Kim Thompson, Serendipity Special Events- A+: Kim was a joy to work with from the beginning. I hired Kim for partial planning services. Basically she helped me find my remaining vendors and then provided me ANYTHING else I needed. We were in constant contact. She always encouraged me to push my vendors to give me exactly what I wanted. I couldn't have imagined planning the wedding without her. In addition, to being my rock during the planning, she made the day of perfect. I worried about NOTHING. She's a great person.

Fairmont A+: I was married in the Collonade Room, which is a gorgeous space. The walls are mostly glass and there's an indoor gazebo too. Bob was my contact there. He and his team made everything run so perfect the day of. The food was also fabulous. Food was very impt to me and they were very accomodating to my needs. I didn't want the norm. For example, one of the stations during our cocktial hour was a comfort food theme--think mini burgers, mac and chz, grilled, chz, etc. YUM!

Matt Mendelsohn A+: I think my pictures speak for themselves. He's SO talented. He's also incredibly laidback and thus a joy to be around.

John Duffy, Yellowdoor Flowers- A+: I was SO pleased my flowers. They were even more beautiful than I had expected. I was seriously blown away. John met with me several times to ensure that his proposal was exactly what I wanted. I really felt that he wanted me to be happy. John is very nice and very creative. You cannot go wrong with him.

John Farr A+: John and I never met, but I loved the lighting. He did uplighting for our chuppah, the gazebo columns and did pinspotting for our tables.

Angie A+: No surprise to all you DC knotties, Angie is the nicest woman and a fabulous seamstress. She did a great job on my dress and for such a reasonable price. She even suggested giving me a bubble skirt bustle instead of something more traditional. It was a great idea!

Rodney and Andre Chreky A+: I did two trials with Rodney to ensure that I had exactly what I wanted. I was very impressed with everyone at Andre Chreky. After my first trial (when I wasn't 100% pleased) I received a followup email from their coordinator urging me to come back for a second trial at no cost. I was impressed. Rodney did a FABULOUS job the day of. I have limp straight hair and he gave me great volume. Some of my girls and the moms had their hair and make-up done too. They looked beautiful!

Blue Sky Video: I haven't recieved the video yet, but I didn't even notice them the day of which was extremely impt to me. I am looking forward to seeing the finished project. I should note that I have not yet submitted music to them, so the lack of video is not their fault.
