Tables were covered in apple green bengaline tablecloths with copper overlays. Each table setting had a moss green-colored napkin with a "surprise" card tucked inside, and a purple chrysanthemum on top. Antique white wooden stands were topped with rich-toned flowers: dark plum chrysanthemums, plum dahlias, orange sunset lilies, green and leonidas roses, green hydrangeas, copper beech, lotus pods, curly willow, green mini penny, purple artichokes and brown berries. Gold/copper filigree votive candles surrounded the base of each table stand.

A Hatch Show Print card announcing our marriage was the "surprise card" tucked in each napkin. This four-tier, square cake was wrapped in dark brown ribbons, coated in marzipan berries, green apples, plums, acorns and leaves, and topped with a fresh plum dahlia. Tiers alternated between yellow and dark chocolate flavors with raspberry filling and white chocolate cream cheese frosting.
