| About our wedding: Old house pictures from My Townhouse Pics were taken by DH right before Open House showings when I had taken more than half of our things out of the house. Breakfast Nook TINY Dining Room with DHs computer armoire (This was the only time his computer area was this neat) Family Room Family Room and stairs on right Dining Room and patio on Left Looking down from the curved staircase. I loved the cathedral ceilings. Full Guest Bath Guest bedroom with sofabed on the left Guest bedroom with TV on the right Master bedroom looking out. Cathedral ceilings here too. Master bedroom (at least you can see the dresser) Full Master Bath (I miss my big deep shower!) Christmas tree pic from the townhouse (I don't know why the color is so faded.) We're on our way to sell my little house! Our New House! (Moved in June 2004) DH took these during the first snowstorm. I know we have normal pics somewhere! Back of the house The picture was taken of the foyer from the front door. Foyer wall at the bottom of the steps (Gotta love the blue painter's tape labeling the switches! There are a few that we still don't know what they control....the neighbor's house maybe? Blurry pic with the candles lit. Steps as seen from the Living Room The Wedding Wall The foyer goes from the front to the back of the house. Its HUGE. This pic is from just past the stairs. This is the back of the foyer on the left. The open window leads to right over the kitchen sink. The foyer at the back of the house leading to the patio and hot tub. Foyer from the back of the house to the front with a view of the steps to go to the garage and basement. Living Room as you walk in from the front door and foyer on the right. Living Room You can see that it is really part of a Great Room with the Dining Room at the back. Walkway to the Dining Room section China Cabinet and Sideboard that help separate the two areas Formal Dining Room area (You can see the hot tub and swingset though the window) China and table centerpieces (I keep these out until we have company. Then I use the table pad with an ivory tablecloth and a cranberry runner along with our china and silver chargers.) Foyer at the back of the house leading into the Formal Dining Room. DH loves this clock I found! Hallway from front door and foyer to the left of the house. On the left are two closets. The first one is for coats and the second is the pantry. Along the left is this hall with our DVD cabinet. On the left is the laundry room and the powder room is on the right. Powder Room Ladder shelf and quilt rack Family Room - I reupholstered the storage cubes to match the pillows. You can also see my laptops where I spend all my time knotting. Short wall beside the couch Fireplace (Did you notice that the fireplace is made of WOOD? WHY??) So far so good... DHs favorite part of the house. Gotta love XBOX on the big screen! Looking into the Kitchen from the Family Room. I love my cabinet space!! Some are still empty! Good picture of the new tin backplash and the $400 Fridge(such a deal!) as well as the wine fridge that DH installed for me. Pink tile before and Tin tiles now Looking into the Breakfast Area from the Kitchen and Family Room. My favorite spot in the house is on the left. Its a little nook where I keep my plants and you can watch the road and the state park behind it. You can see the deer and wild turkeys from the park walk right by the windows. I just realized that the family of 8 deer is eating all of our landcaping. Cute....but GRR! Tuscan Themed Breakfast Area/Kitchen Table I love my stained glass window....even though its not real! Close up of the mirror window with the shutters closed. My mom got me the pics on the wall for about $1 each. The glass wass broken and the pictures are scratched. She bought them for the black frames when I was back in my old house. When I finally found them again, we put them here..scratches and all! More decorations for the Tuscan kitchen. Foyer leading into the Breakfast Area Basement Dh is constructing an English pub. The bar has a roof with posts to hold it up. He is custom building the surface of the bar. It will be 2 sheets of glass with ticket stubs to all the concerts hes been to as well as famous Rolling Stone magazine covers in between the glass. View from behind the bar. He still has to put a shelf around the whole room at the top of the paneling that can hold drinks while you play pool. You can see the pool table, the Guinness neon that I got DH for Xmas, You can also see the dresser that I am in the process of refinishing. The bar will look similar to this when finished. Walking in the Master Bedroom I bought this headboard for $37 and refinished it in 2 days! Here's an upside down pic of the headboard. You can see the 3 panels have been stripped of stain. The rest of it is the color as we bought it. Heres a pic of the bedding for the Spring and Summer. My makeup table and dressing area. The closet is to the left. This space is between the bedroom and bathroom. We are remodeling the master bath when we have the cash. This will stay without the wallpaper. We plan to paint a seafoam green kinda color. This must go! (At inspection, black sludge came out of the jacuzzi pipes. The owners never cleaned the piping. We plan to put in a large European glass shower. (Like the one at the Borgata Casino in AC.) We'll rip the shower out and put in another closet. The shower is half the size of a phone booth. ...freaks me out. View leaving the Master Bedroom You can see Dh's office at the end of the hall (No pics of a clean office yet! But it was a Pepto Bismal pink color. YIKES! Dh has 3 computers running at all times....and at least 2 other computers in pieces covering the floor. I helped him design an Africa theme for him to keep his memorabiliafrom growing up in Africa in here.) Guestroom is on the right. The wallpaper is hideous. I just havent worked myself up to taking it down. I found this headboard for $50! There is another bedroom across the hall that is filled with boxes from floor to ceiling.....gotta hide my crap somewhere! Guest Bathroom. Pics from our first Christmas in the new house.
