HOW WE MET
We met almost 10 years ago actually. met through a mutual friend. We were pretty much just aquintances for a long time. we were both always dating other people. I always knew I was interested in him. I would see him at our college almost everyday and wish I could get up the guts to talk with him. About 4 years ago, i came into his bar where he was working as a bartender at the time, with some friends and he asked if I was still seeing someone, i said no and gave him my phone number. He called me and asked me out the next day and weve been together every since! :)
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a long monday, i came home and made us some dinner. Shortly after dinner he received a firecall and headed out the door. He was gone for a while but I didnt really notice much, I was watching some dvred programs. He got home and seemed a bit nervous and kept smiling at me. We started to watch a movie and about a half hour into it, he jumped up and said, "Ill be right back" . I to got up to put my pj's on and when I came back down he grabbed my hands and said "so the other day you showed me the ring you love and ..... (he gets down on one knee) will you marry me?" (and he put the ring on my finger) In shock I say, "are you kidding with me?" He says "no silly" I said "but you didnt ask my dad?" He said "yes I did, I went to your parents house after the firecall and asked his permission to marry his daughter and he said yes!" OF COURSE I screamed yes yes I will marry you!!! :)
