HOW IT HAPPENED
I graduated from nursing school in the afternoon. After the ceremony was over, Edgard whisked me away to the car, to go back to the house- or so I thought. He ended up driving me to Schlanger Park and then told me that he wanted to take a walk with me. We hadn't been able to spend any real time together yet that day, and he just wanted a little time for ourselves. So we walked for a little while, and then sat down under a tree. He told me he wanted to pray for me and my career. So we prayed, and when I opened my eyes, there was the ring! He asked me to marry him, and I eagerly said "*gasp*- yes!"
