A little too small for the US though:( Piazza Navona At the top of the Duomo in Florence Gorgeous Vernazza in the Cinque Terre, a true treasure to visit! Venice- our favorite city! On the Rialto Bridge Our last night in Venice and my favorite pic of us! This is our engagement picture, we loved getting the background of the city behind us, even though we were freezing our butts off! This is Jeremy and I this Memorial weekend at a friend's wedding! The following four pics are where the ceremony and reception are going to be held. It's fantastic, we love the character the room has that you can't find anymore. we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. The pictures don't show it very well but there are murals on the walls in the hallway and detailed painting on the wood beams! Plus the location is fabulous, right on Michigan Ave. So guests will have tons to do! This is the dress I have decided on.It's by Reem Acra and it's called Ivy and part of the rose collection. Detailed shot of the embroidery? This is a detailed shot of my earrings. Here's a shot of my earrings and headpiece together. I got them at All For Love on Lincoln Ave. in Chicago, they are by Thomas Knoell. I was able to customize the crystals and pearls, etc that I wanted on them. It's much brighter than it looks in this pic. The following pic shows much better how bright the silver is. There are clear crystals, black crystals and pearls all over it. And these are the shoes I bought from myglassslipper.com! I love them! This is Fi's wedding band! CAKE IDEAS This is the cake we have decided on doing. We will lay flowers in reds and orange's around the base of it.. Almost everyone has this bustle in their bio, but it would look fantastic on my dress! HAIR IDEAS This is the style I have decided on! I like the simplicity since my dress and headpiece have so much going on! Makeup Trial w/Mary from MAC on Oak St.-HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The first two pics are of me with the makeup done, the third pic is of the same makeup with some fake lashes added on. I didn't think I would like them, but after trying them I think they added the extra oomph it needed. I loved, loved, loved the way I looked! This shot above looked like a bad driver's license photo! Last shot with the fake lashes! Hair trial pics. It's not perfect, but I'm not worried about it for that day. We had to take it down and start over a few times till we got it the way we liked it so it's a little flatter and frizzier than it will be, but it gives an idea of what it will look like.Also, the headpiece will be tucked into my hair better on the big day! Here's a front shot, again it's kinda flatter than it will be on the wedding day. I also have my earrings on it this shot, kinda hard to see from that angle though. Here's a veil shot. Again, not great but gave me an idea of the look. I'm only wearing it for the ceremony. It's a cathedral length circle cut, so the blusher and back are all one piece so it's less poofy. She didn't attach it in this pic it's just placed behind my headpiece. FLOWERS These are so me! Love the look of this for the ceremony! thanks Shoogerpea! This is our invite, It's peweter in color with white font, we are changing the font to the script they used on the names so it looks more formal. The response card is the reverse of the invite, opalescent white with grey script. The silver card in the background is the lining for the envelope. Pic from my first shower on 8/22/04 with my two Matron's of Honor (my older sisters'). Learning the art of displaying the gift!!! The excitement is undeniable in this pic, we got the Roomba Vac from my mom!!! FI's loves his new toy! Finally, our beautiful Ketubah we picked out that the hostesses purchased as our shower gift. It's so beautiful, we're really pleased with the way it turned out!!! These are pics of the second shower on August 29, 2004. This is my mom on the left and FMIL on right. I got my calphalon set!!! Yeah! Look at that bouquet of bows!!! It's huge! My sisters' and I. More pics to come, I'm waiting for my sister who had the better pics to get them to me! This is our china/everyday dishes. I think they are formal if used with all the nice stemware but also casual enough to use everyday with our everyday glasses, etc. Kate Spade McCormick Square is the pattern. This is the accent plate that is sold seperately, but when used intead of the teacup and saucer or butter plate it is much more fun and casual.
