ABOUT US
It was a meeting of chance.
I first met Alex when he came into my line at the grocery store.
I asked "Credit or Debit?" his response..."Credit, because
I want you to know that I have some."
Months later (after weeks of him returning to the store), I literally
bumped into him at a Walgreen's store
on the Capital Square.
On October 17, 2003, Alex
took me to that same Walgreen's store to propose.
He took my hand and we sat on a bench right across the street from the store
and that is where he asked
me to be his wife.
We are VERY excited to be
planning our wedding. We have less than 1 months to go!!!

The gown:

This
is the hairpin I plan on wearing. It was my grandmother's.

Veil: Definitely love the cathedral length a friend of the
family is making it!

trial...february 22nd. I think they got it perfectly!!
The Groom...
Alex
will be wearing a 3 button notch jacket with an ivory shirt and
harribone ivory tie and matching vest.
This isn't the exact picture, but you get an idea of the three button
jacket.
The GMs will wear a two button notch jacket with an ivory shirt,
burgundy vest and tie.
The fathers and ringbearers, same as the groomsmen, but they will have a
black vest and tie.

I believe this is from US Angles. They will wear ivory
with an ivory sash or pink sash.
FLOWERS
My bouquet will be majestic red calla lilies, and a
spray of peach, ivory, light pink roses.
For BM,
all roses with same color scheme as my bouquet.
For my handsome groom, calla lily, but in majestic red.
For the GM and rest....rose bouts.
The
Cake Topper.
This is us as babies!! I am on the left and Alex is on the right. These
will be used the the photo frame of the cake topper.
Centerpieces: No flowers, going for the more dramatic candle look.
The larger cylinder will have love quotes around it for people to read.
This is the fabric we found at Joann's I love the embroidery of the flowers.
Our Pew Bows: I made them myself.

My
DIY invitations: I am SO proud of these.
I've been getting a lot of nice compliments on them so the hard work really
paid off.
THE COVER
Inside of the card.
The blossom graphic I got from a clip art book in a section called "Classic
Images: Flowers."
Hopefully after the wedding I can expand on the detailed process of making
them.
Our FAVORITE Wedding gift so far...my
old friend got married in September and her photographer caught
Alex and I on the beach. My friend and her sister blew up the
photo and gave it to us as a present.
I cried when I saw it. I love it.
