i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
                                    i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

? If there is one thing I love - it’s a great deal. If there are two things I love, it’s winning and a great deal. So buying my dream dress under competitive circumstances for a great deal is like...well...my dream! my boy... his boys... table decor?
Rather than disposable cameras, I want to take the opportunity to utilize some of our guests creative talents, so we’re going to put Lomographic cameras on the tables for everyone to play around with. To the left are some samples of what we might end up with... (the bride is the beautiful Saraem at her most recent fitting!) Similarly, in lieu of a traditional wedding video, we’re also going to put old super 8 movie cameras out, and let our guests document the night for us. A friend will videotape the key moments (ceremony, speeches, first dance) and when the celebration is over, we’ll develop and transfer the film and put it all together to create our wedding video! (Don’t worry, the cameras are automatic point and shoot, anyone can handle them!) just for fun... guest photo booth

then
& now our colors! my dress! the diy files The first wedding project I am attempting are the paper flowers/aisle decor. The pastel ones are Martha’s, and what I hope to achieve, and the green one is my first attempt with neon tissue paper I had in the house. Not quite there yet. Our DIY save the dates. The wonderful JJStar was kind enough to send me her vintage postcard after a desperate ISO post I made. This is the end result. The back is the actual postcard back complete with “the mild climate of Santa Monica...” and our wedding website. In addition to our save the dates, I’m also designing our invitation and wedding stationary
(to be a mix of offset printing and letterpress.) Fingers crossed that we get reasonable quotes! I got really jealous of this Erin Cole birdcage-esque veil that my photog had on her blog, and I could never afford, so I went to Joanne’s and bought them out of ivory tulle (only about 2.5 yards) to try my hand at veil making. I made two in about 30 mins, and
the results are to the left. I think with a little more practice (like
the flowers) I’ll be able to come up with something usable. (Don’t
I look enthusiastic? I can’t help it, my face automatically
distorts when in front of the camera. It’s a curse.) more to come...
