I wanted our wedding cake to accent our colors, turquoise and black, and be fun. What says fun more than rock candy and polka dots?! Cake credits go to Kristi's Cakes of Wilton, WI.

Something old were my earrings which were found at an antique store. Something new was my dress from Alfred Angelo. Something borrowed from my mother-in-law was the bracelet on my wrist. Something blue were my shoes which were died to match the bridesmaid dresses. I made my birdcage veil and found flower & feather attachments.

Since I couldn't find turquoise shoes I liked, I had these died by a local shoe repair shop to match the bridesmaid dresses. My wedding band was engraved to match the design on my Tacori engagement ring.
