I loved how the bright orange and fuschia flowers contrasted with my dress and the old colonial buildings and doors in San Miguel de Allende.

We had such an amzing time at our wedding! We had 60 guests come, half were my family from Mexico, and the other half were family and friends from Minnesota. This particular shot was such a fun moment! A balloon vendor lent us his balloon arrangement in front of the church (La Parroquia) in the main square of San Miguel de Allende. We had a blast walking around this beautiful town taking photos. Nate wore an Alfani Red black suit with a Michael Kors tangerine tie and white dress shirt. My dress was by La Sposa, which I purchased at Brides of France in Minnesota. All photos were taken by Michael Amici (www.michaelamici.com.)

Our intimate ceremony took place in a garden of our hotel, Posada Carmina. We loved the cascading bougainvillea on the walls! Duo guitarists Frances and Jack played Mexican boleros during the ceremony. Our officiant was Richard Keene. Our lovely bridesmaids were allowed to choose any tangerine dress from David's Bridal, and the groomsmen wore tangerine Michael Kors ties with white dress shirts, and black pants.

Our photographer was standing on the second floor of the hotel (Posada Carmina) overlooking the courtyard. This photo was taken during the cocktail hour. Guests were treated to margaritas and mariachis before dinner. The table numbers were Mexican talavera tiles, the centerpieces were bright orange and fuscia flowers on white tablecloths.

Dancers performed several typical Mexican folkloric dances during dinner. They put on an amazing show and the guests loved it! Afterwards, we danced the rest of the night away, and we finished the night off with some fireworks.

Our delicious wedding cake - vanilla cake with almond extract and vanilla cream cheese frosting. Our wedding coordinator Alicia Vilar helped us with the cake.

We made these invitations ourselves, which was a lot of work, but we think they were the perfect color and fit with our wedding style (Mexican contemporary) perfectly!

to saraheve23: Go to Mercado de Artesanías (El Parián) is a pedestrian-only, open-air shopping area just east of Calle 6 Norte between calles 2 and 6 Oriente. You'll see rows of neat brick shops selling inexpensive crafts and souvenirs. The shops are open daily from 10am to 8pm. Bargain to get a good price. While you're in this area, you can take a look at the Teatro Principal. Read more: http://www.frommers.com/destinations/puebla/0937010031.html#ixzz0n1pftNbc *You will find pretty much everything there, and at the lowest prices. Bargain to get good prices! If your Spanish is not that good, bring a local friend, because they can give you a hard time if you are a foreigner. Also, the more you buy, the more of a deal they will cut you! Good luck!

Looks amazing!!! I'm getting married in Puebla in July and was thinking of giving out small pieces of talavera as party favors. Does anybody know what the best way to go about finding cheap talavera is?

Dear Alex & Nate, What is really show on the picture is the intensity of your love and the compenetration that both have just as One Sould, your are one of the few couples that can say their cores and their bodies were fused in one.
