We had a beach themed cake and had items and memorabilia from the actual Wildwood shore. The baker we used was "The Baker's Touch" in Douglassville, Pa.

My mother made these boutonnieres for all the groomsmen. Our guests loved them!

We had a mock boardwalk at our wedding, full with games and prizes. The guests played during the cocktail hour and during the reception. It was a way for people to experience some of the things we love about Wildwood and served as a great alternative to those who may not enjoying dancing.

My dad build a scaled down version of the arch that stands at the end of the Wildwood boardwalk. The actual words on the arch read "Through this arch walk the happiest people in the world." Jason and I knew we wanted that to be at our wedding, so my dad build it and our entire wedding party walked through it during the ceremony. It was also great for pictures. Our guests were taking pictures under the arch all night.

Instead of flowers, I had my bridesmaids hold parasols instead. It was such a great way to incorporate our summer/beach theme into our bridal party as well. It also made for some creative pictures.

The groomsmen wore sneakers instead of tux shoes. My, now, husband picks a new pair of sneakers for the shore season each year and wanted to include this in the wedding. One more tid bit is that all of the groomsmen are avid runners, so that was just an added bonus!

Here is a picture of my husband and I. I would have liked to have included many more pictures, but I thought one of the two of us is important. Along with all of our shore themed items, each of our wedding tables was named after a place in Wildwood that means a great deal to us. We also provided a story as to why each table was important to us. Our wedding favors were small bag of salt water taffy. It is honestly a day I will never forget!
