We met at a party in North East China in August 2003.

HOW IT HAPPENED
John popped the question while we were traveling through South East Asia. We were staying at a private villa in Ubud, Bali and were on the last leg of a three month long journey before heading to Taiwan to find new jobs. He arranged for me to spend the day at the spa while he took care of dinner details at our villa. That night, we enjoyed a specially prepared Balinese meal in a traditional Balinese garden. There were little white candles floating in the fish pond and fresh orchids everywhere. He surprised me with a beautiful 2 carat princess cut ring in yellow and white gold of his own design. It was a magical night.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
We are having a destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico at the Moon Palace Golf Resort and Spa. We both love traveling and we thought that having a destination wedding would not only best represent what we love to do better than anything else, but it would also expose our family and friends to our 'world.' What better way to celebrate our dream than with a vacation in the sun with loved ones?
