Newlyweds for 429 days!
ABOUT MEGAN
Megan is a caring, loving and patient individual. She is always reaching out to help others. Megan is very organized and likes to keep lists (and lists for Aaron too!). If she does something, she wants it done perfect (or as close to it as possible). That is something that they both have in common! Megan always knows how to lighten a room when she enters because of her smile and positive attitude. Megan feels that she has not only found her life partner in Aaron, but also her best friend and she wouldn't want it any other way.

ABOUT AARON
Aaron is someone who is easy going (for the most part) and enjoys having fun with whatever he is involved in. He is a good listener and loves to share his thoughts (sometimes even when they are not wanted!). He enjoys learning new things and often finds himself getting more involved than he should with projects. It seems that the more involved he gets, the more people he turns to for help. Aaron considers himself so lucky to have the type of friends that he has. He is also a very lucky person to have met his soulmate...Megan!

HOW WE MET
Aaron and Megan first met at the 2002 ADGA National Show in Pueblo, Colorado, but according to Aaron, Megan was not very friendly towards him. Later that year, while Megan was judging the Montana State Fair, they were officially introduced, however, Megan remembers Aaron being very shy. It wasn't until the spring of 2004 that they would meet again, of course at another goat show, then again in July at the 2004 ADGA National Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where their friendship continued to grow. Finally, at the 2005 ADGA National Show in Spokane, Washington, Aaron's longtime friend Laura decided to take it upon herself to get Aaron and Megan together. If it hadn't been for her prodding and Megan's friend Sara encouraging her to go out with Aaron, it probably would have been another few years before the two of them got together! Luckily they each took their friends advice and decided to make more of their friendship and give love a chance. Needless to say, they hit it off that evening and have enjoyed their friendship and romance ever since. As they say...the rest is history!

The couple had an engagement party in Texas hosted by Aaron's friends and wedding attendants, Dianne and Debbie, in April. In addition, the students in Aaron's kindergarten class and their parents put together a special party at the school so that they could meet Ms. Megan during her visit to Texas. Both events were alot of fun and Megan really enjoyed being able to meet many of Aaron's friends, students and colleagues that have been such an important part of his life. WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
It had been decided that Aaron would spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with Megan's family again this year. Megan went to the San Francisco airport on Tuesday night to pick Aaron up, after his arrival they stopped on 19th Avenue and had dinner at Chevy's before heading to Megan's place and towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Aaron had asked if there was a place to stop at the bridge, so they pulled off at one of the lookouts and got out of the car for a closer look. As they were looking out on the San Francisco Bay, they had some bystanders take a few photos of them, then after everyone had left, Aaron kissed Megan before getting down on his knee and asking her to marry him. Of course...she said YES and they have chosen August 4, 2007 as the day that they will officially be Mr. & Mrs. Aaron Carter!
