The venue is beautiful on the inside, with nice soft lighting from beautiful chandeliers. The event staff is amazing!!! The food is incredible. We had many upgrades to our food. We went to a tasting with all of their basic food options, and while everything was very good, we wanted something a little different. With our upgrades, we were not able to do a tasting, which made me a little nervous, but the food turned out better than I could have imagined. We served filet mignon and prawns. The prawns were huge and definitely worth the price of the upgrade. Many of our guests told our parents that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had.;The exterior of the building is not very attractive. It is what it is. Don't be deterred by it, unless you're adamant about having lovely views for pictures. The interior is beautiful, and our reception felt grand and intimate at the same time.

I really like the manager-she was really nice to work with. And I really liked our banquet hall and the fact that you can get a package deal for a reasonable price-dj, cake, simple center piece was all included. You do have to use them as the caterer though which was fine. I loved our reception site.

Complete package deal. Lots of space. Loved the colors, carpet, wall, ceiling, chandeliers, etc.;The Manager Diane wants to run every wedding the same. PUSH for what you want. She'll tell you, we'll try but make it clear YOU ARE PAYING. Also the DJ that's included with the package is good, because evryone's dancing all night long but he doens't download songs you requested that he doesn't already have, he won't tell you that he doesn't have a song until the night of your wedding when it's too late and then he won't play half of your requests. OH and he forgot to do my bouquet and garter toss until almost the end of the reception.

It was beautiful especially at night with the chandaliers and my flowers and candles. The ceremony was held on the third floor and then the guests just traveled down one flight of stairs (or elevator) to the reception.;Dont book a wedding planner as they have one that will be used on the day of, not so much for planning along the way.

*We loved how everything was handled for us and how it included so much for the price. We didnt have to stress about flowers or finding a DJ and cake. The centerpieces turned out beautiful the cake was delicious and the music was complemented many times. Not to mention the dinner was really good too.;*The coordinator didnt help us out much on the day of the event. Which made for little things like the cake cutting awkward. *The cake place made great cake but they were pushy and annoying not to mention they gave us the cake stands and tray and told us to bring them back clean or we'd have to pay for them which wasnt mentioned in our contract. *Unfortunately we paid extra for one of the cake layers which was never served. It would have been nice if people were given the option for which kind of cake they'd like.

The staff at the Historic Del Monte were fabulous. They were extremely helpful to us. The place itself was perfect for us. Not too fancy, but not too plain. We had plenty of room to dance which we really love to do. The food was excellent! We would recommend this place to anyone with no problems!
