The bride made all of the reception centerpieces using yellow and white tag board, glue, and floral wire. The project took 4 months to completely assembly all 4,000+ flowers. Guests were amazed at the final product so much so that the bride and groom saw guests leaving with the flowers!

The couple's three bridesmaids and three groomsmen wore the unique color combination gray and yellow. The groomsmen wore gray Calvin Klein tuxedoes with contrasting yellow vests and ties, and the bridesmaids wore gray twist tank dresses from J Crew with each maid in a different style of yellow patent leather shoes. The bride also found yellow paper parasols at Hobby Lobby which added a punch of color to their photos.

Samantha was inspired by The Knot to make a unique table card display. After cutting out and sending the leaf-shaped cards to a calligrapher (aka Grandma) the bride hot glued the cards to wooden clothespins and attached them to a large wreath.

Cort and Samantha purchased their rings from Bremer Jewelry in Peoria, IL. Both rings were designed by Art Carved and are made of palladium. Thankfully it did not rain on the couple's wedding day, but if it had, the bride and groom would have been reimbursed the cost of the rings because of a promotion called “Pray for Rain.” According to Samantha, Cort had been praying for rain for an entire year.

Cort and Samantha met at a country line dance bar near their hometowns. It was only fitting that their first dance as husband and wife was the first country line dance they learned together. The groom wore his elephant skin cowboy boots all day while the bride (who bought two pair of wedding shoes) decided to barefoot ALL day.
