	About our wedding:   About Us Josh and I started dating in September of 2003. We were together for a year when he proposed. It was the sweetest thing. He proposed at a local damn. I was completely surprised. We were married on September 9, 2006. It was a perfect day. I couldn't of asked for anything more. I married my best friend. We went on our honeymoon to Cozumel, Mexico. Since we have been married things are great. We work well together. We ahve been working on making our townhouse "home" with some remodeling projects. We both work full time and attend school. so our time together is very special to us. We are kinda dorks and still have "date night" every Friday. Other than that we are just as normal as we can be. Sure we had a ton of hurdles to get over before the big day. The weather was great. Sure it was in the lower 80's but that was better than the 90's. We were married in a family friends backyard right on the lake. Only one boater came by during the ceremony and our Justice did perfect by stopping until after teh boat came by. The ceremony was short, just like Josh wanted. We had a big party afterwards. There was the reception at the lake and then an after party at my parents house. Back to Top We went to Cozumel, Mexico for seven wonderful days. We had perfect weather all but one day. We stayed at teh Iberstar and I would go back in a heartbeat. This "little" guy greeted us at our room. At first I was freaking out but he was just as scared of us as I was of him. He stayed in the tree outside our room the rest of the time. So sad to be leaving....         Vendor Information Back to Top   Ceremony Location - Family Friends The location was perfect. We had some problems with our other venue and we changed two days before the wedding. I made a good decision when it came time to move the location. A+   Officiant - County Justice of the Peace She did such a wonderful job. We had so many men cancel on us due to the ut vols game being at home and everyone seems to have season tickets. Teresa was able to fill in at the last minute. She did wonederful. She paused when a motor boat came by so everyone would be able to hear the vows. She made the ceremony simple just the way we wanted it. A+   Cake Creator - GRRRR I am not going to mention where I got the cake because I know the vendor lurks on here. She didn't give me what I asked for. I truely believe that she just went to wal-mart and ordered the cake and then threw together the ridiculous cake stand at the last minute. I wanted a 3-tiered cake but I didn't want the tiers to be seperated. And the top was lopsided. It was like it shifted on the way over. F   Florist - DIY I ordered 200 roses in miracle and ariana. They were perfect. I followed the instructions and put together the bouquets, bouts, and coursages.   Photographer - Paula Honaker Paula was a great find. I wanted to have full access to all my pictures. I didn't want to have to choose certain prints to have. She took about 300 pictures at the wedding. She asked if I wanted them edited in any way and I said no. I wanted to be able to choose how the pictures were edited. She had no problem with that and even gave me software to finish the photos up. A+   Videographer - Carson Waugh   My Dress - David's Bridal I can't compalin. They gave me exactly what I wanted, service was great considering I was picky and in a bad mood when I got there. The dress came in on time. I had everything come from David's my shoes, slip, bra. I also had my alterations done there. A   Bridesmaid Dresses - David's Bridal The girls loved the dress. The sizes worked out great. We were able to take one back in sept when my MOH had to cancel due to health reasons. They gave me a full refund.
