We are having our wedding on the island Maui where I was born and raised. My family still lives there, while my FI and I live on Oahu. However, I'm still a Maui girl at heart.
I started collecting pics from a while back. We are going for an elegant, fairytale style wedding with a bit of local flavor. However, since we're on a tight budget and Hawaii's prices are so crazy, I'm doing a lot of the stuff myself including planning. I guess wedding planning has made me a DIY kind of gal. Also, I'm so sorry if I ua 'aihue "stole" your pics. Please page me on the Hawaii board or leave a message on my shoutbox at the end of my bio if you would like me to give you credit or remove the pic. The Knot has been a tremendous help to me in my wedding planning so feel free to use my pics just please credit me. Mahalo.

The Proposal

He proposed on March 12, 2004. He asked my family's permission and then surprised me by having my mom help him learn our native language so that he could propose to me in Ilocano. This pic was taken literally minutes after. Can you see the tears still in our eyes? He was so cute. He had to ask and make sure I did say yes. He did a reproposal on the night of my graduation party. He, again, got down on one knee and proposed to me in front 100 of my family and friends. Not bad for a guy who is really shy.

My E-ring! He picked it out all by himself. I'm such a lucky girl!

May 20, 2005 - We had to get the diamond remounted since we couldn't find a band that would fit snugly next to my ering. We finally found a set we liked!!!! We had it custom made and here is the set!!!!!! I am soooo excited.
Before I put the ering on he surprised me by getting down on bended knee and proposed again for the third time!!!! Three proposals...all from the perfect man!!! We got all teary-eyed again. I feel so blessed!!!! Here it is on. And his wedding band. He wanted something simple.

Fun Pics

Taken during our Disney vacation. Hehehe...just wanted to see what it would look like.

Halloween 2004. He won 1st place and I won 2nd place in the costume contest. He is so creative! He loves goofy pictures.

NWR: Just a few more fun pics. Dancer at heart. Our group is available to do shows. Page for more info.

Our group performed at the Hawaii Bowl.
Our GTG at Don Ho's. netsirkx, me, Blue_Hawaii, and Plumeriagurl...and our men of course.

Our Furbabies!!!! We got them just last month. I have been wanting a little Chihuahua for years. My FI took me to the petstore to "visit" the puppies as he does when I'm feeling blue. I picked one up and the little one fell asleep in my hands. My FI knew it would make the perfect wedding gift! I kept that little guy who fell asleep in my hands and got another one so that they could play together. And that's how we got Maka and Li`i. They were 8 weeks old! They are 1/8 Toy Fox Terrier and 7/8 Chihuahua.
This is Li`ili`i. He is the runt of the litter and he is such a rascal. He is the one that fell asleep in my hands. Cutie pie!

And this is Maka. He has green eyes hence his name. He is much more shy but a great eater!
