*** Warning, this bio may take a moment to load due to lots of pictures ***

I must say, I picked some damn good vendors. I really don’t have any complaints on anything. Everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined.

I wasn’t planning on doing a wedding bio, but I used so many great vendors I really want people to see some new work. So often, you see waves of favorite vendors sweep through the knot, and people don’t often think there are others out there. I picked a few of my major vendors off of no referral whatsoever and I am so glad I did! Please consider, when you are booking, just because a vendor does not have 100 recommendations from brides to be on the knot, doesn’t mean they aren’t fabulous as well. And also remember, you are taking recommendations from brides to be whose experience with them may be only what they hear from other brides or from the vendor themselves, rather than seeing their work performed at a wedding.

Feel free to page me with any questions!

Chaos.

Our videographer making sure to get the shoes on tape.

I have to point out I am a hair dresser, and yet I managed to wear a shirt that doesn't come off over my head.

My Bm's ripping my shirt off...

Taking forever to button the damn thing up..luckily I have my trusty cocktail

There was blood on my dress from one of my BM's finger....so many small buttons.

Man of Honor

One of the Flowergirls showing off her shoes.

DH walked my mother down the aisle. This is her "shark suit" as he calls it. It was a fabulous dress but as DH walked her down the aisle, she kept getting it caught on the flowers....we can't wait for this video.

My Moh's: Man of Honor and Maid of..

I wasn't comfortable with the "Who gives this girl away" crap...so I told my uncle, who married us, to be creative.
So, he asked my dad if he was ready to get rid of me and my dad said, yes, it is about damn time.

This is the hug that ripped out my veil. Thank god!!

There goes my veil

We did a sand ceremony to include the kids

This is one of my favorite pictures of us....for some reason.

Isn't my DOC the best!!!! :)

From the flowers to the location and from the reception tables to the stationairy. All the details only a knottie could appreciate.

We used a set of vintage wedding salt and pepper shakers on each table. My Grandma who has passed had a collection of over 600 shakers, so it was a way of honoring her.

Our Programs, Designed by Knottie Lovehimsomuch

Guest Book Table

This was the centerpiece for the cocktail tables set up outside.

The ONLY thing DH did for the wedding was requesting a 19 hole w/ beer be set up on the grass. At first I was horrified, but it looks super cute! I bought miniature Ice chest and 3 6 packs of Bud Light (His favorite)

Table Cameras

We printed and framed our E-pics to line one side of the bridge. The other side was lined with our framed baby pictures.

Close up of place settings. Donation Favors thanks to Knottie: Lovehimsomuch

Guest Tables

Sweetheart Table

Sweetheart Table

Me outside smoking with half of my vendors.....Why am I not with my guests?

Secret Red Bull Stash.....D was secretly making me Red Bull cocktails all night...but he got so annoyed with me because I kept setting them down and losing them...when I asked him for another one, he pulled out the entire box and handed it to me in the middle of the reception.

DH is taunting me here....."Eat it come on"....but I am laughing because he is saying it so oddly, I think he is up to something....even though he assured me he would put it cleanly into my mouth.....

Father Daughter/Mother Son Dance

No one can figure out what they are doing this for.......we assume it is something I am doing.....

Chocolate cake with Bailey's's Chocolate mousse....oh my god to die for!!!!!

MOH #2 fixes my makeup...right in the middle of the reception....This is pure class at it's best..

My MOH had gone outside and saw DH's daughter....so he asked her to dance...I guess she got a snobish look on her face and said "Um, no thank you." My photographer caught them right after this so they both looked at her and smiled....

I tried to avoid it all night, I swear........Saddly we LOVE this picture, we think it came out killer with the light...I just wish it didn't involve something so bad.....

From this point on...I don't know what happened to DH...my MOH's and I danced the night away and DH was busy with his own nonsense......

Comming Soon!

Venue: Rancho Las Lomas www.rancholaslomas.com
Gorgeous, fabulous, fantastic, ect. The people were absolutely wonderful to work with although I have heard the contrary from others…but I had a great experience.

Caterer: Craig’s on the Table: AAA+++
Amazing food. And, they did everything for us!

Photography: AAAAAAAA+++++ Britney Photography www.britneyphotography.com
I really can’t say enough about her. My pictures turned out better than I ever anticipated. I never gave her a must take list and she got everything I would have wished for and more. I had my album and pro pics back a tad over a month from my wedding and I have gotten more compliments on my pictures. I know a lot of you knotties tend to stick with the one or two vendors you see frequently on the boards, but there are other great ones out there!!!!!!!!

Florist: A+++++ Karla with Elegant by Design.
I cannot say enough about her. My flowers were absolutely stunning. I had my centerpiece designed from the get go and then freaked out at the last minute changing them…..I emailed her a picture and my frantic email and she set up a meeting and had samples of each for me to choose…She is so sweet and helpful.

Videography: Joe @ Today’s the Day Weddings http://www.ttdweddings.com/
Pending, but so far has been fabulous as well. I can comment on my photo montage and that came out fabulous.

Screen & Equipment rental for montage: AAA++ Audio Video Usa
We were referred to them by Joe @ TTD. Prompt and great service. Very efficient.

Cake: AA Sussane with Sweet Art http://www.sweet-art.com
The best cake I have ever had….A little on the pricey side but worth it. The only issue I had was she altered our design a tad bit without my knowledge. We contacted her after the wedding with the issues and she promptly responded with her explanations. They were totally valid and made sense, however, I wish I would have known prior.

DJ: AAA+++ Mike Carroll with Invisible Touch http://www.invisibletouchdj.com/.
Did a fabulous job. Were great to work with. Did everything I asked. Had everyone up and moving the whole night.

Invitations: Sugar Press in Tustin: AA++
Ah, invitations, my nightmare. I was in and out in 10 minutes…need I say more? J Fabulous invitations and they turned out beautiful!

Calligraphy: Monica Nirenburg AAAAA+++
Gorgeous writing. Very reasonably priced. Easy to work with. I don’t have a sample of my invites in my bio, but she did my place cards as well, which you can see.

Dress: Mary Me Bridal in Orange marymebridal.com AAA+++
I purchased my dress here as well as alterations (Bustle only) I bought the second of two dresses I tried on. J Loved my sales lady (If only I could remember who she was). I got my alterations done as well here. They came out perfect. Bustle lasted all night. And reasonably priced despite some reputations of bridal store alterations. I suggest asking J

Shoes: Kate Spa AA++
My inspiration for the entire wedding. I then switched to a pair of thongs later in the night for dancing…

Veil: Candi Merle AAA+++
Loved her as well. I finally found a veil I may be able to tolerate….and sent her the picture. She actually turned me down because she wasn’t sure she could replicate it – which I totally respect. Rather than selling herself for a dollar, she was honest. . I told her she could try and see what happens, (I was not paying $500.00 for the veil in store). She did and it turned out identical to the original and for less than less than a ¼ of what it was priced originally.

Make-up: Carina Lindgren www.beautifulbride.us AAAAA+++++
As always; Loved my makeup. I hired her to stay through ceremony and through pictures and was so glad I did. I would recommend doing that.

Jewlery: Sparkles Forever.com: A and F
Bought all my jewelry from them…loved the jewelry and the quality, however, pick wisely. Returns aren’t easy…..actually refunds aren’t easy……

Programs & Favor cards: Knottie: Lovehimsomuch. AAA+++
I sent her a picture of my centerpiece for colors and she what seemed almost instantly had a proof sent back to me J I didn’t need to change a thing.

Printing for the above: Staples, and then Kinkos. Staples: FFFFFF
Horrible color and crooked cutting (Totally obvious it wasn’t like it was so small they couldn’t see it) I b!tched and complained and they told me they would refund the charge for the cutting since it was effed up but I still had to pay for the printing since that was ok. What?!??!! How the F are they still useful when they are crooked….anyway…I took them to Kinko’s and the printing was fabulous and I cut and folded myself.

We took our epictures at Cook Corner.
My Makeup is a little dark, but oh well! I have to say I LOVE my photographer!!!!! Our personalities match just right and we had the best time doing our E-pics.

Had to start at the bar. First date was here, and it is what we do best, sit back with a cold beer and relax with each other and chat.

More at the Bar

FH feels comfortable, he is already talking sh*t to our photographer.

HA She wasn't having any of it and got him with a killer come-back! I am loving it!!

Shoved in the Phone Booth.

Now talking sh*t to me

Part annoyed but attempting to smile for the camera

Relax

All Better
