When you date someone for 13 years (high school sweethearts), and you FINALLY get married, you know you have to have a great party...so New Year's Eve was the perfect wedding date for us. We knew a wedding in Iowa, in December, was a gamble...but we got lucky! Our wedding day was a bright, clear and beautiful day in Iowa...despite the subzero temperatures! We were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church and the reception was held at the Sheraton Hotel, both locations right in the heart of downtown Iowa City. This highlight video does an exquisite job of capturing so many of the emotions that were felt throughout the day. As one of my friends describes this video: "it's like watching a preview for a new reality tv show- that I wanted to see more of!!" We rang in 2010 the best way possible, by celebrating with our beloved family and friends, and at last, marrying each other. Very special thanks to Matt Bishop at MI Studios for his fantastic work.
