you have dreamed of and more! I highly recommend Tekoa Country Club for your wedding venue. It's ten stars from me!

Our day was awesome at Tekoa CC. The weather on our wedding was spotty (raining on and off). Kate, my coodinator was communicating with me through out the day to see if I preferred to have the wedding outside or inside. In the end she scrambled and we were able to have the wedding outside. Not only that, Kate catered to everything we needed. Her and her staff set up the hall exactly how I envisioned it. The food was hot and delicious and came out very fast. She made sure my dress looked perfect! Also, the timing of the wedding was great. I didn't want my guests sitting around bored, and she kept the wedding moving. All in all, I thought Tekoa and their staff was excellent. The venue is beautiful too. I would definitely recommend to my friends having their wedding at Tekoa.

Tekoa did a great job of making sure we had everything or if we needed anything. The wedding coordinator Kate would always get back to me with any questions I had and even let me vent to her when I thought I was overwhelmed. They kept everything on time and kept things moving even with two weddings going on in the venue one of which was mine. I'd recommend them to anyone!
