	About our wedding:   Todd and I met at Washington State University...at a bar. Classy. I know. In my own defense however, it turned out that we had mutual friends and my roomate at the time had met him the night before. That's how I justify it in my own head. On a side note...he lied to me when we first met! He said his name was Tad. I called him that for a month or so. :) We soon started hanging out every night during summer school and I developed a huge crush on him. So....I did what any self resepecting girl does...I told his friends. It was all down hill after that. We spent the remainder of my college days together, hitting up every movie and restaurant from Moscow to Spokane.   After almost three years of dating, Todd asked me to marry him on July 4th, 2006. There were fireworks!!! I must admit it wasn't a total surprise because we had designed a ring together...however, it was still perfect.   I've been a Knot "stalker" for a while now and if I have taken any pictures without your permission let me know and I will either credit you or remove them. Don't mind her "hair" necklace. BCBG Rehearsal dress. These are the dresses! I hated the way they looked on the website but loved how they looked in person. Pic from djrs. And these are a few of the bridesmaids. I like these with either a brown tie or pink to match the dress. I think for pictures, paper parasols for the bridesmaids would be cute. From jsue. We're having two flower girls and I would love them to wear something similar to this. My Something blue. Our save the dates. (Front) (Back) Invite proofs. Still need to finalize this! I have no idea what I want for a cake. I know I want something different and not plain white. I'll probably do some combination of the following cakes. I like the pearlized icing on this. And the shape and overall design of this one. I'd like to put our monogram on the cake as well. The inside has to be as pretty as the outside! Our cake topper. I love these vintage tea tins! Martha's Button Place Cards. My buttons! Brown placecards for buttons. and pink! We're doing either a wish tree or a wishing jar. Well wish cards. Mariah did a great job on these! I have a whole bunch of H's that I thought I was going to put on each table. Now I think the idea is kind of tacky and doesn't go with anything! AHH! Programs that still need a lot of work. Ribbon on the side, rounded edge...I might even make them smaller. Flip flops for the bridesmaids. Not really DIY...but the packaging was! :) I’m making packaging similar to this to put the ecoffeti in. I'm saving toilet paper rolls and covering them with different colored/printed tissue paper. In the end, they'll resemble cracker favors where you just pull off the end and toss the insides. A wonderful idea my florist used for her daughter's wedding. Flower pens. They look pretty realistic in real life. Promise. Table numbers. I'm not going to use the pink glitter numbers anymore...but these are the frames! My cousin is making my ring pillow. Very excited! Lanterns for centerpieces. Flowers will circle the base. These were my inspiration. I have 2 of these exact lanterns..and I'm on the hunt for more! From Netter B. Letters for the church door. Paper lanterns! We are going to do this in pink! Candles everywhere! I bought this chandalier off of e-bay. If I like it, I'm going to order a few more and hang them from the trees at the church. Who knows what I'll do with them after the wedding!? From Soontobemrsstone. I might do something similar to this with the ceremony programs. It might be too much going on outside. We'll see. Birdcage for cards. Rose garland...for something. I bought this on ebay for softdrinks. I should have read the dimensions better. It's waaaay too small! I'm going to use if for the mini candy buffet. Another jar for the candy buffet. I'm not gonna lie....I have so much crap..I don't know what to do with it. We're doing mini cupcakes as favors. Not quite sure how we're going to package them yet. This is my favorite. I want small food at the receoption. Like mini burgers! (proud-bride) And mini grilled cheese! (proud-bride) So excited for the chocolate fountain! For the mini candy buffet. (bnlmel) Customized Jones Soda for the rehearsal dinner. For the out of town baskets. (Bcap) Pre-funking with the maids. Will make for cute pics! We're getting all of the alcohol at the Navy Exchange--no sales tax! I'm crossing my fingers that they carry this brand...it's cheap and cute! On top of doing beer and wine, I think we are going to have a few signature cocktails in the wedding colors. We were originally going to do chocolate chip cookies for favors. With milk. Mini cupcakes won out..but I think I might do them for the bridesmaid luncheon. Markers for the stations. Napkins. Soooo excited for this! We're going to use it in pictures as well as getting around. Custom bobble heads! For Bachelor Party. Toodles! Hair extensions..how I love thee! :) I will have these babies in for the wedding.         Vendor Information Back to Top   Ceremony Location - Magnolia Lutheran Church This is the church I have been going to since we moved to Seattle. It is going to be remodeled in time for the wedding! Yay!   Reception Location - Lake Union Cafe This is our venue, the Lake Union Cafe. It's a great space with a view of water and a really cool decor. I especially love the fact that there is a sunk in dance floor in the middle of the room surrounded by tables and leather booths.   Caterers - Lake Union Cafe Their presentation is really beautiful and they are open to do whatever we like. I really want to have a mashed potato martini bar!!   Cake Creator - Ginny McGavin Cakes I met with one cake person. I said if it tasted good and looked pretty--that's good enough for me. Done deal.   Florist - Pocket Full of Posies Patty Tronquet is lovely and reasonably priced. Very much looking forward to working with her! :)   Photographer - "I DO" Weddings: Images by Jan Loved her pictures, personality and prices. The 3 p's!   Disc Jockey - Dj Daren--DP Productions I had a hard time picking out the dj--but Daren is great! Very personable and witty. He's the fill-in guys for KOMO News traffic.   Musicians - Cameo String Quartet I've very excited for this aspect of the wedding. They sent us a sample cd of their music--and it wasm truly beautiful. They are going to play as guests arrive and depart from the ceremony. I think we're going to have a pianist for the cocktail hour at the reception too!   Transportation - Ford Model T My parents have a friend who (fingers crossed) will let us use their vintage Ford Model T. I think it would look super in pictures!   Invitations - Ille Custom Invitations and Demarco Designs These are both great vendors!   Jeweler - Ben Bridge Jeweler We went through Ben Bridge to design my engagement ring and for my wedding band since we have a family discount there. They did a great job and Todd and I are very pleased with the rings. I'm sure we'll get his wedding band there as well.   My Dress - Marcellas No problems...so far.   Bridesmaid Dresses - Jasmine I hate they way they look on the website...but they look great in real life! :)   Wedding Coordinator - Patty Tronquet Aside from being our "flower lady" she has so many great ideas that she is also our day of coordinator.   Honeymoon Destination - Paris, Italy (all over) and London Soooo excited!
