About Sylvie I was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium, which is the center of the world’s diamond trade. The third generation of my family to be in the diamond business, I suppose it would be appropriate to say that it has been bred into me. Certainly, I developed an infectious passion for both the product and service aspects of the business at a young age, which was fostered by working in the industry for a number of years in Antwerp. My husband, Ian, is from South Africa. With its own rich legacy in the diamond trade, his native land had inspired him to create a life in the business. When we met, Ian was running Spectrum Diamonds, his diamond and jewelry company in the United States. I came to America so that he and I could make a life together,and a few years later joined him at Spectrum Diamonds, extending our partnership into the business world. As a supplier to retailers nationwide, we are proud that Spectrum Diamonds has developed a reputation as a premier resource, dedicated to offering great products at competitive prices. Above all, we are thrilled that it is viewed as a company that provides the highest levels of personal service to its customers. In 2007, we launched The Sylvie Bridal Collection. A number of years in development, it is a natural extension of Spectrum Diamonds, and our first full line of jewelry. The Collection provides a way for me to share my enthusiasm for love, beauty, quality, and authenticity. Meant to offer an extensive range of options for the bride-to-be, the Collection is organized into a number of stylistic categories. A hallmark of the line is the ability for each piece to be customized, allowing it to become a singular expression of the love it represents. Available through fine jewelers nationwide, the Collection is constantly evolving to include new inspirations and designs.
