for the overall look of the event.
We are having a backyard ceremony and tented reception graciously hosted
by my older sister and brother-in-law.

DECOR
tent will be lit with white paper lanterns and we will drape fabric
at the ceiling
we plan to recreate this type of
look at the entrance to the tent
the tent will go up here...

at the left is the inspiration for the centerpieces
and the right is the sample the
florist created with added orchids

my bouquet will resemble this
one, also with added orchids

the boutonnières (pic from
Martha) will be like the one pictured in the middle
and corsages will be orchids in
various colors

I bought white paper bags to
make luminaries to line the walkways around the house

ceremony altar - based on
this one, with white fabric and white orchids
completed, with just 5 days to
go

button Banana Republic suit, it's lightweight cotton with a tan pinstripe.
His shoes are also from Banana
Republic, brown wingtips.

then she made the lining

and now the dress is completed -
just missing the sash

I bought clip on earrings from Ebay - $3.00 & took the backs off, then glued the jewels at the toe

we stuck the envelopes on the
pages and left room for pictures to be added later
