My husband and I had our September 28th 2012 wedding at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle and we are so glad we did! We wanted somewhere unique and memorable – not your typical banquet hall or country/golf club that every other wedding uses. And Morton fit that description perfectly! First off, the venue itself is STUNNING. You can see that from the minute you pull into the parking lot. There are several areas to have your wedding, all of which are beautiful in there own way. We had our ceremony outside in the Hedge Garden and our reception in the Ginko Room. The Hedge Garden is beautifully groomed and well cared for. All the plants and greenery makes for a perfect ceremony location. The Ginko Room is amazing!! One wall is floor to ceiling glass overlooking a quiet lake surrounded by large trees. It was picture perfect. You are surrounded by nature here which makes for AMAZING pictures! Plus, they had pumpkins and hay bales out, and the leaves were just starting to change which was perfect for our fall theme. Second, the staff and coordinators couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant to work with! I worked with Margaret (main coordinator) and Barbara (food coordinator). Whenever I had a question (and I had a lot), they were always quick to respond via email or phone. We got so many compliments on our venue, appetizers, and dinner, I was so happy! People especially loved the cake! The prices vary greatly depending on where you have your ceremony and reception and what kind of food you select but overall, they are comparable to other places and you get your money’s worth! I had a beautiful wedding that I still, over a month later, am getting compliments on! I HIGHLY recommend Morton Arboretum! :) If you are looking for something different, beautiful, and memorable check them out! You won’t be disappointed!

I never was a girl that dreamt about her wedding...until I visited Morton Arboretum! I saw the high ceilings, modern setup and stunning views of the woods from the wall of windows and was speechless. I knew Orientation Hall and the Gingko room were 100% me and my now husband. Then we stopped by in the winter and saw the Christmas trees and all the lights, it made me cry, which I NEVER CRY! I can't say enough about the staff either, Elana and Denise made it so easy on us. Even when I was making last minute changes the week of the wedding, they didn't bat an eye and had it taken care of. They were friendly and quick to respond. It was like we were old friends. I could not tell you how many people have told me, my husband and our families how stunning our reception was. I do have to say, I was ADAMIT about not having a reception at a location with a room rental fee, Morton Arboretum blew me away from the start that I reworked our budget to have that location and I’M SO HAPPY I DID!

I just had my wedding at the Hedge garden & Gingko dining room and I just wanted to say they were amazing to us. They offer an amazing array of catering service and I had a hard time narrowing this down. Everyone love the food and the venue and they were so accommodating to us. They were so helpful during the wedding that I just couldn't ask for anything more. The service was so on time without interrupting the flow of the wedding. Brenda was fab and so was Kim as I was planning everything. It could not be a more perfect day for us and I am so glad we choose this venue. Our photo couldn't have turn out more beautiful.

The Morton Arboretum played a major role in making our wedding so perfect. It was a pleasure to work with Margaret and Brenda in planning the venue and catering of the food, liqueur, and cake. Their all inclusive pricing made it very affordable and the service was impeccable. The food was fantastic and The Cakery provided a beautiful and delicious cake. We had a small wedding of 26 and reception dinner in the Founders Room, which was stunning with wood paneling, huge lit fireplace and leaded windows. The Arboretum staff quietly and competently took care of everything and all the guests were as impressed as my husband and I were. We also appreciated that during the planning and the day we never felt any less important than a wedding for 200. Thank you Morton Arboretum!

The location is breathtaking and sells itself. Our day turned out to be cold, and what was originally planned as an outdoor wedding had to be moved inside. The staff allowed me to make that call in the final hours and was totally accomodating and able to handle getting it ready in either location. Even the indoor backup plan was stunning in terms of natural beauty. Very helpful staff. The Arboretum is open to the public, which some might find inconvient, but I though it was kind of fun. I received lots of well wishes from everyone!
