My Proposal Story
Ray took me to Rosas for dinner and then we were supposed to go to Avila Hot Springs for our anniversary. After dinner it was really early still so we went for a drive out to Port San Luis. We headed back to the hot springs and we parked the car... he pulled a pair of flip flops out of the back seat and told me to take my heels off, I needed to change my shoes. Then, he took out a blindfold and made me put it on. I argued with him for like, 10 minutes cuz I didn't want to do either. I finally put it on, expecting him to come open my door and walk me up to one of the really nice hotel rooms where there would be flowers and such, but instead he started driving. When we finally parked again, he opened my door and I could tell we were at the beach. We started walking (I tripped over the curb) down the pier in Pismo. People were talking and laughing so I was NOT happy (I still had no clue what he was up to) Then he told me he bought a boat and that was my surprise so I was PISSED. Finally he let me take off my blindfold and he was down on one knee with this GORGEOUS ring. I instantly started crying lol. Then I noticed people were cheering and taking pictures and then I realized my ENTIRE family and all my friends were gathered around the end of the pier. I couldn't have asked for anything better! AHH!
