I was a single mother when my husband and wanted to make sure my son felt as though it was HIS day too. After we said our vows, we had the priest invite my son up to the alter. He exchanged a special set of vows with his new step father. "Do you promise to help him with his homework... Do you promise to love him and play with him as if he were your own' You could not wipe that smile away from this kid's face...He felt as though WE got married.. Not just mom & dad.

The photo of your son exchanging vows with your husband made me tear up. My friend's husband got on his knee and proposed to her 4 year old daughter at the same time he proposed to my friend. He even bought her a little ring just like mommy's. How adorable!!
