Our dogs Bear and Wesley are such an important part of our family we couldn’t imagine having our special day without them. They were dressed in flowered collars that were created especially for them by Bellissima Floral Creations. Rob from Tails by the Lake made sure our boys were safe, exercised and well taken care of the entire time.

This picture is of me and my ring bearer and flower girls. The ring bearer was the best man’s son. The flower girls were my goddaughter and my niece. To get the kids to pose for this picture we had to convince them to get close and talk to one another. The shot turned out priceless.

Mike and I decided to have a desert buffet rather than a cake. Our scrumptious caterers D’Lish Catering, made us Mike’s favorite desert, a fruit tart. When we went to cut the tart and share our first bite as husband and wife, the knife was not sharp enough, no matter how hard we tried. So in the spirit of fun we picked it up and went for it taking a bite together at the same time.

This picture displays the centerpieces created by Sara of Belilissima Floral Creations. Sara made unique arrangements of natural, loose flowers for each table. Each table had a frame holding a black and white picture I had taken of our dogs combined with the table number. Families with children found a goodie box at their table that I filled with special treats. Every detail was overseen and managed by our amazing wedding coordinator Merrily Rocco of Merrily Wed.

It was predicted to rain that day but Mother Nature had other plans and blessed us with sunshine and a beautiful sky full of clouds. Here Mike and I walk down a pier in Homewood, CA on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. This breath taking setting was in the back yard of the lake estate where we were married.
