Non-Pro Pics

Ok, so this picture is so crazy. My friend had his camera set for the shutter to be open for too
long, so it caught Carl twice as he was shoving cake in my face. You can see the pieces of cake
in mid-air.

Wedding Night - Alaskan Inn, Ogden Canyon
We stayed in the Solstice Cabin and it was awesome.

(If you would like a review of Sandals Whitehouse, page me and I'd be happy to give details...too many to list here!)

DIY Pocketfolios-6x6 Square, Dark Bronze from MyGatsby.com (they actually measured 6.25 x 6.25)
The green ribbon came from my grandma's 20+ year old ribbon collection.
I couldn't find the right color and it was really cool to get to use something from her on the invites.
The fonts were Scriptina and Will&Grace, the flower was N from Traditional Floral 111 - all from dafont.com.

Sorry, Shutterfly made the insert pics a different shape, but you get the idea.

DIMENSIONS:
Invite - 5.25 x 5.25 inches
Directions insert: 6 high x 5.5 wide
RSVP insert: 5.5 high x 5.5 wide
E-Pic: 5 x 5, paper backing was 5.25 x 5.25

By making them all 5.5 wide, you can get 2 per sheet of paper.
Other supplies were from Michael's, Xpedx, and printing was done at Staples Copy Center. (Staples is awesome and cheap for printing!)
***I like making maps for inserts and just invites in general, so if you need any help, page me on the Utah board.***

Here is my invitation helper, Sophia. At least one of us had fun!

Bridal Shower

Pictures from the bridal shower. We did a tropical theme.

Grandma, FMIL, Mom, Me, FSIL, FGIL

Carl proposed on Christmas morning in 2004 - pictures from that moment.

My gorgeous ring!

Shoes and earrings from Meier & Frank

I made my own veil for $15. It turned out very nice, but it is hard to photograph.

Garter - Carl is a huge Bengals Fan and this turned out to be a huge hit with the guys at the wedding.

Photography: STC Digital, Draper, UT, www.stcdigital.com , A++++++++++++++++++++++++++
---Steve at STC is a great photographer! My pictures speak for themselves. They have great quality and service and their prices are good. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hair & Makeup:
Shantel Fausett at Elements Salon, Layton, UT, A+++
---Shantell is amazing. She did my hair & makeup for my bridals and wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend her!!

Location: Ogden Golf and Country Club, Ogden, UT, A++
---Michelle at OGCC really hooked us up and made sure the day was perfect. It was a great location for the wedding.

Cake: Kelly's Confections, Clinton, UT, www.kellysconfections.com , B+
---Kelly obviously makes a beautiful cake. She had some time issues on the day of the wedding and the cake didn't arrive until a half-hour before the ceremony as guests were already arriving. But the cake was delicious and exactly what I described to her!

Officiant: Reverend Sue Borg, Murray, UT, www.iammiracle.org , A++
---Rev. Borg is a great lady. She did an awesome job at our ceremony. We met with her before the wedding and she asked a lot of questions about us and our relationship. She incorporated very personal and special things into the ceremony and made us laugh.

Casino: Casino Parties of Utah, SLC, UT, www.casinopartiesofutah.com , A+
---The casino party was a big hit with our guests. This company did everything and I didn't have to worry about a thing.

Flowers: DIY, materials from Ensign Wholesale, SLC, UT , A+++
---Ensign is a company that sales to businesses and you have to have a business license to set up an account. But if you do have a license, it is so worth it to use them. I got 300 roses and a ton of filler for $340. They had great quality and service. I made all of the centerpieces, bouts, bouquets etc. myself.

Tuxes: King's Row, Newgate Mall, Ogden, UT, B
---These guys are easy to work with, but we had a few issues with pants being too long, necks too tight etc. and the guys didn't catch it until it was too late.

Dress: Group USA, Ontario, CA, A
---I bought my dress while on vacation and I was by myself. I walked into this store to just try on some dresses for fun and the very first dress I tried on I fell in love with. I hadn't even started looking yet. The dress fit perfect, it was a great price, and I was able to take it home that week before I left. The ladies were great and did my bustle and steaming for cheap.

"Will I have-a light? SUCCESS!!"
