ABOUT VALERIE
I am 23 yrs. old and grew up in Garland, Texas and moved to Richardson when I was 12. I am an only child, but not as spoiled as you would assume. I went to Berkner High School and loved choir and dancing. I love to dance, hang out with friends,drink coffee, go shopping and hang out with my hunny. I also love to travel, and see all the sights. I've been to many places, including London, and Paris. I plan on getting a psychology degree soon. I am almost done with school. Cannot wait to be finished. I am in Nashville for the summer, working and getting stuff ready for the wedding.
ABOUT JEREMY
I was born in Ft. Worth, Tx, and lived in Arlington in my early years. Then my family moved to Burleson, where they still are today. I am 25 years old, and graduated from UTA in December of 2002. I worked for my Aunt at her real estate business for a while before I got a job that went along with my major; Information Systems. I love this job, except it moved me to Nashville over the summer of 2003. I love Nashville, but it's hard to be away from Valerie. I have two twin brothers Matt and Phil and one sister Ruth-Ann. Matt is married and lives in Plano, Tx, and Phil is married, has one adorable daughter Jessica, and just recently born was Carson James and they live in McKinney, Tx. Ruth-Ann is also married and lives in Wachahachie, Tx. Valerie and I plan on living in Nashville after we marry. I love classic rock, the Simpsons, King of the Hill, South Park, Family Guy, and westerns. I love the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and boating. I also love to travel and just relax at home.
HOW WE MET
Now this is the funny story. We actually met on the internet, in a yahoo chat room. I was actually dating someone when we first talked, but he and I became instant friends. The other guy quickly became history because I knew Jeremy was special. :) The first time we talked on the phone was when he called me on Super Bowl Sunday 2003. The first time we met was on Jeremy's birthday and we met at the Chilis in Denton. I said I would take him out to dinner for his BD, but he still insisted on paying. We had our first date a week later, which ended up being on Valentines Day. We went to the Italian Inn in Ft. Worth and then a movie. Every weekend after that we went out, and every day since the very very first time we talked on the internet we have talked. :)
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jeremy was in town for Thanksgiving break and I had no idea he was gonna do it then. He asked my father for permission first outside in our backyard by a little chimney fire thing we have. He had brouht my dad some Starbucks, and my dad lit the fire, and then Jeremy asked him. Then Jeremy and I went out for a bit, got some dinner, came back and everyone ate. Jeremy and I were in my room playing with our dog Lady, and I was in PJ's. He was still dressed, and I was wondering why. Then he got Lady in his arms and bent down on one knee, and asked me! It was the sweetest thing ever. Lady is our new puppy we just got a few days ago. She is a part of our family and him holding her just made it extra special. The ring is absolutely gorgeous. It is white gold, half carat round stone in the middle with 8 princess cut channel set sidestones on both sides. Absolutely fabulous! After he asked me, we went in and told my parents, and then we popped the cork on some pink champagne to celebrate!! Yay!

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
Elegent yet simple, I don't want it to be too extravegent. We just want all of our family and friends there. We will have a nice dinner reception with lots of dancing!!! :)
