HOW IT HAPPENED
Anthony really wanted to open our gifts here before we went to Maine. So Christmas Eve morning we got our boxes from under the tree. Anthony's gift was a big box. I had hoped I was going to get a ring - but when I saw the box I had no idea what it was. It was heavy; and being an excellent gift x-rayer I knew it was not a ring. Inside the wrapping was a big fancy box. I was still confused. Inside the box was a glass slipper. Still confused. I took it out of the box and saw it was engraved with “will you marry me?” I was like - OH! Shocked, surprised & excited! Then he had the ring in his pocket; a perfect Cinderella story!

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
The wedding will take place in Cape Elizabeth & Portland, Maine. Our theme is Orange & Pink. The wedding will be catholic mass in a modern church in Cape Elizabeth. The Reception will be on the 3rd floor of a Historic Brick Building in the Old Port called Mariner's Church. It is part of Old Port tavern. And - for those of you who won't be ready for bed at 10 there is an after party at the Armoy Bar in the Portland Regency Hotel. It's right across the street & where Anthony & I will be staying. (Plus any of you who join our room block)
