After a few phone calls, we decided to meet for dinner and a casual night out. Michael nearly didn't get a second date following a rather dismal showing of artistic knowledge and interest during the September 2003 Gallery Hop.

However, Michael saved the relationship two minutes into the second date, when he casually asked if Ilana was interested in getting some world-famous Graeter's ice cream following dinner. She couldn't refuse.

Ilana: Not particularly.

Mike: [Leaving room] Hold on. [Returning] I have something to show you. [Sits on coffee table, holds out beautiful diamond ring.]

Ilana: Wow!

Mike looks at Ilana.

Ilana looks at Mike.

M. raises eyebrows.

Mike: Marry me?

Ilana: Okay!

Worthington, OH ABOUT THE BIG DAY The wedding will be in downtown Columbus and we encourage our guests to take full advantage of what Columbus has to offer by spending the weekend in town. There are many events to see and do including the Saturday evening Gallery Hop (recreate our first date!), the Arena District with its restuarants and bars, the Columbus Center of Science and Industry (COSI), a home football game for Ohio State (vs. Youngstown St.), the annual Greek Festival, and the many other attractions that Columbus has for visitors.
