Due to the unexpected rain during our photo shoot, we improvised and took a stroll, taking advantage of a quiet moment together before the festivities began.

I loved the way my bridesmaids black calla lily and hypericum berry bouquets contrasted with their black dresses. Eventricity Florist created my bouqet to complement theirs, with black baccara roses, calla lilies & hypericum berries bordered with black feathers.

Eventricity did a wonderful job creating a festive fall look for our centerpieces using boughs of bittersweet, arched over a bronze lantern, with manzanita branches encircling them.

A surprise gift from Matt's parents, this jack-o-lantern ice sculpture really captured the essence of the elegant Halloween theme we envisioned.

We continued to play up the Halloween theme throughout our reception. When we were announced at dinner, I walked in to Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. Matt snuck into the hall through a back entrance donning a Phantom mask and cape, and swept me onto the dance floor for our first dance as husband and wife. It was a big hit with our guests!

We gave each of our guests a Venetian type mask to wear during the reception. Everyone loved them! Many did not take them off all evening.
