ABOUT JENN
I am originally from Atwater, Ca. and moved to San Diego in 2003 to get my teaching credentials. I am now in my second year teaching 6th grade math.
ABOUT JOHNNY
Johnny was born and raised in San Diego. He is an accountant and has a property management business with his mother. He spoils me rotten when he's not busy with all that:)
HOW WE MET
Thanks to Jessica Winn . . .
Johnny was working late in his office one night (as usual) and Jessica (who worked with him at the time) said she wanted to hook him up with someone - a Gulls Girl!! (Jessica was then my director for the Gulls Girls and previously we had danced together for two years.) Jess immedialty ran down to get our swimsuit calendar to show Johnny my picture, put his last name on a post-it and put it next to my name on the picture and presented it to Johnny.
A couple of weeks later, after much anticipation of meeting each other, Jess invited Johnny to one of our Gulls Games. Understadably hesitant, Johnny agreed to go to the game but not expecting much since he thought we came from two very different worlds...He, a reserved accountant busy with many work projects and I, in his words, "a stunning and beautiful swimsuit model."
Jessica brought him to one of the games and sat him right in front of where I was dancing! Without me knowing, after the game I was on my way to the dressing room and Jess had brought Johnny down to the tunnel to meet me. Nervously, I shook his hand and quickly left. We (Johnny, his friends Mannehl and Freddy, Jessica, and I) all went out to Chilli's for dinner and Johnny and I talked about math the whole night! :) We immediately realized we wanted to see each other again...

Our ceremony will be outside, over looking the ocean at Calumet Park and our reception will be at the La Jolla Women's Club.
