ABOUT SARAH
Sarah used to be a high school art teacher before returning to get her Master's degree in Graphic Design and Photography at Texas Woman's University. She hopes to get a teaching job for next year and is busy planning the wedding!
ABOUT ADAM
Adam works as a computer programmer (which he learned himself by reading books) at a very small company in Plano, and attends college at Collin County Community College.
HOW WE MET
After a night of drinking out on the town with a girlfriend, we were at a club where she was inside chatting with a guy she met and I was standing outside at the entrance, with my friend who worked the front door. I was very bored, there was hardly anyone in the club, when I saw two nice-looking guys walk by who had just gone out of the exit on the side of the club. I grabbed them and said "hey come back inside and dance with me" - they came inside, and Adam and I started dancing... we danced for about two hours straight and the rest is history.....
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
We were going on our first vacation together, it was a Thursday and had been raining all morning (pouring). We drove from Dallas to Turner Falls and checked into our cabin (the "love nest" at Arbuckle Paradise Cabins). Adam insisted we go to Turner Falls and go swimming. It was very cold out and it took a lot of coaxing but I finally put on my swim suit and we went to Turner Falls. We took our time walking over to the waterfall, exploring some buildings and taking pictures. When we finally got to the falls he said we should get in and swim (there was no one there, it was so cold even though it was in August, since it had been pouring all morning). I would not get into the water, I kept putting my foot in and it was SO COLD, so he finally got down on one knee, and pulled a ring out of his pac-man swim trunks and proposed to me... I was so shocked, I couldn't believe that was why he wanted to go swimming, I said yes, and we swam out to the rock under the water where he said he originally wanted to propose to me.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
Our wedding will be outside in the afternoon, it will be inside the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, with the reception to follow, in downtown Sulphur in a building that we rented. We have an awesome DJ booked so be prepared to Dance!
