Engagements
Our engagement portraits, taken in San Antonio by our wonderful photographer Marcus Revilla (www.marcusrevilla.com/info@marcusrevilla.com)

One of my favs. :) I'm noticing a bit of a 'kissing' trend...
The Rings

My beautiful engagement ring! Josh spent all of his free time when he was in India researching diamonds, and the 4 C's. He knows more about diamonds than I do now! My ring is princess cut (square) and platinum. I adore it.
My eternity round cut diamond wedding band.
The complete set! Sorry the picture is so blurry.
This is Josh's very simple, platinum wedding band.
Ceremony Site

This is our church- the San Jose Mission in San Antonio, Texas. Its the most gorgeous place and we both just felt "different" standing up by the altar.
Reception Location
Our new, and hopefully final, reception place, The Redberry Mansion.
Our caterer is setting up the round tables all around the pool. Excuse the ugly weather!
This is where we plan on having the dance area. It is going to be so gorgeous eating surrounded by a beautiful lake!
This is the 2nd story balcony I will be using for my bridesmaid brunch the morning we're getting ready.
Our Rolls Royce is the second from the left.
The Cake
This is the gorgeous cake we have choosen! Of course the trim will be either a light pink or chocolate brown. We haven't decided whether or not to put a tradtional cake topper on the top or use our B monogram.
The Bridesmaid's Tea
I threw a Bridesmaid's Tea in honor of my bridal party on March 20th, 2004. The colors of the tea were pink and red. I decided to have it at my apartment instead of a tea shop or restaurant so we could get a more intimate feel. Here is the table setting for the tea. I ended up having to rent a table and linens but it turned out wonderfully! The rental company I used was The Targus Group.
Each place setting had mini pots that Josh and I planted for my bridesmaids. They were our version of personalized place cards.
My version of Martha Stewart's tea boxes and predictions. I personalized the predictions to fit my friends. Some were already married, so I gave them 'baby' predictions. Those that were not got 'engagement and marriage predictions.' Since my younger sisters are in high school and junior high, they got 'hunky boyfriend' predictions! :)
Here is a close up detail shot of the menu cards. The wooden menu card holders were fabricated thanks to my crafty FI. I ordered the paper these were made out of from www.paper-source.com. That place is wonderful since anything paper is my passion!
Here is the wooden tray I made that displays our new monogram! It is made from pink, brown, and white paints, our wedding colors of course!
Close up of the girls mini gift bags. Everything stashed inside fit the theme colors of the tea. The natural colored sinamay bags were ordered from www.weddingtulle.com. The herbal soap was handmade by the future bride and groom. :) We wrapped them up in wax paper and pink paper and the tied them with red ribbon to tie all the colors of the tea in. We sealed the ribbon with the monogrammed stickers we ordered from www.myownweddinglabels.com.
I made each of my guests a mini gift bag. Inside, I included girly essentials- monogramed stationary wrapped in ribbon, a monogramed stamp, lip gloss, a red candle, handmade soap, a pink nail filer, gum, personalize bookmarks, etc. They were a hit with the ladies!! They were tailored for each of my girls. :) I also made potpourri saches for them to put in their closets, car, or drawers, but they wouldn't fit in the bags!
This is the food table. I served buttered croissants, a variety of tea sandwiches, non alcoholic apple sangria, assorted muffins, mini pecan tarts, and pastries from La Madeline.
I borrowed this idea from Martha Stewart. On each tea cup, I tied a mini box. Inside the boxes were sterling silver charms, each predicting the future, ex. You will the next to be married. This was such a hit with the girls!
 The potpourri saches I made.
My sister holding up her gift that I got her for helping me, a monogramed tote from Lillian Vernon.
Here are my guests enjoying the tea party!
This is my younger sister Julie reading her fortune from the tea cups.
Some of my guests working on their Jennifer quiz game.
My sister looking at all of her goodies.
After the tea, we went to Paint Yer Pottery in Richardson.

Bridal Party Dresses
Flowergirl Aniston modeling one of the FG dress choices. If we go with this one, we are getting the pink sash to go around it.
This is the dress we went with. It is from Eve & Ellie. The sash is in pink.
 The sash is in pink.
My sister Stephanie modeling her Maid of Honor dress. We are going to tie a chocolate brown ribbon around her waist. The rest of the bridal party will have the same dress, but in latte brown with a pink ribbon tied around their waists.
Bride's Attire
This is my Oleg Cassini wedding gown. I'm having the straps removed.
 My wedding shoes by Nina.
I recently purchased this vintage art deco bracelet. I think it will look so gorgeous with my dress.

 My Naugi hair comb.(www.naugi.com)
Another view. The comb was made so that I could wear it on top of a chingon instead of on top of my head.
Favors
Glassine envelopes we are using to put our CD favors in.
The end result- our CD favors! The bubbles are pink and brown and match the monogram tray I made!
The is how we will display the favors at the wedding.

Supplies we used for CD favors.
Flowergirl and Ring Bearer Gifts
Will you be my flowergirl? card I made for one of my FG's
I am giving my flower girls these small suitcases full of toys for thier gifts. The color looks more red, but they are brown in person. I ordered these from katespaperie.com
I couldn't even fit all of the toys into the suitcases, so I'll just have to lay them besides them.
Our ringbearer, Johnny is into construction vehicles (typical boy) so instead of a suitcase, we got him smaller version of the lunch boxed construction men use!

Paper Products

Our save the date cards. Although the colors look dark, they are pink and brown, in keeping with our wedding colors. We ordered the paper from www.paper-source.com
Our complete letterpressed invitation set. They turned out beautifully! They were done by Susan Park Ryoo. Page me for her contact info!
The invitation. They were done in a dark chocolate brown on luxe cream cardstock.
 The reception card.
 Response card.
The invitations all ready to go!
An example of my calligraphy on my invitation envelopes. I'm still trying to perfect my method though!
 Another calligraphy example.
Tools I used for my calligraphy, the Martha Stewart Weddings Spring 2003 issue, a calligraphy nib and holder, and gouache paint.
Our rehearsal dinner invitations. We couldn't decided between the colors, so we just got both! From Paper & Presents in Traverse City, Michigan.
Our thank you cards. We wanted to keep it simple, yet tie in our monogram theme.
Our menu cards! We are finally done!
This is how we will display our cards throughout the reception. These are for the sparklers and the postcard basket that will contain postcards for our guests to send to the people back home.
I designed these coasters for the guests to use during the cocktail portion of our reception.
I did a trial run of our ceremony programs. This is not the ribbon we are using for the final product. It was the only pink ribbon we had, so I put it on to see what it might look like.

These are the cards we are using for our Martha Stewart Wedding Wishes bowl. Each card will have our logo on it. Once the wedding is over with, we'll keep the cards in this walnut box for safe keeping.
Miscellaneous
I purchsed these pink boxes from www.chicsweets.com. I have no idea what I'm going to put in them, but I know it will be for my bridal party.
My "Soon to Be" hoodie! You may not be able to tell, but the thread is in pink. It came out so cute!
We are not going to use a traditional wedding pillow for our wedding rings. I have borrowed this wooden box idea from knottie TraciFl. Wonderful ideas in her bio!
My version... we'll see how they turn out when we add the flowers on the wedding day.
These will be our centerpieces. We are only doing them on every other table- it seems too overwhelming to do it on every table.
Since Josh is from Michigan, I want to incorporate cherries into our wedding somehow.
The Wedding Advice Book I made for the rehearsal dinner. Not my best work, but its only for the rehearsal dinner, so I'll have to be ok with it!
The floral monogram we designed for the ceremony decor. It was a very long process, but I love the results! Thanks to H.Lo's bio for this idea. Her bio is fabulous!
The women's bathroom basket. The men's basket has the exact same contents minus the 'girly' products.

 My tears of joy packets.
This is the first trial of our unity candle. I was very particular about these because I did not want something ornate and gaudy. I figured the only way I would like something is if I made them myself. So here is one idea.
 My infamous timeline.
 Our wedding wishbowl.
Doorknobs we are making to put in the OOT baskets. We thought it might be fun to have these on the doors in the hotels where our guest's rooms are blocked. We want everyone to know where the wedding party is! I'll post pictures of the groom's family doorknobs as soon as we get them done!

Cute sticker I had made for my wedding planner binder. I have a collection of the I Love... stickers.
Bridal Shower: January 22, 2005
 Bridal shower invitations
The flower pens I made for the bridal shower. Since the colors of the shower are pink and green, these are perfect!
The advice cards we're using for the bridal shower. We'll set them out right by the floral pens.
I purchased this for my bridal shower.
Picture frames that will decorate the shower.
The punch jars for the shower. We purchased two from Crate and Barrel. The ladels shown are from Crate and Barrel as well.
Another shower favor/gift I made. These will obviously have actual tea inside. This is just a trail run.
Centerpieces for the shower. My sister worked on these and I think they turned out great!
 Top view of the flowers.
I purchased these coordinating napkins for my bridal shower!
My sister and I are making mini bath sea salt containers for my bridal shower favors.

The finished product! The bath salts are infused with peppermint and other essential oils. They smell so yummy!!
The wish cards and "Guess Their Age" game table.
The shower favors- bath sea salts and bath poofs.

 The food table
My cake was modeled after my bridal shower invitations.

A shot of the table settings.

Out of Town Baskets
Trial run of the Out OF Town Hotel gift baskets. We have bought Texas shaped cookie cutters, San Antonio postcards for them to send to friends back home, bluebonnet seeds, bottled waters, my grandma's homemade Mexican Salsa, Mexican worry dolls, attraction guides, Alamo snack cookies, white and red soaps in the shape of Texas stars and a Texas state map. We are going to handmake blue, add chips for the salsa, and Texas sized Jellybeans.
We are making soap stars to put in our OOT baskets. They go along with the Texas theme, and they'll be handmade! :)
I LOVE my sticker maker! They are so much fun to work with! I've used mine here to make the salsa labels for our OOT baskets. Labels on the other side were ordered from www.myownlabels.com
I made these welcome letters to put in each out of town basket. I used a bluebonnet stamp at the top to tie in the Texas theme of our baskets.
The color is a darker blue.
These water bottles will go in the OOT baskets. They compliment the Texas Bluebonnet theme perfectly.
 Details of water bottles.
The Honeymoon
We are honeymooning in St. Lucia. We were originally going to the Galapagos Islands but we decided against it because it was a more adventure type trip instead of a romantic trip! We'll go there for our first anniversary for sure!
This is a picture of our private pool in our villa. Ooh la la!
This is our honeymoon villa at the Stonefield Estate in St. Lucia.
