Friends and family from coast to coast converged in the nautical town of Newport, RI to witness the wedding of Blair (White Bread) and Vivienne (Brown Toast). After dating long distance between Vancouver and New York for 2 years, the couple finally made it official by setting sail as husband and wife. The wedding wouldn't have been complete without capturing nature's coastal majesty. This photo was taken on the rocky outcropping off of Brenton Point where the couple took their first trip together.

The Bride wore a soft flowing ivory chiffon gown designed by Watters while the Bridesmaids wore indigo chiffon by Jim Hjelm to match. The magenta roses and dahlias in the bridesmaid bouquets created a beautiful contrast with the dark blue while not overpowering the Bride's bouquet of blue hydrangea, lime green mums & orchids and magenta roses.

The bridal party was screaming for mercy under the hot sun of late summer. Canopied by delicate paper umbrellas and silly faces the photographer 'took one for the team' as she laid on the hot rocks to shoot everyone's tonsils.

The lengthy slips of Goat Island provided a challenging procession for the heeled clad Bridesmaids and Bride as they walked down the dock to 'Satellite' by BT. The ceremony took place at the end of the dock as the Bride & Groom stood precariously at the edge surrounded by family and friends.

Immediately following the ceremony, Blair and Vivienne boarded the Aurora Schooner along with their guests for a cruise around Newport harbor. Before setting sail the entire wedding entourage was captured on the bow. Snacks on board included favor bags filled with sweet and salty treats accompanied with ample glasses of champagne.

The guests ranged from small infants to the bride's 90 year old grandmother, who stole the show by displaying her matriarchal prowess and stylish ensemble. Here's a picture of her caught in the camera lens as the Groom's family awaits their family picture. Her shades only add to her 'cool as a pickle' demeanor.

The Bride, Vivienne, is an aspiring pastry chef and couldn't pass up the opportunity to make her own wedding cake despite the 4 hour drive to Newport from NY. The cake highlights the White Bread & Brown Toast theme with sugar "bread" toppers and handmade magenta sugar paste flowers. The guests were served matching mini toasts (which included their very own pats of 'butter') on Guinness chocolate & vanilla cupcakes.

These are outstanding wedding photos. The photographer's ability to take pictures that reflected the creativity and personalities of the bride and groom resulted in pictures that were truly professional done. They also captured the beauty of the day and uniqueness of the wedding. Well done

This gets my vote for looking like the most fun wedding of all. the bride and groom are playful-looking and from the camera angles I'd say the photographer is also. you have to be fun loving to adopt the theme of white bread brown toast! and the cupcakes .. extra original!!
