Stationary Reception Vendor List

Looking at bios is one of my favorite pastimes. Thanks to all the knotties who have helped inspire me with pictures, tips and ideas. You guys are wonderful!

This is at Great America after a water ride about a year after we met (not the greatest quality but it*s a favorite picture of mine.)

Soooo cute. I *love* it.

More enchanting pink!

We finally decided on a bridesmaid dress and color: Bill Levkoff style 351 in Euro Berry. I like to think of it as a cross between my light pink and espresso (another color we thought about.) Here is the bridesmaid dress modeled on my beautiful sister, Jaclyn. (She*d kill me if I put a real photo in here.)

Where oh where can my perfect dress be? Oh where oh where can it be? I really loved this Australian bustle

and I still love this blue sash.

Here it is my *dream* dress (AND dream body).

TADA! I never ever thought I would find you. My gorgeous, my darling you are the one: Christina Wu 5396. Seen here in gold on white. My dress will be white on white.

Here she is modeled on my gorgeous sister, Angella.

Beautiful detail on the hem of my dress.

My beautiful shoes

Shoes to change into when my feet start hurting.

Loving this.

My garter from Angel Threads with our intials and our wedding date.

Love the look of these veils. Courtesy of Jennifer and knottie Sulla.

Hair ideas for front and back.

Photos from my first (and only) hair trial (but less mess, of course.)

Quick and easy idea: The bridesmaids sign the bottom of the brides shoes before the big day. The girls name who appears to be the MOST worn by the end of the night is the next one to be married.

These polka dot favors were created by knottie Lizzie Eicher. I love polka dots (and we thought about doing these favors at one time.) Lizzie is putting M&Ms in the tins and they will double as nameplates (the labels are clear to see the M&Ms). She has matching CDs, invites, etc.

We are creating our own music CDs as one of our favors. Maybe pink polka dots or maybe something a bit simpler like this. I bought some baskets like these to display our CD favors for guests to take at their leisure. Pictures coming soon.

We are also having yummy Happy Cookies at our wedding and couldn*t be more delighted! This is what they will look like (minus the box, plus a cute tag.)

I*ve fallen in love with these glasses. We could (hypothetically, I*m dreaming all this stuff) have our monogram on one side with the date, and Cheers! and our name on the other. Update: I wish, but these are not going to happen. Poo.

These wedding programs are gorgeous.

We are now thinking of doing our programs like this with an engagement photo. The quote is also perfect.

I wasn*t into the whole monogram thing until I saw this one. Pretty cool, huh? This was designed by knottie clary for JodiEzrin, also a knottie.

We went to a photo booth in Canada in March 2004. We had a lot of fun. We messed up the order of the cards and I was laughing so hard I was crying. We decided to use our first try in the photo booth for our actual Save the Date (STD) cards. (It*s a little less hot pink and blurry IRL. The color is more the color of the sticker. I don*t know why the color turned out so funky here.)

We are including magnets for the fridge

stickers for the calendar (we*re sealing the envelopes with these too)

and a little card explaining both (drawn by my talented FI).

This is what it looked like bundled together. We included an engagement photo and tied it with a pink ribbon.

Here are my Will you be my bridesmaid? cards. The card says, Good friends never go out of style. I gave them these cards along with a pair of fun shoes.

And here is the inside.

Our invites! (color is a tad off)

Our RSVP postcards! (color is even more off here, it*s actually the colors above, but flipped the circles are the invite*s background and the background is the color of the invite*s circles) The front is white with polka dots addressed to me.

Our envelopes and how we lined them.

The invitation mess.

We made coasters for our Canadian social. You would not believe how much work these babies took.

Here is a mock up of our place cards (movie tickets).

I love this idea for table numbers. Since neither of us like to have our picture taken we are doing names of movies.

Another idea I got from Lizzie (and have decided against) is to have a guest book at each table along with an izone camera. Guests can take their own sticker picture and add it to the book along with a message. I like the idea of guest having things to do before dinner (don*t want guests getting bored.)

Along the lines of what our OOT boxes will look like (from knottie hikkup).

We are doing a custom signature plate instead. (Drawn by FI, of course.)

Here is the mock up of flowers Esther did for me. I love them!

Here are some of my favorite pictures. LoOove this satin ribbon for my bouquet, love peonies and roses, and of course the color PINK!

Okay, this is how I am (was) planning to do peonies in October the light pink garden English rose. Look at that double bud. Isn*t gorgeous?

Our centerpieces will have some type of greenery around the vases. This is the closest picture I could find and it*s really nothing like it.

I will toss a fortune bouquet (made up of a cluster of smaller bouquets, each bearing its own secret fortune) from a balcony to anyone (guys and gals) who wants to be married, to anyone who is married, and to anyone who would get married again!

I bought these charms for our fortune bouquet from Sterling Trends.

We are having a sweetheart*s table.

Here is our custom cake topper from rightbraincreations.com. Lisa did a great job.

I*ve added this cake to my bio just for fun. This is such a cute idea and I fell in love with the cake topper. You can order this cake at mikesamazingcakes.com - unfortunately they will only make the topper for you if you order a cake.

Another just for fun cake. We may end up doing this cake for a grooms cake after all. If you see anything cool (3D-ish) relating to any of Dans hobbies - movies, comics or music please let me know.

And another. This is hilarious.

I love how this cake symbolizes tying-the-knot. But alas this cake will remain a fantasy. None of the cake bakers we met with said this cake was really doable. I still love you, rope cake.

This cake is the inspiration for the little pink flower candies that will be served with each piece of cake at our wedding.

I am in love with this gorgeous cake right now from Wisconsin knottie mlf625 and want to do something like this. The detail of her cake matched the hem on her dress.

Here is something that we considered and checked into but have decided against. We thought about doing our initial in chocolate and, yes, serving it with a piece of cake.

We are definitely doing table cameras with a scavenger hunt.

Love this for the kids (coloring books, crayons, and animal crackers.)

Love these bathroom baskets.

We have no idea what we are doing for a card box (maybe a big vase?) This is my second choice from knottie fullohearts.

We will have an engagement photo displayed similar to this at our reception along with our parents wedding pictures.

This is the gorgeous stain glass window in our beautiful church.

Here are some photos of our reception hall, the Polish Center.

This is a good shot of the hurricane candles the hall provides for free (love them). We were planning on doing flowers around the base but now that Esther is doing our flowers the sky is the limit!

Maybe something like JDAngel*s centerpieces.

We are going to have a photo booth at our reception. So much fun!

Can*t get enough must take pictures!

Amazing photo from NY knottie JDAngel. Can you tell that I like her stuff?

This turned out so nice and colorful, so beautiful. I wanted a picture of us sitting outside at a little table with chairs like this. Can*t imagine a better shot than this one from Wisconsin knottie SSBuck!

Here*s a must take engagement shot. This one is from mfl625.

And how could I leave out my most precious babies? Nanook and Zoe are approximately three months old and are littermates brother and sister. They are hanging out in one of their very favorite places the bathtub. Momma is so proud of them because they are such good kitties. Don*t you just want to love them?

Zoe (6 months) crying for attention while Momma takes pictures. She is our little princess.

Nanook (also 6 months) wants attention too. Isn*t he handsome?

Thanks for looking and happy planning!
