ABOUT BETH
Beth was born two days after Christmas in 1985 in Poughkeepsie, New York. She, her parents, Bob and Colleen, and older sister Katie moved to Florida when Beth was only two. Since she was a little girl, Beth has always considered herself an artist. Beth loved dance, painting, and performing for others. Her love of art and performance drove her to study theatre at the University of Central Florida. Beth chose to focus in costume design, although she also loves puppets, makeup and special effects. She was lucky enough to land an internship with the character costume department at Walt Disney World Entertainment, a dream job for a girl who practically grew up at Disney World. Beth continues to pursue her love of art, and aspires to teach art to others after she completes her studies. Beth lives in sunny Orlando with Jeremy, and their four-year-old shih tzu, Eli. Beth loves cooking gourmet vegetarian meals and bouncing ideas for her creative projects off of Jeremy.
ABOUT JEREMY
Jeremy was born in Columbus, Ohio on Halloween night in 1985. A year later, Jeremy moved to Tampa, Florida with his parents, David and Debra, along with his brother Eric. Jeremy had a happy childhood growing up in Tampa, where he played many sports and learned several musical instruments. When Jeremy was twelve, he visited France, a trip that has forever impacted his life; and has given him a love of the French culture. Jeremy also studied at the University of Central Florida, as a computer-engineering student. His passion for computer technology has landed him a job with FARO technologies, the world's leader in three-dimensional measurement systems. In his spare time, Jeremy loves to play the guitar for Beth and their dog Eli. He also loves to bowl. A seasoned barista, Jeremy is also an expert at making gourmet coffee drinks. Beth thinks he is way better than Starbucks.
HOW WE MET
Beth and Jeremy were introduced by a mutual friend their freshman year at UCF. After a few months of eating all of their meals together in the school cafeteria, the two became inseparable. Jeremy would always walk Beth back to her dorm room at night after their jam sessions singing Beatles songs or watching movies. Eventually, the two fell for each other, and have been sharing their lives together ever since.
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jeremy and Beth's engagement story is unusual to say the least. The couple was visiting Beth's parent's house for dinner, when they got a phone call from their roommate. Their apartment was on fire. They drove back to Orlando to witness a horrifying scene: the roof of their apartment was completely destroyed. At least a dozen fire trucks were on the scene. It had been a three alarm fire. Water from the sprinkler systems was pouring out from the balconies like a waterfall. They knew that everything they owned had been destroyed that night. Standing in front of what had been their home, the couple held each other and cried, watching firemen hose down the charred building. Realizing he could no longer hold it in, Jeremy asked Beth if she would spend the rest of her life with him, and marry him. That same weekend, Jeremy had been in Tampa, picking out Beth's engagement ring with his mom. He was planning to propose to Beth on a romantic vacation the couple had been planning, but could no longer hold in his feelings after seeing their home destroyed. Beth enthusiastically said yes, and cried of happiness and sadness at the same time. The newly engaged couple then had to call their parents and ask, "Ok, do you want the good news first, or the bad news first?" That summer, Beth and Jeremy got back on their feet. They moved to a new condo near the university, and replaced many of the things they had lost in the fire. The devastating event made both of them realize that as long as they had each other, they didn't need anything else.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
