ABOUT HENNA
I grew up in Newark, DE and currently live in Philadelphia, PA. I graduated from University of Delaware in 2003 and from UVA in 2004, and recently left E&Y to work as a finance and accounting recruiter.. and I love my new job! I love going to concerts, enjoying summers at the beach, having constant reunions with my UD ladies and fellas, spending time with my family, and getting crazy with my friends! Above all, I am so excited to take this next step with Ian!
ABOUT IAN
I grew up in Felton, DE and currently live in Wilmington, DE. I graduated from University of Delaware in 2001 with a degree in stand-up comedy. No, not really. I enjoy motorcycles, automobiles, and outdoor sports like kayaking, camping, and hiking. (Even though I don't get a chance to do them, I do enjoy them.) I work in sales, but my hardest sell was asking Henna to marry me! I am looking forward to sharing a life with my new fiancee.
HOW WE MET
Even though we went to University of Delaware together for 2 years, we didn't meet until after college. We were introduced by several mutual friends that we both knew from the beach, and hit it off right away. After cultivating a friendship, it was hard to deny what a perfect fit we were.. and we fell in love!
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED

HOW IT HAPPENED
Ian and I are both huge steak fans.. so we went to a wonderful, new steak restaurant for dinner. He was being his normal, goofy self, so I didn't think anything of it. After a great dinner, he said we needed to stop by his house to grab some things before we headed up to a friend's place in Philly for the night, but when I opened the door.. I saw a note with my name on it. The first note led me on a treasure hunt all over his house to find 7 clue poems, with a letter on each clue eventually spelling out the word "bedroom." When I opened the door, there was soft music playing and the room was covered in red and white rose petals and candles.. I can't really quite remember the rest, but I do know that I couldn't stop crying and that I definitely said YES! :)

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Doubletree in Wilmington. It's going to be a mix of mostly traditional Pakistani and a little bit of British-American.. but we do know this: everyone better get their dancing shoes ready! :)
