ABOUT HAILEY
Hailey graduated from Western Kentucky University in December 2006 with a degree in News/Editorial Journalism and a minor in Religious Studies. She currently works as a personal assistant to the actress, Kathy Najimy in the Los Angeles area, while she's figuring out what she wants to be when she grows up.
ABOUT NATHAN
Nathan graduated from Western Kentucky University in December 2007 with a degree in Photojournalism and a minor in Social Work. He shoots news, weddings, feature stories, and produces multimedia. He works in Redding, California for the local newspaper, the Record Searchlight.
HOW WE MET
Nathan and Hailey met at the College Heights Herald (WKU's student newspaper). Nathan was the photo editor and Hailey was a designer. They introduced themselves, Nathan couldn't remember Hailey's name, but he said she had a pretty smile. Eventually Hailey started asking him lots of questions, and they talked for hours one night at work. Both left feeling more energized and excited about this new friendship than any other before. And then they fell in love within a few weeks. Basically love at first sight. Yep- it does happen.
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Nathan surprised Hailey and flew in to LA. They drove up to San Francisco, had an amazing day of great food and beautiful sights. Then, on top of a mountain overlooking the golden gate bridge, the city, the mountains, and the ocean - at sunset - on a huge rock in the middle of the rolling green hills- Nathan asked the question-- Hailey responded, "Yeah I will!" And laughed and jumped up and down - she just couldn't cry, it was too happy a moment. They called family and friends and ate dinner at a nice place in downtown San Francisco. The next day they drove down the Pacific Coast Highway - one of the most amazing drives EVER - everyone should do it. So, it pretty much rocked and were the best two days anyone could ever ask for.
